Six angelic beings govern Earth. They are beautiful and strong, exquisitely formed and fashioned. The day they become enemies is forever etched in their memories. It is Helel's fault.
Not even Abba, the Creator, conceives that Helel could become enchanted by an impossible notion: to be deity. Emboldened by beautiful Atara, Helel morphs from a faithful friend to a cunning foe.
Seduced by their own ambition, Helel and Atara form the most evil alliance that existence had ever known.

I won this on goodreads. This is a wonderful, yet sad story how Daystar (aka Satan) develops pride and turns away from Abba (aka God). Daystar convinces other angels to worship him and not God, which escalates into warfare between both parties. The characters are real and maybe a little simplistic but this helps you understand the struggles on both sides. Highlighted is God's love for his creations even when they disown him, and the pain God has when his creations don't return his love.
