None of them knew how many pieces they were missing until they all slot into place.
Jericho thinks his life is complete and that he doesn’t need anyone else. Quinn is sure he can never get back what he’d lost. Will wants to be a piece of someone’s heart, the hero of their story. Peyton fights his nightmares alone, struggling against the tide, his own dark thoughts an anchor. Sebastian’s hardened heart keeps him from letting anyone else in, too afraid to be hurt again.
Now real happiness, together, is within their grasp. Everything might be perfect, if it wasn’t for the man who wants all of their heads and won’t stop until he has them. It will take everything the five have to reach for their happily ever after.
When the worst happens and their precarious foundations crumble around them, is the love they weren’t prepared for going to be enough to keep them together… and alive?
Cohesion is the third and final book in the Chain Reaction trilogy, an MMMMM romantic suspense series. It is not a standalone, and follows the same five men and their relationship. It ends in a satisfying HEA.
It contains adult situations, gun use, suspense themes, a character with on-page PTSD, and more. The full list can be found inside the book.
Aurora Crane is an Australian author who loves to write romance with a healthy serving of banter, snark and all the swoon.
Her books are a mix of MM and MM+. She loves to write men in suits, sprawling universes with a plethora of side characters, and an abundance of steamy situations.
I had the honour of getting an early copy of this wonderful book. Cohesion is the third and last book in the Chain Reaction Series and follows the relationship between Quinn, Sebastian, Will, Payton and Jericho. It is a mix of sweet and spicy love story and crime.
The book starts out rather slow and cozy, the guys are learning more about each other and working out how they fit together. Some would describe a relationship like this as “puzzle-pieces fitting together” but in my eyes the guys are more like a Rubik’s cube. They don’t fit together perfectly like a puzzle yet; they are working together to get all sides of the cube lined up. And let me tell you that’s not easy. In this book we learn more about everyone’s pasts. How Jericho came to doo what he does, how Quinn and Sebastian felt about the breakup, etc. Those scenes where highly emotional and you could feel the feelings bleeding through from every word. All the love and insecurities were palpable through the pages and if you ask me that is one of the authors strengths.
A relationship like this can feel rushed easily, especially since the relationship develops really fast (The three books span a few months), but Aurora Crane makes everything feel so natural and right. Each man has their individual personality and even though they couldn’t be more different from each other they just fit together perfectly. Sebastian with his wits, snark and workaholicism (is that a word?), Quinn who is so strong and confident, Peyton with his hidden strength, who is still so unsure about his place in life, Will the big snacky with his never-ending optimism and Jericho who is slowly learning to open up to his men. Each of them tells a part of the story from their POV and I love how well written they are. Even the side characters a backstory and personality and I’m hoping to see more of them in upcoming books.
The treat they have faced since book one isn’t resolved yet though. Around the halfway mark the story goes from 0 to a 100. I won’t go into detail as to not spoil anyone but let me tell you, from that point on I couldn’t put the book down anymore. There were quite a few scenes that had me at the edge of my seat, the suspension was almost cruel. I was cursing, swearing and nearly cried at the end. (Don’t worry everyone gets a HE)
Altogether the book was a worthy ending to the series and I can`t wait to get a physical copy for my trophy shelfe. I look forward to all the other books in this universe that are hopefully to follow. And if you loved the Chain Reaction series, make sure to check out the Spinn-Offs, I just had to reread them after finishing Cohesion.
I'm so sad that Will, Sebastian, Jericho, Quinn, and Peyton's stories have come to a close, and what a way to end their individual stories, along with ending their story together as a pentagon. I will say that when Jericho's character was first introduced in the second story, I wasn't a big fan of his addition. He just felt a bit.. stilted to me. However, in this story I got to read more about his character and who he is at his core, along with seeing his relationship with these men grow and develop into something special. With that being said, his character definitely won me over in this addition, all of these men fit so beautifully together.
The overarching plotline carried over from the previous books really well, I liked how events that happened in the previous stories were referenced to in this one, and the suspense that was built in this story was intense!! The action scenes were done in a breathtaking way, the big scene with Sebastian, Kendrick and Spencer made my heart simultaneously drop and speed up. The level of detail and the depth that Aurora achieved in not only this book, but this series is incredible. I was immediately invested in these characters once again, I needed to know what their outcome would be. Whether or not they would finally catch the guy/guys who brought them all together, if they would be able to talk about their pasts and help one another heal, if they could figure out a way to make things work between them all. I have to say, I was very, very, happy with the ending.
