3:AM Kisses was so dumb… How dumb is it?!?? Well There’s no other word I can use to describe how I felt about it. I seriously rather be audio waterboarded by Pink’s get this party started than ever have to experience this again. I really hate hating books because I know how much hard work goes into them and how much effort goes into getting them published… but I still stand behind my statement. This book was just not for me. The fact that it is one of the most cliche things ever written really isn’t helping its case either. I should have known right away this book wasn’t for me when I was first introduced to Baya and her wardrobe malfunction… That happens on a page like I don’t know two and that’s really when my rage began.
Baya is just lame. She’s one of those characters that wants to be strong and independent but yet can’t handle anything alone. Example: she has an issue with her roommate and instead of being an adult and talking to the girl storms out to find big brother then avoids the girl. That is just 1 of the 100 examples of the childish decisions she makes. Baya is nineteen but if she didn't tell me, I'd have thought her brother's assessment of 13 was closer to the mark.Then there’s Bryson, who yes I called Dyson the whole time, is a real piece of work. First off if you know me then you know I love a good slutty guy in a book… But even I have a line drawn where it goes from promiscuous to downright disgusting… And our boy Dyson is way beyond the point of no return. The thing he and his frat brothers do that really set me off was that they keep a wall of tally marks (they each have their own section to keep score) of how many hook ups they have. Baya even states that Dyson is hitting triple digits… TRIPLE DIGITS!!! So that statement already had me wanting to peel my skin off. But, to make matters worse with them, the way Baya explains situations she’s in are written very poorly. I don’t think you should use food to describe someone's body parts (if you pick up what I’m putting down). The thing that really had me choking on my own vom was when she said she thought it was going to impale her and come shooting out of her mouth… YES THIS IS ACTUALLY SAID.
I have no clue besides looks wise why these two are even attracted to each other.

“double dog dare you” is an “inside joke” but by the end of the book I had heard that sentence so many times I would rather listen to nails on a chalkboard… Kid you not when I got to the end of the book and the last sentence in it was “I double dog dare you” I almost ran out into traffic! There’s only one real sub character to cover and that’s her brother Cole. Who I bet you can already guess, I also hated. He was also a man troll and lord helped this poor boy because he couldn't seem to keep his “gift” in his pants for two seconds!!! PLEASE PUT IT AWAY FOR THE FIVE MINUTES YOUR SISTER IS PRESENT!
As far as the story line goes just take every cliche thing from every other YA/NA book you’ve read in the last five years and throw them all together and you will get 3:AM Kisses. I predicted what this book was going to be 25 pages in… “I’m guessing our leading lady is the shy sheltered good girl who will turn from a lady on the streets to a freak in the sheets… And he is the slutty rich boy from the wrong side of the tracks with a dark past who will be swept off his feet by this special snowflake of a lady”… That’s a direct quote from my goodreads progress page, and let’s just say I nailed it. Even the dark twisted past is exactly what you think it is. There is no wham bam thank you mam surprising moments. The forbidden love is so not that juicy, the big surprises are things you will see coming, events you are hoping will be awesome have little sizzle to them, and the same goes for the smutty sections. This book was just so ridiculous thrown into one book. My biggest question however was WHEN THE HELL DO THESE KIDS GO TO CLASS???

The words that come to mind when reading this book are "TOO MUCH" and "RIDICULOUS". The whole time I was reading this I was thinking, "is this some kind of joke?!". This book was filled with raging hormones and the people didn't feel real at all. Everything was superficial. I couldn't connect with any of the characters and the plot was boring. Plus, Baya and her brother's relationship was really weird to me too. I mean, could he NOT keep it in his pants for TWO seconds while she was around?! I was really disgusted by him. And every other sentence in this book had blatant innuendos, not-so-witty puns, and more uses of the many words for "peepees" and "vajayjays" than I care to think about it. My head hurts from the amount of eye-rolling I did while reading this book. I was honestly thisclose to DNF, and this book was really ALMOST worth that honor. The only good thing about this one was that I breezed through it, and that's because there wasn't anything to this book.

