Read as a reference/inspiration while writing a romance novel during NaNoWriMo. Some good phrases, some not so good ones. The ones with explanations were interesting, but there was nothing truly new or earth shattering. Though, it did serve as fodder for the imagination and inspiration for new and unusual dialogue.

I was reading this to my two girlfriends. We were on nude beach and having amazing five days holiday and we enjoy each other's company so much because us three, we have been together for 20 years. They are my base. Book is very mild and written for beginners, and it was hysterical reading this out loud and nodding and dissing and drinking and smoking and swimming.

This book is for folks who are wanting to put their toes ( I mean voices) into a new naughty thing. It is very gentle in bringing the idea up for the person reading and their partner etc.... Mild, for beginners.

I read this for a very specific reason that actually has nothing to do with a partner or wanting to talk dirty in bed. It definitely doesn't fit what I was reading it for. However, that doesn't mean it's useless. There's some good pointers in here for people who may be shy or just don't know where to start. Maybe even reading it as a couple might help. The reason it got three stars from me was because some of it was just absolutely ridiculous and I got a mental image of trying to say that to someone. If someone said those things to me? Mood killer.
It may not have been for me, but it's still worth taking a look at if you're looking for a little help.

Nothing hardcore here
I suppose this was meant to be a prime the pump starter list. It is so very tame. Worst of all though it is stereotypically hetero normative. Nothing creative, just typical sentences you might hear in an American movie. I hope that the list works well for someone as a beginning exercise.

meh.
I suppose it’s a good start if you’ve never talked dirty and have no imagination yourself but it’s all really tame, basic stuff.
There’s much better options. I bought 5 different books in total and the one by Gemma Charles was the best by far.

Excellent starters for men and women
This was well worth the few bucks. It starts off light and playful, and gets more intense. I have memorized a few that I'll definitely use. To the author: I would buy a women's only version! But for now it's nice having the men's lines, too, so I can tell him what to say to me to loosen him up.

Good
It was okay. No surprises. The explanation of why certain words/phrases are used and when and the effect was excellent. Some of the examples were very similar. The phrases could have been combined down to100 and that would have been better in my opinion.

I would prefer one for only men and one for only women..... yes there would be some cross over but I think that would be more useful as it seemed like half the example didn't apply to me.