I'm not going to dive into the events that happened cause I don't want to spoil anything, all I'm going to say is this book is wonderful!! Something I love the most, (aside from the communication being a key point to making their relationship work), was the fact that they didn't try to make it seem as though anyone was perfect. I loved that message being talked about because I feel as though it's a really important one. The growth that all of these characters achieved from the first book to this one was so beautiful and I'm so glad that these men got their happy ending. And I'm also happy that Persephone got a furry friend. I'm really excited for Riley's story and maybe Kendrick and Spencer will get their own story at some point? One can hope!
The love story of these 5 men was written so beautifully, every emotion felt along with the characters. They were not perfect and had their flaws, and that's what made them perfect. There were glimpses of their vulnerability in the previous books but in this book, oh boy, they were gutted open. Their walls didn't stand a chance. Their pain and anguish just leapt off the pages, making me ugly cry. But it was not all heartache and tears, it was perfectly balanced with humor and sweet and tender moments. And the steam, wowsers, so hot 🔥!! There was also plenty of other action too 😂 and nail biting suspense with them trying to hunt down an enemy hell bent on destroying them. Loved that each character was given equal representation and provided different aspects of their relationship; different couplings and all together. The connection/relationship between each MC was different, as to be expected with different personalities (no boring cut and paste), but the connections were so intertwined that it further strengthened the bond between all of them. "They were creating a flower together, each petal different than the last but no less important for the beauty of it as a whole". It was bittersweet to read this final book but the MCs really earned and deserved their HEA. Also, I'm really hoping that it's not the last I hear about them. There are some side characters that their story must be told!! And by some I mean all of them 😂 Note: this is the 3rd book in the series Chain Reaction and must be read in order. But don't worry, each book is a 5 🌟 read
I don’t know what to say about this book. It’s the final in the Chain Reaction series, one of my all-time favorite series and it’s a bit bittersweet. I don’t want to let these characters go, but I know they deserve the hard-fought HEA they end up with.
Aurora Crane is truly a beautifully talented author. She knows how to tell a story, and does it well. Not only that, she knows how to write about love. The love this author has for these characters is palpable throughout the series, but especially in this book. The love the characters have for one another leaps off the pages and it leaves you breathless.
I don’t know how to explain this book without giving spoilers. It’s such a…lovely book, told with a lot of heart. There’s danger, suspense, and heart-in-your-throat moments, but the core of it is a love story between five men who maybe shouldn’t work together, but somehow find their way to one another. It’s a labor of love and one that makes my heart soar with the amount of FEELINGS in it.
First, we have Peyton, sweet Peyton, who’s been to hell and back. He’s an ex-spec ops sniper and the things he saw and did in combat hurt him. He thinks he’s beyond repair, beyond saving, when in truth, he just needs love and understanding and for someone to see him. Not only that, he needs to take a chance on himself and prove that he is more than what he was turned into. It’s a deep dive into the psyche of someone who’s been in the military and it’s done so beautifully. It forces us to confront the way we perceive ourselves. It cut me deep in many places because while I may have never stood in Peyton’s shoes, the PTSD he experienced is real and raw and I felt it down to my very soul.
Jericho is another character we get to take a deeper look into over the course of the book. We haven’t spent as much time with him as we have with the other characters, but that’s understandable. We’ve only just met him in Reactant, and there was enough going on in that book that diving deep into who Jericho is wasn’t the priority. That’s not the case in this book. Jericho does many things that scare him in order to show not only the four men he’s falling so hard and fast for, but himself, that he is in this. He’s my favorite character in this book. Sebastian is my favorite of the five, but in this book Jericho owns my heart. He’s the ultimate chameleon, and maybe that makes some people nervous, but it allows him to adapt and take in a situation and figure out how to be what and who each of the other MCs needs at that time. It’s an impressive skill and shows that Jericho isn’t here just because the author wanted it, but because he’s needed. He fits with the other four so perfectly.
