The elegant and beautiful system of the special days of holy convocation and how each one has been or will be fulfilled in prophecy. An explanation of the commandments of Jehovah to Moses on Mount Sinai regarding the festival days and their deep significance. Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, Pentecost, Trumpets, Atonement and Tabernacles are shown in all their glory.
What a blessing and a deeper understanding of Biblical truths we have with Jewish believers like Zola Levitt! The seven Feasts listed in Leviticus 23 as prophecy about world history. We don't know the day or the hour, but the next event is clearly the Trumpets (Rosh HaShana?): The trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. (1 Cor 15:52) Also the parallels between the Feasts and a baby's development in its mother's womb are quite amazing.
Levitt made this comment, “…each of us has fulfilled the seven feasts in a unique way, before we were actually born!” Even when we do not completely understand the symbolism inherent in each of the feasts, we have been created to praise Him from the point of conception, where life begins. I highly recommend this short read for anyone interested in better understanding the Old Testament feasts, from the perspective of a Messianic Jew, and/or understanding the pregnancy timeline. How great is our God!!
This is fascinating study of the Feasts of the Bible and their significance for us today. It describes the spiritual meaning behind them and how God has meticulously arranged every detail according to His plan. Some of it nearly blew me away as it was so amazing and inspiring.
There is purpose all throughout the Word of God, and Zola Levitt allows us to get a glimpse of God's amazing order of things in this small booklet on the seven feasts of Israel. Written in 1979, it's a treasure for anyone who wants to better understand the feasts and their purpose, not for the people of that time, but for us today. Even in understanding that he lays them out in one single chapter of the book of Leviticus, as Levitt says, "lest no one overlook them."
This book, as Levitt says, is to build our faith as Christians. For me, it leads to wonder and worship of our amazing God. Not only am I blessed by a deeper understanding of the feasts and their fulfillment, but also in the added bonus of Levitt's discovery of how they coincide with the birth cycle. God created in the mother's womb a child according to a specific timetable. Much of this was a mystery until the time of modern medicine, yet he still did it, allowing us to praise him for what others would never be able to know.
Sometimes the greatest blessings come in the smallest packages, and I believe this small booklet teaches more than volumes of other works attempt--and to God's glory, besides!
Perfectly brings truth to light on correlations between God's outline for His people and the perfect plan of Christ. Clearly shows God's hand in our creation to revelation.
A timeless classic read. Zola provides a brief overview of each of the seven feasts and the fulfillment or soon to be fulfillment of the feast. This is an important read for every Jew and Christian.
A good short read about the seven main feasts of Israel. The closing section of "booklet" discusses the parallel of a developng fetus and the feasts of Israel. A MUST for anyone who defends the 25th as Christ's birthday.
Short, but very informative. Fascinating how the feasts correlates with the saving and regeneration of believer's in Christ and how the pregnancy calendar matches the feasts as well. Good read.
