The epic saga of Fintan Reilly and the school at Area 51 comes to a stunning conclusion. Having discovered a second city, hidden under Japan, events have begun to spin out of control. With the Navajo ready for war, the government ready to intervene, and the warning from Ayako, that his actions could lead to the end of the world, Fintan has a difficult road before him. With his friends at his side he must stand up and take control of the situation. There are always options - he just needs to find them. And maybe, just maybe, Nizhoni is still alive and trapped in that city. Ending the saga that began with 'The Fourth World' and continued with 'The Million Year Journey', The Legend of the Locust is science fiction on an epic scale. From the opening pages to the dramatic conclusion, it's a story you won't forget!
Laurence Moroney is the author of more books than he’s prepared to admit. After several best selling programming books, his first Young Adult novel “The Fourth World” became a #1 book on Amazon Kindle, spawned two sequels “The Million Year Journey” and “The Legend of the Locust”, and is currently being shopped around studios for a potential movie. “Space Cadets” is his latest, a cutting edge science fiction novel, based on real science that starts a new series charting out humanity’s course to the stars. He’s presently working on the sequel “The Quiet World”, which he hopes to finish in 2015. For his day job, Laurence works as a Developer Advocate for Google, where he is constantly counting his blessings for being part of the best workplace in the world…
Wasn't expecting to need Kleenex. That wad some ending for the series. Contain becomes quite the young man. Wow we got to grow up and learn his wisdom along side him.
This is the final book in the series. The first one was fairly good. The second one was quite good. This one goes beyond the second. It is nothing short of fantastic. All of the characters are very real. The books deal with issues of prejudice, hate and the fact that we should be one people united, not one people divided over loads of things that are not that majorly important.
In this one the enemy aliens have one goal; destroy the Earth and kill every single human being on it. Opposing them is a mix of adults and youngsters from the training program, fighting together in a battle that is a desperate last stand in the finest traditions of such battles. The book also shows what we could be if we were willing to set aside petty disagreements.
The series is highly excellent and is one of the few series that I would place on my must read list.