Will is a pure ray of sunshine and he both has and hasn’t changed from the beginning. He’s always been the breath of fresh air that the others need, but that isn’t to say he didn’t change and grow at the same time. His need to love and be loved is strong and my heart broke over and over for him in the previous books when he worried he wasn’t enough, that he was just some consolation prize. Here, we get to see Will have love and be loved in all the ways he deserves. It’s beautiful and touching and I loved it. Not only that, we get to see him being a BAMF and THAT is something I needed to see. Because Will is soft and amazing but he can also kick butt which is hot.
Sebastian is my salty baby and I love him. In this book we see him go through a lot. He’s still sarcastic and drinks way too much coffee than is probably healthy, but he’s also surrounded by the one thing he needs the most: Family. Seb is almost the catalyst to this entire group as he’s Quinn’s second chance, Will and Peyton picked him up at a bar, and Jericho was tasked to guard him, but he’s so much more than that. He’s a man who needs love like he needs air to breathe, he’s just so afraid of being let down once more that it’s hard for him to trust he deserves it. He breaks my heart in so many ways and there’s a reason he’s my favorite. Watching him love and accept love was just…beautiful.
Quinn broke my heart in this book. He’s such a pillar of strength, has the patience of a saint, and is…perfect. He’s not of course, he’s human and there’s enough human fallacies in this book to show how not-perfect and actual human he is. He is…perfect because his flaws and cracks are shown. The author did a brilliant job bringing out the emotions and I sobbed during a certain part because Quinn just broke my heart in the most visceral of ways.
This book is one big book of feelings. Yes, the suspense is there and it kills me for a bit because the author knows how to set the scene and make your heart quiver, but there’s a lot of feeling, too. It’s soft in all the right places and so freaking intimate. Is it as sex heavy as we’re used to from this author? No. But that’s what makes it perfect. I love the sex, I love the way the author is able to turn the dial up to a hundred and have us sweating with how into each other the characters are, but I also love the way she turned the tables and made this book so…I think quiet is the correct word. It’s sexy and intimate in a quiet and vulnerable way none of these characters have ever had before and it’s so freaking beautiful. It should be illegal to make me cry as much as this book did.
When you pick this series up, you think you know what you’re getting into. You don’t. This is a journey of love and the five men who go through hell and back in order to defy all expectations so they can live and love on their terms. And I don’t think any other series can measure up to the explosion of emotion we get, not only from this book but all three. There’s an evolution from one book to the next, showing just how hard the author worked to tell this story from start to finish. I’ve read all but one of the books this author currently has published, and I can easily say this is the BEST book she has written. If there’s the perfect way to end a series, this author found it.
Where do I start with this series?! This book is bitter sweet for me. I am so hopelessly in love with each of these men, especially the amazing Will, and reading this story as the last in the trilogy was a strange experience. I wanted to rush it to see what the outcome is, but I also wanted to savior it and not miss a single word.
The entire series is special. We go on a journey with each of the main characters, then as the group as as a whole. Poly is a niche genre that many authors are afraid to write and even more readers are afraid to read. Aurora Crane does an outstanding job of not only writing compelling characters and stories but writing poly romance in a way that is heart warming and soul cleansing.
I am being deliberately vague about the actual story because spoilers are just rubbish and I think you should read the story to find out the outcome. Read the entire series for the humour, snark, sass, cuteness and the ultra hot, sexy men. I am off to sit in and corner and be sad the series is done. Although, I do have it on good authority that this isn't the last we've seen of these men! :)
What an epic conclusion to the series. This book is all about five men who try to fit with each other. I can tell you it is hawt with a capital H. You do need to read the first two books in the series due to the overlaying story. We get to see more of Hunter and Riley as they all work together to figure out who is behind everything and how to stop them. Loved their dynamics and how they learned to communicate their feelings. I loved this series and highly recommend. Great world building, dry high heat and chemistry all around.
Argh, I loved this book! Everything's nicely wrapped up and our boys get their HEA... but not before they really go through it. As usual, I love the dynamics between the five of them (Will is still my fave, sorry not sorry), and especially Jericho and Peyton's growth in this one. It's tense, it's exciting, and there's a strip poker scene in the middle that is just *chef's kiss*.