How could you forget a chick that accidentally let her girls out to say “Hi”? Baya’s day is turning out to be nothing like she has planned, all she wanted to do was start her college life stepping out of the nerd girl mold her brother so dutifully put her in, but now that her girls made an appearance she has a hottie, shadowing her around trying to see if there was more to her girl’s invitation, sucks for him that Bry has player manwhore written all over him.
Baya’s day just gets even better when her new roomie decided to start her porn career in their room, finding that the only thing they have in common is her roomie's girls are just as friendly as her's but then again so is the every other part of her body.
To top it all off, she finds out that Bry and her brother Cole are roomies and that her brother holds the title of Mr. Manwhore four years strong. Cole is her older-egotistical-clearly-hypocritical-over-protective brother who still thinks of her as a little kid
Thus starts this wonderful story, a brother’s best friend, a room she can’t even sleep in unless she wants to be a supporting actress in the leading campus porno, a brother who thinks she still shits rainbow and daisies and sexual frustration between two people that leave you rooting for them the all the way. Bry is a great guy, guilty of overindulging on willing females to forget the past, thinking he doesn’t deserve anything better in his life. He can’t help but take Baya under his protective wing and gets her a job at the family bar where they can’t help but sneak in those 3AM Kisses.
Totally enjoyed this read, it was fun and heartfelt, there were little twist plots here and there, but nothing overly angsty. There were just a few things that annoyed me, like how she couldn’t stand up to her brother, because as much as he loved her he was a freakin jerk, parading girls in and out of his room at all hours of the day at the same time protecting her virginity like it was the Holy Grail. Bry was a sweet surprise, I was expecting egotistical-jerk, but he turned out to be a a great mix of sweet and naughty. Baya was a trip, she was funny and sweet and was innocently sexy in her own right.
Definitely will be reading more from this Author :) There is more to this series but it will be different leads, so no cliff hanger.

I downloaded this as a freebie a long time ago, and eventually deleted it from my Kindle (but not from my account) because I knew I was probably never going to read it. Then other books in the series started popping up for free, and I downloaded them too because I have no self-control. I started a collection of sorts, and I basically forced other people in my romance group to download them as well. Eventually Sarah (click for her much shorter review) and I decided to do a buddy read, even thought I was 99.5% certain I would hate this.
I totally did. I hated this.
It was so bad. It was just what you'd expect from cookie-cutter New Adult: two beautiful people meet (at college) and are attracted to each other, but they can't be together for really specific, totally unrealistic reasons. But something about this book was off, even for New Adult, and it didn't take long to pinpoint the reasons.
1) The overly creative/bizarre verbs
a) A devilish grin rides low on his lips. (21)
b) Her lips curve a naughty smile as if she's having her way with me mentally, and my dick starts knocking for attention. I broaden my chest, trying to deflect my hard-on from launching into an all-out crisis with no relief in sight. (35)
c) She floats her glowing eyes to mine. (36)
d) I ride my gaze up her body, nice and slow, and my dick perks to attention. (43)
e) I glance up at him as his eyes pull along my features slowly with a strangled angst I can't quite categorize. (57)
f) I press out a sad smile. (70)
g) A dull laugh brews in my chest. (74)
h) Her tits melon out. (103)
There are so many more. I could literally list the entire alphabet's worth of examples and then some, and I only made it to page 132.
2) The misused prepositions
a) She bites over her cherry-stained lips. (39)
b) He frowns into her. (44)
c) I lean in and smolder into her. (70)
3. The over-the-top misogyny and slut-shaming
Every woman who is NOT the heroine wears too much makeup, has too-tan skin or brassy hair, clothes that are too skimpy, and are bimbos, skanks, and sluts for enjoying casual sex. They are rude or condescending to the heroine. Oh, there are the exceptions, such as the friends the heroine makes, who are conveniently connected to the hero yet present no competition despite their beauty: "Laney is hot in her own right, but she's not for me." (43) Funny thing is the heroine exhibits every single one of the traits that are so despised in the other women: she puts on lots of makeup to attract the hero, borrows skimpy clothes from her roommate, has a healthy sex drive, and acts catty as hell. BUT SHE IS AN ANGEL. It's honestly disgusting, and all the more so because this book drags tons of female characters through the dirt, not just one or two.
4. Bryson
a) He's got that vampire, werewolf appeal to him (24)
b) He will "draw the line at girls who give more blow job than a leaf blower" (32)
c) He has standards: "But she's not just some chick from Briggs I'm looking to bag, not some barfly ready and willing to drop in front of my Levi's, she's sweet—special—somebody's little sister." (41)
d) He reduces women to "the human equivalent of a paper chain. Something cheap you could throw away on a whim." (66)
f) His hard-on blooms in his jeans (73)
e) His eyes glow an eerie paper white as he lingers above me. (131)
5. Baya and Bryson
So these two meet and have instant attraction, thanks in part to Baya's malfunctioning tube top, which randomly flips down and bares her boobs. I've worn more than my fair share of tube tops, and this hasn't happened to me once. I'm guessing Baya has special boobs.
Anyway, they like each other and keep dropping hints. Everyone acts like it's a given they're getting together. They kiss for like three hours in a parking lot standing up. Except Baya has this hang-up that Bryson doesn't like her, and he's still hanging out with other girls for a while. He can't be with her (for DRAMATIC REASONS that are hinted at constantly but never explained in at least 132 pages), yet they still go hang out in secluded wooded areas, and he's always putting his arm around her. He invites Baya onto a boat and is then completely shocked that there are girls in G-strings onboard, despite the fact that he and Cole have an ongoing sex competition to see who can get the most tally marks and this is totally normal behavior for them.
6. The random bizarro phrases
a) "her eyes illuminate her face a lemony hazel" (79)
b) "Something about the blue oyster cult is really creeping me out." (111) PLEASE. YOU KNOW NOT OF WHAT YOU SPEAK.
c) "We're supposed to say 'underneath the sheets' after we read our fortunes" (124) Say whaaaaa? Everyone knows it's "in bed."
Aside from all this, the characters were so boring, and the plot (whatever it was) wasn't at all compelling. I hated this so much I ended up deleting all those other books from the series. They're still on my account, because Sarah says she might continue with the series, and I refuse to touch them without her to keep me company.

