A new shifter in town seeks permission to start her new life in the Forest of Dean. Miss Honeywell was kicked out of her pack at the age of eighteen and has lived an isolated life away from wolf communities ever since. She finally has a chance at a permanent job and on meeting Jake, Robert and the rest of the expanding Forest of Dean Pack, she insists on a couple of rules of her own so that she can comfortably stay in the forest. 1, Miss Honeywell wants nothing to do with the pack. 2, She refuses to be a part of it in any way other than to teach the children from the community that attend Forest View School where she works. Lochlann has been smitten since he first met Lexie. Unable to read her and learning little bits about her from the twins, Lochlann makes it his mission to ask her on a date. Her past and the present collide. The Grayson pack want Lexie back and Lochlann discovers that Lexie is the woman that he will protect until the end, no matter what the cost to himself. The Grayson youngsters need her. She knows what will happen to them if left in the hands of her father and her chosen mate. Can Lochlann convince Miss Honeywell that they have a future together or will she return to Falon?
I like to think of myself as normal, but I’m discovering that not everyone has characters in their heads that like to plot and plan anything from revenge to a loving or lustful moment, when you really should be concentrating on other things. So, I guess the description of myself as normal, isn’t all that accurate.
I am often curled up in a comfy chair with a good paranormal book until the early hours of the morning, or just finishing off a chapter that I’m writing. Ultimately, that tends to turn into beginning the next one and so it continues. I surprise myself with how little sleep I actually need, surviving on really unhealthy snacks and sugary drinks to keep me going.
My husband deserves a gold medal for putting up with me and my nocturnal habits.
My family is getting bigger each time I self publish. I now have 9 wonderful grandchildren and a tenth one on the way! For the latest news on my books, follow me on Facebook.
Oh, I really liked this one. Sped up 10 years to see what has happened to everyone. This time we concentrated on Lochlanns life and what a tale it turned into!
Just enough heat and a whole lot of mystery & soul searching (oh, yeah, shifters, too).
Editing much better in this volume then the previous 3 but still numerous duplicate, misspelled or just plain wrong words used throughout. The chapters are still long but not quite as long as the previous books in the series.
This book was just good as rest of this series is. Can't wait for the next book. I love Jake, Kat., Lochlan and the rest. You can't just love one, you have to love them all.