Absolutely LIVING for the idea of some spin-off stories considering all that comes to light; I really hope this isn't the end we see of this world!
This entire series was so good! It had suspense, great romance and amazing characters. During the books you really get to know all of them and how they fit together. I really liked reading their happily ever after after all they've been through (also in this last book). And some parts were really hot!
There's intrigue, a kidnapping, general mayhem and a happy ending. I'll miss the guys. I hope to see them again soon, or at least as supporting characters in other spin offs.
A great end to these boys finding there hea. More drama, more secrets revealed but all to get these boys to open up and be vulnerable with each other. So good!
Everything I was expecting book three to be when I read book two. The beginning of the book focuses on, as the title implies, cohesion between the five boys as they try to figure themselves out as partners-in-love. The external conflict is there in the background and then explodes in around 60% of the way into the book and we get to spend quite the time with it, which made me happy. They end up all working together (not just the lovebirds, but Hunter and his group, Peyton's old ops team, and Will's current team) to race against time and succeed against the big bad. Having all of them come in and bringing in all of their teams just made my heart so incredibly happy. It's not an easy task, to write scenes with so many characters in them, yet Aurora Crane simply nails it over and over again. I adored this book!
Knowing what I know now about this book, would I still read it if I went back in time? Absolutely!
See below for the four criteria I use to decide whether and when to read a book
CHARACTERS: The characters carry this book! Each of the five boys has their own idiosyncrasies that brings them together so beautifully. We see them all together, and also each of the moments individually between different pairings as they learn to be a cohesive unit. Some of the scenes are incredibly touching, as well. I appreciate that none of them is spared from having vulnerabilities despite how unbelievably competent and powerful they all are. It's not the most common thing to find in stories and I utterly adore it. They get their chances to shine and grow individually as well. It's honestly impossible to have a favorite!
PLOT: Following the rest of the series, the criminal activities that have been dogging them since the first book are finally reconciled here. They race against time to figure out who is targeting them and attempt to find and stop them before any of them are hurt. While that doesn't happen, the big guns (literally and figuratively) are called out when the danger explodes around them and we find a race against time for them to succeed. Which, they do. In the end, they find both resolution in their safety, as well as resolution in their relationship as five, relationships in pairs, and even individual healing. The ending was a bit longer which allowed us to wrap up all of the final pieces and it was a joy to read.
EMOTIONAL INTENSITY: There is no good/bad here. Sometimes I just want a low-investment entertainment read whereas other times a high-stakes 'I need a therapist to recover' is what I need.
3/5: medium. I fully expected that despite how high the stakes are, they'd figure it out and succeed. But of course I'm emotionally connected to them now and wanted to spend my time in their orbit!
CATHARTIC FULFILLMENT: Is the emotional journey worth it? Do I finish this book feeling that I've crested the wave of the climactic moment and everything has been settled, leaving me settled and fulfilled?
90%. Based on the stakes that were set up and building, I personally believed that the final outcome of the climactic event was not as difficult and with lasting effects as I would have expected. But am I happy with how things turned out? Absolutely. And I love that we got to spend time with them at the end and see more of the healing process than I normally find in books!
This book fulfilled all my expectations, and then some, for the long-awaited finale of this trilogy. The story does not work as a stand-alone; both the relationship arc(s) and external plot build on what has come before. The author has referred to this novel as “The Big Book of Feelings,” which is accurate on two fronts. The book is wonderfully chonky, as expected when balancing a five-way relationship between strong personalities, though the pacing never suffers for it as the story dumps us right into the deep end of the continuing storylines. The story opens with Jericho, our relative newcomer to the tangled bonds previously shared by Quinn, Sebastian, Peyton, and Will even before the first book, as he faces problems on multiple fronts—but the scariest might be his own emotions.
In fact, everyone struggles with emotions. What these five men are creating is still a new and fragile thing, and each of them comes with past personal and relationship demons that will eventually need to be dealt with. These range from new (whether Jericho is as committed to the rest of the men as they are to each other), to relatively recent (Peyton’s unacknowledged post-traumatic stress disorder from his military service), to ancient history that is once again new (continuing fallout from the destruction of Quinn and Sebastian’s original relationship). On the surface, this doesn’t feel like a recipe for success with an already complicated and nontraditional romance.