Read for the URR 2017 New Year's Reading Challenge prompt 'New Adult Romance'
14/9 - This was HORRENDOUS!!!!!!!!!! The worst book I've read in a very long time, possibly ever (definitely holds the record for most status updates - 100).I will write more when it's not bedtime.
Why is this right up there with the worst book in (my) living memory? Because of the abysmal writing, the endemic slut shaming of everyone who's not the heroine, the ridiculously clichéd man whore who is also the most hypocritical violently over-protective older brother, the over the top and confusing and even disgusting descriptions of the scenery, the heroine's weird fascination with her roommate's breasts and her decision to name them Thing One and Thing Two, and last but not least the WTF style euphemisms for vagina ('squeezebox', 'Pandora's Box', 'love canal', 'penis pocket') and penis ('joystick'). Also, a number of times I thought to myself "Oh, I think that's meant to be funny." but it really wasn't, actually every single attempt at humour fell flatter than a steamrolled pancake. The best 'joke' was on page 107 when Bryson thinks
'...then slowly rides her smouldering eyes toward mine.'
because that sounds like she's levitating on a pair of flaming eyeballs - I actually laughed at that one (although I don't think that was Moore's intention as this was meant to be a sexy scene).
I wrote a review's worth of status updates for this book, for further information I recommend reading them from #1 through to #100. Also, this was a buddy read with my buddy Heather - she may have saved her rant energy for her review whereas I expended most of it in the updates and now just want to be done with this book.

Because of the abysmal writing, the endemic slut shaming of everyone who's not the heroine, the ridiculously clichéd man whore who is also the most hypocritical violently over-protective older brother, the over the top and confusing and even disgusting descriptions of the scenery, the heroine's weird fascination with her roommate's breasts and her decision to name them Thing One and Thing Two, and last but not least the WTF style euphemisms for vagina ('squeezebox', 'Pandora's Box', 'love canal', 'penis pocket') and penis ('joystick'). Also, a number of times I thought to myself "Oh, I think that's meant to be funny." but it really wasn't, actually every single attempt at humour fell flatter than a steamrolled pancake. The best 'joke' was on page 107 when Bryson thinks
'...then slowly rides her smouldering eyes toward mine.'
because that sounds like she's levitating on a pair of flaming eyeballs - I actually laughed at that one (although I don't think that was Moore's intention as this was meant to be a sexy scene).
I wrote a review's worth of status updates for this book, for further information I recommend reading them from #1 through to #100. Also, this was a buddy read with my buddy Heather - she may have saved her rant energy for her review whereas I expended most of it in the updates and now just want to be done with this book.

It had the potential but there were some things that were hard to overlook.
Baya- college freshman, coming to the school her brother Cole already attends.
Cole- Baya's brother, he had no relevance in this book what so ever. I dont think he ever came up for air, sexing his way to a broken dick.
Bryson- adorable, man whore but totally a sweetheart. Best friend and room mate to Cole.
This started out good. Baya was excited about moving into her dorm. She met Bryson outside by accidentally flashing her boobies, he helped her move stuff into her room. Upon entering her room, she saw bodies moving. Her roomie was getting worked over by someone with a hairy ass. OK, so heres the deal with this roommate, Jeanie. Everytime Baya was in her dorm room, Jeanie was fucking someone, never stopped, never said hi. They never officially spoke or met for months. When they actually came face to face, Jeanie had no idea who she was. Doesnt that sound stupid?? Ya, it did to me too.
Cole, he was kind of the same. With his little sister around, he was fucking multiple bitches in is room, even when Baya was at his place. He was a highly inappropriate slut who wanted Baya to remain a virgin in a book club, ummm really?? He would come out of his room in his boxers after fucking, with Baya there, and the bitches come out of his room half dressed. He hardly came up for air. Didnt act like a brother at all to Baya. He was in this book and like Jeanie served NO purpose. When he did interact with her, he treated her like a baby. I couldnt fathom they were even related. Oh and by the way, they notched their walls with their conquests. Nice.

This book reminds me of Abbi Glines. She my queen for YA/NA romance. But Miss Moore brings more tamer side of NA romance. I do enjoy this book OK. But I found the wording can be edit better. With more layers and characters development.

