After reading part 1 i had to read part 2 to find out what was going to happen with these ladies! Lauren, Toya, and Terisha are back and with more drama then before. So much has changed in the lives of these women yet so many things have stayed the same. If you are looking for a quick read that will pull you in then this series is it. There are parts that will make you, laugh and cry. Sometimes happiness and sometimes sadness these ladies stick togther and have each others backs always.

I really enjoyed this story it started right where part 1 ended and it just kept on going. So much happens in the lives of these women, some good some bad and you just cant help but continue to read so you can just see whats going to happen next or whats going to try to get in the way of their happiness.

The book had a few minor errors but other than that it was very well written you got to know the characters in book one and in book two you got to see how the characters developed more. It felt like you knew the ladies and was going through some of the things they were going through as well.

I will continue to read other books my this author.

Big Girls Need Love Too picks up right where book one leaves off. Tershia is trying to pick up the pieces of her life after finding out about her husband Adam's indiscretions. After going through so much hurt from her past marriage, Toya tries her best to get over her fears and prepare for upcoming nuptials to James. Meanwhile, Lauren is still out there looking for the highest bidder to take take care of her. No matter what these girls have endured, they stick by each other. Will the girls be able to get over there past and move forward or will their past forever be a constant barrier?

I really enjoyed this sequel. The author filled in all the holes from the first story so that the series was completely wrapped up. I found myself deeply engrossed in the story, and on the edge of my seat to see what would happen next. I love a drama-filled story, and this one was no exception. There were a few errors in the book; however, they did not take away from the story. I look forward to reading more from this author.

I really enjoyed the first book in the "Big Girls Need Love" series so I was super excited to read part 2. While I enjoyed this book, I did not like it as much as part 1. There were scenes that seemed to drag to me and details that weren't very necessary to the story line. It also didn't have a much drama as the first book. Nevertheless, it was most definitely an interesting and quick read. I appreciated the true friendship between the girls because it seems ad if true friendships are rare in urban lit. I was also happy to read about the maturation of the characters and their abilities to make better decisions. Tershia got a serious reality check and finally realized that she's not better than anyone else. I was saddened by her story and I know that if I was in her situation there's no way that I wold have reacted in the same manner. I was pleased that the author wrapped up the series so well and left no questions unanswered.

In this second book of the series, the three friends continue their search for love and stability in relationships. The drama continues, the chaotic relationships are still there, and readers are still pulled in as each individual lady struggles to make decisions in relationships. I found this book much more interesting and a much better read than the first book. I was somewhat disgusted by the amount of sleeping around everyone did. However, I also realized that this fit in well with the storyline and helped bring together the characterization of the ladies in the book. All in all, this is a good read.

I must say that this book was truly awesome...I read it in really one day, a true page turner for me. I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I enjoyed how love played out in this book. Reading this book was like watching a lifetime movie. I enjoyed the fact that this author wrote about the big girls...because they deserved love as well. I was excited that all the girls got the love that she wanted and deserved. Thanks for keeping me entertained

I am just enjoying this series. Rukkyyah did a a great job picking up right where the Part 1 left off, giving a brief into to the characters and their current situations. I really enjoyed the stories flow. The girls have grown, so much. I was glad to see that they all found happiness at the end. You rarely read books that have such a happy ending in spite of. With all this happiness, I can't wait to see how Part 3 will play out.

This installment was just like the first. I felt it was predictable and some parts unbelievable. The only one of the women that grew was Toya. Tereshia & Lauren didn't seem like they learned anything and still had happy endings. I wasn't impressed with the writing. I am going to read more by this author though.