However, these obstacles to the overall romance arc are seamlessly interwoven into the external plotline, which is as frustrating and disjointed as any realistic crime mystery. As the intense external plot escalates, rather than ripping them apart, the events tighten the bonds between these men who all fit together in unique ways. Their flirting is hotter than entire sex scenes I’ve read in other books, and even the surface-level moments in the various permutations of their interactions (steamy or otherwise) contain levels of subtext that show how they attempt to build trust with each other, which is just as important to a happily ever after as love. Without trust, the eventual resolution of the lingering drama between Quinn and Sebastian would not have been possible; instead, it is incredibly satisfying and shows how much both men have grown since that point in their lives. Trust also leads directly to how they each support each other during the book’s dark moments and beyond, all of which kept me completely invested even when the nature of a romance story means everything will turn out alright in the end.
I’d be more upset about this being the final book in the trilogy, but Crane surrounds our heroes with dynamic and well-developed secondary characters. Some are relevant to the plot, while others simply flesh out the lives of the main characters, but I never felt overwhelmed by the size of the cast (though I am still laughing at how I thought “Greer” was a name accidentally used twice in book 1). While I already know I plan to re-read this trilogy back-to-back to better appreciate the complicated nuances, I also look forward to future glimpses of this amazing quintet as we explore more stories in this unique contemporary shared-world setting.
Disclaimer: I received a digital review copy of this book from the author.
Cohesion is the third book in Aurora Crane’s Chain Reaction series and these books definitely need to be read in order, as both the romantic and suspense plots carry across the trilogy. On the suspense end, things continue to be a problem, as someone thinks Sebastian has information and wants to silence him. Both law enforcement and the more off-the-grid investigation from Jericho and his team haven’t had any luck tracking him down, so the threat looms for much of the story. Not much really happens with this part of the plot for the first half of the book, however, which felt like too long to wait, given this is a 450+ page book. That is a lot of pages for not much plot advancement. However, when things do heat up, they do in a big way.
The two places I struggled with this story the most were the length and the extensive cast of characters. There are just SO many side characters here, all interconnected in a million ways. Everyone they encounter seems to be related to, working with, or romantically involved with someone else (or 3 or 4 someone elses). So it takes a lot of focus to try to not only remember who all these people are, but also how they connect to everyone else.
I'll be honest and say that while I loved the first book with the first four men, Peyton, Will, Quinn, and Sebastian, I did struggle a bit on the second book when Jericho was brought into the picture.
However, this book definitely pulls all 5 men in together very well. I loved how they each found a way to just fit. They all have their individual struggles, and some are closer to others, but they make it work, and it's sooooo good!!!
❤️ "None of them were perfect. It’s what made each of them special and why they all fit together. Their missing pieces slotted together to make a whole. That wouldn’t work if they all had smooth, round edges." ❤️
The overall story arc is a continuous thread thru all 3 books, and I greatly enjoyed the intrigue and mystery. Of course, the love between all the men is scorching hot, and so the spicy scenes are definitely 🔥🔥🔥 but there is also so much sweetness and those little "aww" moments too that pull it altogether.
I have to say I love Will. He might just be my favorite...lol!!
❤️ "Weeks ago, Will had said, “We’re just waiting for you.” He’d been wrong. Quinn had been waiting for them.
Five words. Five men. A pentagon. Symmetry. Perfection." ❤️
Payton, Will, Quinn, Sebastian, and Jericho - what an amazing journey this has been over the series! An absolute standout poly read, truly unique and beautifully written. I’ve really grown attached to these characters so it is pretty wonderful that they get a satisfying conclusion with Cohesion. Giving five guys their due within a relationship is a pretty epic challenge, I would think. I liked how distinct the characters are and how well developed their personalities become, which helped make their dynamic work for me. I also enjoyed seeing that they are still a work in progress, still learning how they can all fit together. And, man is there is some epic steam in their story! I loved getting some more history of the characters past, as it added an authentic emotional element to the story. This is written with such skill, skill at building the characters, skill at sustaining the tension across three books, at letting us see the characters struggle and grow. I also really enjoyed the mystery side of the plot and loved seeing how the author pulls everything together for this final book, it’s twisty and compelling. Loved it, a great way to end things excellent series.