DNF'd at ~45%
Nope. I don't need this in my life.
I love an I'm-in-love-with-my-brother's-best-friend trope (see my anticipation for 99 Percent Mine) but there were so many things wrong with this book.
#1: The first pages introduce Baya and Bryson. We're going to start with Bryson because... I feel like it. The dude was introduced and my thought was "this tool can't be the love interest, right? This is just to show that Baya is a special virgin snowflake that everyone with a penis is interested... right?" Lo and behold, Bryson whatever-the-fuck-his-last-name-is: a jackass frat boy who is awfully friendly and stalkery to the freshman girl he's just seen, and then randomly saw her tits for some reason.
Now remember, this is just the first impression. I read to somewhere around 45%. I gave him a fair chance.
I think around 10% I knew this was a mistake, but I was driving from West Virginia to Michigan and listening to the audiobook so I was trying to give it a chance to redeem itself. Baya wants to find her brother who is also going to the same school. Turns out (SURPRISE!) Bryson is her brother's roommate and new bff. And they are both gross.
She gets to their place and finds these notches on their doors. You definitely guess it before Baya (we'll get to her in a minute), because those notches represent how many girls each has fucked. And we're talking ROWS AND ROWS of tally marks. These guys are the worst of the worst frat boys and I have zero time for any of their shit.
#2: Now there's Baya. The beautiful virgin snowflake I mentioned. I do not get her. She is simultaneously obsessed with having sex for the first time, and a complete and total prude AND slut-shamer. She's so completely dumb it goes beyond naive. She's also not written very consistently. One minute she's a nervous freshman, the next she's at a party going up to a jock to flirt, the next she's stumbling through putting makeup on to impress her brother's friend? And how does her roommate who has sex with a different guy every day end up a whore, but her brother and Bryson are just misbehaving boys with too much testosterone?? God I hated her.
#3: INSTA-LOVE! I hate it. That's all I really need to say on the matter.
So yeah. I'm not going to put myself through any of the rest of this. It's not worth the possibility of my eyeballs getting stuck in the back of my head permanently.

1 star - I can't recommend
So I don't do this very often - give one star with no recommendation. I just couldn't find much to like about this one.
Baya is nineteen but if she didn't tell me, I'd have thought her brothers assessment of 13 was closer to the mark. She's innocent and naive and I could accept that but she thinks in ridiculous sexual innuendo. Her reference to her "girl parts" was frequent and colorful. She named her roommates boobs! She so did. Thing one and thing two, in case you were wondering.
She starts out holding her own against the bad boy, Bryson but before long she's throwing herself at him and asking for kisses. I just couldn't deal with it.
Speaking of dealing with things, Baya's brother Cole was really hard to deal with. He has a line of different girls in his bed on a daily if not hourly basis. I'm trying to figure out how these girls that line up for his bed have any self respect at all.
Then there's the roommate with the aforementioned named boobs. Baya "meets" her by walking in on one of her escapades. As a matter of fact, she only seems to see her in this vertical position with thing one and thing two flying. I just couldn't see it - or didn't want to see it.
Bryson. I wanted to like him. I think I may have, a little. He tries to make good choices even though he was just as bad as his roommate Cole before Baya showed up. I did like that he admitted his feeling for Baya and was very concerned for her.
The thing is that this is a fast read. I read it in an afternoon. I'm not sure if it was because I was hoping it would get better or if I was skimming after about 30%. I just can't recommend this one at all. I thought the blurb sounded good but this one is just not for me.

