Minecraft – What’s it all about?
A sandbox construction game originally conjured up by Markus Persson, the founder of Mojang AB in the year 2011; Minecraft is a virtual reality game that involves exactly what the title states, mining. A game that revolves around the disintegration and building of blocks, it’s the survival of the fittest for the main protagonist who has to ward of nocturnal monsters.
All about building and eliminating blocks, it invokes a three dimensional environment; the game allows the players to emulate certain avatars that can be bifurcated into two separate modes; creative and survival. If you’re interested in creating structures from scratch, then creative mode is your best bet. However, if you have an adventurous streak then survival mode is your preferred route which comes with blood gurgling monsters who want to bit by bit, eat and distort you one pixel at a time.
Originally built for single and multiple players, this fun fueled game can be played for free as well. Minecraft Edition was an exclusively released for educational purposes. This edition is a step up and is intended as an educational tool for novice programmers.