I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.
Here we go, we will finally find out in this book who is responsible for the mayhem that wreaked havoc on the lives of our guys … but ultimately also brought them together. This is an epic finish to the Chain Reaction series (which should be read in order), they definitely became some of my favorite poly books. I know it’s a lot when you think about 5 men being together but somehow it works … they are like puzzle pieces, remarkably different but fit together perfectly. The guys still questioning Jericho’s intentions, whether he is all in with them or not. On the surface, they just met but Jer already knew more about these 4 guys than they could even guess. And little do they know he is trying to make himself a target to keep all of them safe … even if Jer himself is still questioning whether he fits into their life in the long run. Just as with the previous books, I absolutely adored their domestic scenes, those are the ones where their love truly shines. And yes, they still have their filthy fun as well, adding Jericho to their group only amped up the heat a few hundred times over. All of their professional and personal lives are so intertwined it puts even more people into danger around them … this complicated investigation was a hell of a ride. It’s ridiculously endearing to see how much these men adore each other, how they are willing to flay themselves open to truly communicate so they can have a future together … if only someone would not try to prevent that. I loved how they were still unearthing their past pain, joy, secrets, and connections in this book too, getting all of them closer and closer still. I’m officially an Aurora fan and these books surely be on my reread list for good!
MMMMM Murder Mystery Action Packed Found Family Vibes Super Steamy
I liked the first two books. I read them when they had both been already released. This time I waited for the release and I should have read the first two beforehand. I didn’t know half of the characters except the main ones. So it was constantly like ‚wgo was Riley again?‘ oh the brother. ‚What happened with Riley and seb?‘ oh yeah now I remember. The relationship felt a little unbalanced at times tbh. There is this great second hand love story between seb and Quinn, the best friends to lovers between will and peyton, the seemingly obedient sided love turned into love between Quinn and peyton. And now they added Jericho and it felt between some couples was more than between others. Also the PTSD thing was solved with the purchase of a dog 🤨 Will has no problem at all. Jericho was suddenly like I love you all, everything was fine. Quinn was just not jealous anymore. And seb didn’t have trauma at all.
It was too easy and I think there should have been one more book to dove everything properly.
This is the third and final book in the Chain Romance series. It is definitely not a standalone. You really must read the series in order. This is an action packed story. It continues on from the previous book and all the guys are trying to learn how to be together. The story is sweet but it has lots of spice. Then there is the problem of the mystery and how to stop the bad guys. I liked how each individual coupling was addressed. It wasn't all the guys all the time. You really got a chance to see how their respective relationships were growing. I was sad to see it over. I still want to know what happens to Hunter. The book is well written and easy to read. It has a happy ending but you have a lot of ups and downs to get through before you get there. You will enjoy the journey. I really enjoyed it.
I received a complementary advanced review copy from the author and I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Jericho believes he's self-sufficient, Quinn mourns a past loss, Will longs to be someone's everything, Peyton battles his inner demons, and Sebastian guards his heart against further pain. These five men unexpectedly find a sense of completeness when they come together, hinting at a shared love story. However, their newfound happiness is threatened by a man intent on harming them. They must unite to fight for their future together. When a crisis strikes and their bond is tested, they must discover if their unexpected love is strong enough to keep them united and safe.
I enjoyed this story with the five men fighting against their mystery foe as well as fighting for their combined love. There were lots of danger, drama and heightened emotions as everything came to a head and they had to make some big decisions. Thankfully there was a hard earned HEA at the end. Easy to read, feel and understand. This was an MMMMM story with mature content.
I was so happy we got so many more pages with all of these guys! They are each so beautifully written. I feel like I know every little insecurity and desire they have individually and as a group in the relationship. I honestly love them all. Their imperfections were what connected me too them. I have a big soft spot for Peyton and how mentally strong he really is as tries to overcome his own past demons to be there and present with support and love for the others. Will's positive vibes kept me smiling for them all. Loved that Sebastian is still Sebastion! Sarcastic and always ready for a drink. Quinn is ever assertive, and we get to know our new sweetheart Jericho more. The unique romance is blended perfectly with the suspense story. I would love to visit these guys down the road but still a perfectly wrapped story.