RATING CLARIFICATION : 3.5 to 4 Stars
This was my first book by Addison Moore and I can say that it probably won't be my last. I enjoyed reading this book but it didn't WOW me. The beginning of the story was kind of slow and very single minded when it came to the storyline. The story is about a 19 year old girl who is going off to college. She picks the college that her brother is at because she wanted to be closer to him. Baya is a virgin and an all around good girl, but she is sick of being the good girl and she is hoping that she will meet someone at college to help her get rid of her v-card. Baya's big brother Cole is very protective of her and still treats her like she is 12 years old. So you can imagine he is not about to let her go off and hook up with anyone. This story I think had a lot of potential to be a really great book, but it kind of lacked character and storyline development. We really didn't get to know the characters like I usually like to know them. Baya and Cole had a tragic incident happen in their past but we really don't get all the details. I think this is the reason that Cole acts the way he does in the book, but that is where the storyline could've been expanded. Now with that said....this book actually turned completely around at about the 40% mark for me. Once Baya and Bryson finally break down all their walls to each other the story got really good. I enjoyed watching their relationship grow over the rest of the book. Once they do get together things seemed to move rather quickly, but it was still believable to me. I really felt their feelings for each other.
Now talking about Baya and Bryson....they were a really cute couple together. Baya was a girl determined to lose her v-card and she fell hard for Bryson. Baya was also a spunky sarcastic girl. She had me laughing in quite a few places in this story. Some of the things she said reminded me of me and things I would say. I enjoyed watching her character grow as the story continued. She grew from a quiet, timid girl into a girl who fought for what she wanted. I was glad that by the end she finally stood up to Cole and fought for what she wanted with Bryson. As for Bryson....to be honest he rubbed me the wrong way in the beginning. He was harboring a secret, that doesn't come out til the very end of the book, but you could tell that whatever it was it was eating away at him. By not letting those feelings out, he was expressing his pain in destructive ways (whoring himself out) I will say that i was slightly offended with the whole tally mark thing on the wall between him and Cole. We all know that they were players and bedded a lot of different girls, but I didn't think that needed to be spelled out. I also felt that Baya was a little to forgiving in some situations when it came to Bryson...some things seemed to just be brushed under the rug. I was kind of waiting for her to say something to Bryson on a couple of occasions but it never happened. I will say that once they get together, there really is nothing that tore them apart. Even though there were people who were surely trying to break them up. It was refreshing to see a couple stay together and work things out together.
The secondary characters were interesting. I really liked Roxy and Laney. They were friends who befriend Baya when she goes to work for Bryson. They accepted her without any question and just opened themselves up to her. I loved Laney snarky attitude, she was a riot. I am excited to read her Novella when it comes out. As for Cole ( Baya's Brother )....I didn't ever really warm to him. I found him very hypocritical. He would tell Baya one thing and then not follow his own advice. I get that he was just looking out for her and that he didn't want her getting involved with a player like Bryson, but really he was no better. Plus I think he could've been a little more discreet when it came to his conquests in the bedroom. I felt it was very disrespectful to his sister, who was living with them because her roommate continued to have sex all the time in their room whether Baya was there or not. As for Aubree and Jeanie....those two characters I wanted to punch in the head. They were awful people.
So I will say that I enjoyed this book and I am glad I got to read an ARC of it. The main thing I had trouble with was that some of the aspects of the storyline really were kind of unbelievable and very singular. I mean this is a story about college life and only Baya went to class....everyone else was to busy in the bedroom. I just think the story could've been expanded on without all the extra curricular activities ;) Plus towards the end the author decided to add a little twist to the story and I will say I loved that because I didn't see that coming, but I wish it would've come a little earlier in the story because that felt kind of rushed to me. I would've liked to know how it all played out. Once you read the book you'll understand what I am talking about.
I would recommend this book for anyone looking for a coming of age love story with a lot of sexual talk.

-Ex-manwhore of Whitney Briggs University (aside from Cole Brighton, bestie and Baya’s older brother).
-King of one liners.
-Has a secret that makes him feel tainted and unworthy for wholesome Baya.
The good:
- Fast, easy read with a likable female character that you can’t help but laugh at her witty, sarcastic comments, and reactions.
(Bryson): “So you’re a freshman?” He opens the door to the building with his back and nods me in first.
(Baya) “What gave it away? My ‘How to Survive Your First Year at University’ handbook for dummies or my perky peach nipples?”
The bad:
-No substance and real plot at all.
-Most of the characters (with the exception of Baya) seriously lack in personality and are very narrow minded.
-The pacing of the story is also very blah. It’s not too fast or too slow but more so just “on a straight line” if you know what I mean.
-Cheesy and unrealistic. What I mean by this is, is that not only did I find Baya and Bryson obnoxiously corny at times, I also found their “love” rushed and quixotic. How can two people who barely know each other fall passionately in love with each other in a such a short span of time? I just don't get it. There was absolutely no build up toward their relationship that can vouch for their deep, everlasting love that this book was trying to convince us readers that they have.
-And lastly, Bryson’s painful secret. Why does one of the heroine’s in stories always have to be hiding something? So cliche and overused in stories!
“I’ve hung out in the dark for so long, I’ve forgotten what it really feels like to live, too soar with the promise of something wonderful on the horizon. Baya just might be the light at the end of this long, hellish tunnel.”
SO, OVER ALL:
Just an okay read that you really only read once. While I had hoped this book would appeal to me, I kept finding myself thinking, “things like this only happen in the movies or storybooks” because of the improbable dialogue and situations that these characters find themselves in. So unlike real life.
I’m not saying it’s a bad book because it’s not. It just lacks content quality and practicality is all.
I'm just hoping the novella coming in November,“Winter Kisses,” which stars Baya’s friend, Laney, will be a cute, fun, read that will expand on Laney's character since I couldn't divulge much about her from "3:AM Kisses."
I’m also secretly crossing my fingers and praying, that:
1)the next novel after the novella will be Cole and Roxy (Baya’s friend) story as a couple
2) and perhaps Holt's (Bryson's brother) story will take place after?! Pretty please?!? I'm already smitten with him! ;)
As for later installments following those, I’m open to other characters.

SO, OVER ALL:
Just an okay read that you really only read once. While I had hoped this book would appeal to me, I kept finding myself thinking, “things like this only happen in the movies or storybooks” because of the improbable dialogue and situations that these characters find themselves in. So unlike real life.
I’m not saying it’s a bad book because it’s not. It just lacks content quality and practicality is all.
I'm just hoping the novella coming in November,“Winter Kisses,” which stars Baya’s friend, Laney, will be a cute, fun, read that will expand on Laney's character since I couldn't divulge much about her from "3:AM Kisses."
I’m also secretly crossing my fingers and praying, that:
1)the next novel after the novella will be Cole and Roxy (Baya’s friend) story as a couple
2) and perhaps Holt's (Bryson's brother) story will take place after?! Pretty please?!? I'm already smitten with him! ;)
As for later installments following those, I’m open to other characters.
Until then, I'll conclude my review here. Despite my criticisms, I did actually like this story in my own way and hope the rest of you will too!! Happy reading everyone!

I'm a glutton for punishment.
3:AM Kisses is a new adult novel that follows the story of Baya and Bryson. Don't they already sound lovely as a couple? Baya is a naive virgin who is a freshman at the same university as her brother, who incidentally is also Bryson's roommate. He's the campus whore. Both young men mark notches into their door frames of how many female conquests they've bedded. So when the lovely little Maya walks in, of course Bryson wants her. She's the token virgin who is about to change his life. Now I know what you're thinking... Beautiful Disaster. But that isn't the case at all. It's all new adult. It's the one character with a secret that stops the relationship progressing. It's the needy virgin that is ready to jump on the first warm body thinly veiled as a love interest. Why? Whhhhy do I do this to myself. I know I'm not going to enjoy it, it's not sexy or worth of swoon status and I'm not one who enjoys writing negative reviews either.
But yet again, I've been sucked in by a book that promises sexy... And delivers flannelette pyjamas a an evening of knitting.

3:AM Kisses is actually more annoying than most, where it felt like even collage aged young adults are declaring their love after only what felt like days. Bryce's dialogue sounded like sonnets blooming in a field of roses when he spoke of his love for Baya. Say what? It doesn't matter how bad he wants in those pants ladies, no man is declaring flowery passages of love, especially when he's a newly reformed man whore. Every chapter ends in the same fashion, he wants her or she wants him and adding that they'll find a way to make it work, will make her mine, will make him mine and the likes. Every. Single. Chapter. What is the deal with that?

WOW! This was one amazing read! I immediately fell in love with Bryson, and Baya was so freaking relate able! We meet both of them when Baya arrives on campus and accidentally ends up flashing Bryson. He ends up helping her, and you can tell they are immediately attracted to each other.
When Bryson takes Baya to see her older brother Cole, she doesn't realize that Bryson is her brother's roommate. Nor does she know that her brother and his roommate are the male whores of campus! Even know Baya knows that Bryson is not good for her, she can't help but want to be around him, and the attraction pools between them, and it only gets hotter when she ends up crashing on Cole and Bryson's couch because her roommate is the female equivalent of her brother.
I loved how this book was told in both Bryson and Baya's points of view. It gave you insight into what both of them were thinking. I think if it was only told in Baya's POV I may not have fallen for Bryson (he really is a great book boyfriend!) The sexual tension, and lust between the two is HOT!!!
When things start to heat up between the two of them, it's sweet how they try to sneak away out of her brother's watch to be together. We know Bryson is hiding a painful past, and as the story goes on, you start to piece together some of what happened, but when it comes out, your heart breaks for him. I wish he would have come clean with Baya sooner than he did, but then everything would not have come out, and peace would not have been made.
It was a little hard at first to see how Bryson could reform from male slut to doting guy, but when everything comes out in the book, you realize it's not that unbelievable. I truly feel bad for Bryson, especially when Cole finds out! He's always afraid of losing Baya, and he thinks if anyone can turn her against him, its her brother.
When all is said and done, is Cole ok with the relationship? Do Baya and Bryson make it? What is Bryson's secret? Where will Baya live? If you want the answers, you must pick up this book! Its a must read, and such a great story! I can't wait for Winter Kisses (Laney and Ryder's Novella) to be released. All of these characters in this book deserve their own story! The story telling, the characters, the LOL moments at someone's first time, and just the love between these two characters was awesome, and I'll read anything that deals with these characters!

This book was cringe. Seriously I actually cringed.
Baya was the type of character I wanted to punch. She was supposed to be an innocent, sheltered 19year old but all I could think was this girl is so naive, so immature, such a doormat (get some backbone girl!), and she was more like a 16 year old - but even most 16 year olds would be more advanced than her. She was a joke.
And her brother Cole was such a pig! I mean how ridiculous. He was a huge delusional, hypocritical manwhore. In what world does a brother have loud noisy sex with a random when he knows his sister is in the next room? And we're supposed to believe he's a lovely, protective older brother!
Aside from the characters, and the classic template story (see below), my other problem was the writing style and language. I'm all for romance but it was sickening. It was over the top, poetic, sappy crap that seemed like the author should have been trying to make fun of that type of writing but was seriously writing it. It was cringe inducing. The descriptive writing - of which usually there is nothing wrong with, if it's done right - will make you want to heave.
I really didn't like this.
But also can I just say what is this template in the adult romance genre that EVERY single author is using. They're all the same, you feel like you've read it before...because you have, just with a different title.
Manwhore boy who can't settle down and he's damaged, virgin girl who's gorgeous but is the only one who doesn't know it. He wants her, she loves him. She is grateful that he wants her. He's grateful that she saved herself and now she's only his (double standards anyone). They have sex which only hurts a little but is mindblowingly orgasmic - and it's her first time so that's entirely realistic! There's some kind of drama but they're both changed forever so it works out.