Almost a year has gone by since I read book 2. I thought I would be lost, that I forgot the previous stories. That was not the case. It all came back to me. It is a long story 400+ pages. However, I ate up all the pages I couldn't get enough.
In this, the final story, we learn more of these men's back stories. I did shed a tear or two. As much as everyone loves each other, there is still banter, and it is so funny. There is nail biting action and a lot of suspense.
I love love love this book. The whole series is fabulous. It's funny, serious, and action-packed. Just when I think one is my favorite character, another goes and does something to make them my favorite.
I totally have a book hangover. I am sad this series is over. I hope we get to revisit these characters. These books must be read in order. With book 3 having a HEA.
Liked the books in this series and the other related follow up stories. Definitely worth reading these and the followups. Great characters and I enjoyed that they were all well described and developed. We get to see all relationships form, develop and grow.
What's next? Are there plans for a book or better yet a series for Rohan to be proven innocent and get out of prison to find his man/men and happiness ? Similar character and relationships development? He's innocent so he has to get free and soon! There must be a story there on how he was framed and convicted and why? Done to cover what and whom? How is he doing in prison? maybe he has help form somebody else also innocent, or a guard or somebody under cover, or more somebodies? How has he changed? What challenges does he have to go through in prison to survive and get out and back outside to recover and trust again?
It would be great to get a series to answer all the above and more!
What an ending to this series..... but I have questions.... they are to do with side characters... I want Hunter to have his own book... I thought there was a Hunter and Carter chance? Maybe? Tjere has to be a couple of books that lead from this story
Anyways getting back to our 5 main characters. I loved this story, how each of them have individual personalities, bringing something unique and the individual relationships within the main relationship unit. The poker game was sooooo hot.. dont think Ill play poker again without that scene running through my head. I adored that Seb knew his men would come for him regardless, and that he needed to stay strong.
This is the third and final book in a series (a gentle note that you’ll want to start at the beginning, if you haven’t already). There are so many vibrant personalities in play: Quinn, Sebastian, Will, Payton and Jericho are each deeply compelling in their own ways, and their story here weaves together sweetness and heat (and intrigue and crime, of course). I’ll avoid any plot details as they deserve to be experienced in their own right, but there’s a solid balance of relationship building and external drama here, and fans of the series will find an epically fitting conclusion in these pages.

Very sad to see the end, but what a series. You've got an intriguing and suspenseful overarching storyline, and then you've got the developing relationship between Will, Peyton, Quinn, Sebastian and Jericho. The guys are 🔥🔥🔥, but also very tender and loving, kinda beautiful to watch/read. Lots of character turmoil in this book as the overarching storyline comes to a head. Very bittersweet ending, but I'm hoping that some (all) of the side characters get their own books and maybe then we can have some cameos of the guys 👏

Five different men - 5 different ways to love - 5 lethal weapons. /yes, that includes Seb because excellent defence lawyer is a high level of lethality too/ and combined their strengths are unstoppable force. Cohesion is emotionally very heavy loaded story. While we got bits and pieces of Quinn, Seb, Peyton, Will and Jericho's lives in the previous books, here every emotion, every feeling, every wound of the soul were wide opened and their impact amplified. It's a story about healing, trust and love - real, genuine, cutting to the bone, raw, terrifying but oh, so inescapable! I can’t believe this is the end of the road and the last book in this highly addictive, absolutely outstanding and unbelievably wild, unpredictable, twisted ride to the Great unknown. It's also a stellar example that polyamorous romance shouldn't be associated with only smut, spice and no plot. Cohesion, Reactant and Catalyst will always have a special place in my reading memory. And authors like Aurora are the reason I enjoy the complexity and depth of poly relationships, represented in books in all of their messy, irresistible, multilayered chaos.
This series was so so good! This book was the best of the three, but you must read in order to understand & get the most out of the story. These men, omg, hot, romantic, possessive, all-in, sweet, snarky, brave, flawed - real. The evolving relationship (collective and separate) is amazing to witness. Each man brings something unique, various history between them, good and bad, and it all comes together in this cohesive unit. They suffered & struggled to get there, and omg this book has its emotionally raw moments! I cried & was on the edge of my seat, laughed til I cried, and worried over them - this book really does have it all.