This was the first book I have read by Addison and I wasn't that impressed. I found it predictable and TOO sexually charged... I know, there's such a thing!? I didn't know it was until I read this. EVERYBODY is out having sex and I was slapped in the face with it when I was just looking for some insight into the characters. With that said, I didn't seem to like the insight I actually received.
The plot twist in this was the only unpredictable part I experienced here. Although I knew something was going to happen, I didn't expect it to escalate the way it did.
The main character was hilarious at the beginning but then I felt she was trying too hard. She went rambling on and on about jokes and I got to the point where I just wanted her to shut up.
The relationship in this book was paced fine for the most part but I even thought it was too fast to be believable. The L word was spoken too fast as well and I didn't believe their emotions were there just yet. Anyway, they were fine as a couple but I wasn't extremely rooting for them either. Whatever happened between them was fine as long as I got to the end.
Also, the repetitive use of a certain childish phrase got on my nerves. I'm glad I gave this a shot but I don't even mind not finishing this series.

Written in his and hers alternate points of view, 3:am kisses is incredibly corny and funny.
It has the components for a great read but lacks a certain depth for it. It’s still a good read because being in either Baya or Bryson’s head is at incredibly humorous.
Yeah, Baya is a horny virgin set on proving she’s old and mature enough to be deflowered. While Bryson is also way funny and charming he has a past that hinders him from wanting any meaningful relationship, but when confronted by Baya he is unable to resist her.
Swoon right? Looking forward to reading about the equally hot and sexy Edwards twin!

Bryson. Yep, that pretty much sums it up. Bryson. Ok, there is actually so much more to this book, but at this moment, I am still swooning over Bryson. True Story.
The first book in the 3AM Kisses series focuses on Bryson and Baya. Baya is such an interesting and likable character. I know interesting sounds boring, but she so is not. We get to see her relationship to her brother change as she discovers that they both really dealt with their childhood in a very different manner. We also get to watch her as she discovers who she really wants to be without the constraints of other's expectations. Oh and we *spoiler alert* get to watch her fall in love with the oh so swoon worthy Bryson.
One of the things I really enjoyed about this book aside from thee fabulous and oh so hot love story were the secondary characters. OK, I did not like them all ;), but even the unlikable ones caught and held my attention. I am really hoping to learn more about them in the future. If you like your NA with a bit of heat, this book is probably for you. I was sucked in from the first chapter, so be prepared to be very tired in the morning because you could not put it down :).

Loved this steamy novel! It was really nice! Laughed a lot while reading it! The fact that the guy was capable of waiting so much to get physical with the girl was really unbelievable, adding the fact, he made notches on the wall to keep the track of how many girls, he's been with ...

Every time I see it somewhere, I always feel the rush of displeasure and it's not something I'm indifferent to. Nothing personal towards the author, it's the book that was so not my cup of tea and I really DNF-d it because I hated it with passion. Hence me rating it. Deal with it!

This was a book where I really wish Goodreads gave half stars. I really felt this was more of a 2.5-ish book. After reading the first 30% of the book I could definitely see why people shelved this as DNF. However, as I went along it got better. The first part was basically everywhere that Baya went everyone was having sex and that's all basically anyone did. It was kind of annoying. Once the relationship between her and Bryson got going things got better. If you are one of those people that gets annoyed easily you will want to avoid this book.

Prior to 3:AM Kisses I was only familiar with Addison through her amazing Celestra series. I’m so glad I got the opportunity to review an ARC for this tour because it was awesome!
This is the first in a new series. Our H/h are Bryson and Baya. Baya is a freshman in college who is up for new adventures and shedding her “good girl” status, which was placed on her by her older brother, Cole, who happens to be roommates and best friends with Bryson. But that’s not how Bryson and Baya first meet. I can’t tell you that little tidbit because that initial meeting is priceless!
Bryson is, well, basically a man-whore. He is running from a secret in his past that makes him feel unworthy to be with just one woman; until he meets Baya. She’s different…he likes that she isn’t throwing herself at him, that she’s a little awkward and shy in the beginning but also ready to jump into college life with both feet first. He has an instant need to protect her, which he tries to convince himself is brotherly…or at least needs to be; but that feeling quickly turns to him admitting he wants her for himself.
College life for Baya on the other hand turns out to not be what she thought. She’d had a close relationship with Cole her whole life, especially after the unexpected loss of their father. But when she turns up on his doorstep she sees that he’s not the brother who’d left for college three years prior…he turns out to be just as much a man-whore as Bryson, in fact an even bigger one, which lights a fire in her to revolt against her good girl persona even more. In addition to this new discovery her roommate turns out to be from slutsville USA turning out a new guy almost each day. Never having formally been introduced to the girl, Baya instead makes friends with “Thing One and Thing Two” as they wink and flash at her on a regular basis.
Bryson’s family owns a number of bars, where he offers Baya a waitressing job to make some money…and keep an eye on her while keeping her close. She’s introduced to Laney, another waitress, and through Laney, Roxy. The three become quick friends.
It’s a battle of wills for Bryson and Baya to not give into their desires for each other but it’s in the wee small hours of the night after a shift they finally give in to that first kiss-and what a kiss it was-that sets them on the path of no return.
While Bryson and Baya get closer, Cole has his own ideas about keeping his sister pure and what’s right for her, which most definitely does not go over well with Baya. And as the couple try and hide their relationship from Cole, they begin to fall in love and commit to one another. Despite the memories that haunt Bryson, ones he is not ready to share with Baya, he pushes past them to risk everything to be with her. It’s an “OH SHIT” moment when Cole inevitably finds out…I laughed because I didn’t know what else to do and then I panicked, but luckily Addison didn’t take it where I thought she would.
Cole isn’t the only bump in the road that tries to set the couple off course. Aubree, a friend of a friend, from Bryson’s past has been obsessed with him and getting in his pants, completely put off that she seems to be the one girl he won’t touch. When Baya rushes her sorority she sees it as an opportunity to wedge between Bryson and Baya, revealing secrets from the past not even Bryson knew about.
But through it all, Bryson and Baya stay strong. I loved the trust Baya had in Bryson despite what others, including Cole, were trying to tell her differently. It was refreshing, because in any other story that niggling doubt would have caused major problems for a couple with the womanizing past Bryson had. I thought their interactions were fun, flirty and sexy. Bryson really is a great, lovable character. He’s close to his twin brother, Holt, and younger sister, Annie that allows the reader to connect the way that Baya does with him.
And just so you know, Addison knows how to right good snark! I was practically in tears at some of the narration, especially from Baya. That girl has sass!
You will get your HEA with Bryson and Baya but I hope they pop up in Laney’s novella and through out however many books will be in this series. It’s absolutely one I will be sticking with. So make sure to grab your copy of 3:AM Kisses and check out Addison’s other books. “I double dog dare you!”

I enjoyed Baya and Bryson’s college romance, and I liked the audiobook performance a lot.
I did a dual audiobook and e-book read, and I mistakenly thought I had the entire series collected in dual formats. But I think I confused this series with one of her others because I see now that only 2 more books are available in audiobook format. That’s a shame because I’m primarily an audiobook reader and read much faster in that format than any other.
I’m on the fence now about continuing the series this year because judging by the release dates of the next 2 available audiobooks, future audiobooks may not be forthcoming any time soon. I know I have at least 12 of the standalone e-books already collected, but my enthusiasm for finishing this series in 2018 has diminished knowing that I can’t read the entire series via audiobook format.

Bryson that boy is sex on two legs, so cocky, "don't feel too bad - clothes everywhere have a habit of falling off in my presence. Especially the undergarment variety." His mind, s*** his mind is entertaining, "s***. Forget Cole, I'll have my own balls on a spit by the end of the night if she accidently turns this into some kind of stripping gig. The only one she's allowed to strip for is me." Even in the most extreme situations the boy has a sense of humor, "that's all right. He sort of disabled those services in me for a while anyway. I'm afraid he wiped out any children we might have wanted in the future." Although the story was about Bryson and Baya I was mostly focused on Cole and his manwhoring ways and I can't wait for his story because I know the girl who is gonna have him whipped will have his damn balls on a silver platter.

3 AM Kisses is narrated by Caitlin Kelly and she is Baya all the way. She brought the story to life in a way that was so entertaining and wonderful I was hooked from the first page!!!
Baya Brighton and Bryson Edwards story is I believe the best romantic comedy I have read so far this year or ever. Loved this so much I had to listen to it twice. If you have previously read the book, I highly recommend you add this to the collection to fully enjoy the story.

I guess I was expecting too much from this book, but I was a little despondent with all the slut shaming and degrading stuffs that both main characters had done. I was ready to call it quits with Baya’s take on sexual fantasies and her virginity issues, and her brother’s harem scarem activities, and her too high regards to the equally haughty Bryson Edwards, her would be boyfriend. I just didn’t like the vibes they’d been putting off, i don’t know if it’s just me or maybe I’ve read a lot of erotic romances lately and my high hopes we’re just dashed off.
The thing that kept me going though was the mystery of Stephanie and Laney’s bad streak with guys. Even the evil Aubree got me interested. The rest , I don’t know.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve read and loved Addison Moore’s Celestra series (Ethereal, Ephemeral, Tremble just to name a few) which I’ve read about three years ago. This is my so called “return of the comeback” to Miss Moore’s writing, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that her paranormal fantasy stories were better and more fascinating.
I am still reading the next book in the series though, because as I’ve mentioned above, Laney’s story interest me. So there’s just one way to find out and that is to read Winter Kisses.. Plus, I also got the other books in the series, so I am hoping for the better.
