The Code: For a Sweet & Beautiful Life

Rate this book
The Code is a model for living confidently, doing what matters and creating meaningful change. It’s more than a manifesto and better than a mission statement—this is a living, breathing way of thinking and living that helps you get confidently out into the world to do what matters to you. Not just that, but it guides you and holds your hand as you go.But why the fuss over confidence and doing what matters anyway?Because confidence is showing up in the world knowing you’re enough. It’s easing into what matters most without the need to chase status, validation or recognition, simply because you don’t need to prove anything. You get to apply confidence right at the point of choice or change without without needing all the answers and without your worth being dependent on what happens next.Real confidence is softening into uncertainty and trusting that being wonderfully and imperfectly whole is plenty. And that’s how you get to live a sweet and beautiful life.

It’s okay.

There’s good knowledge here. But it didn’t fulfill me the way I wanted it to. I was a bit deterred by the grammatical errors and the sentence construction, but with that I powered through.

I think this would be a great book if a lot more research was done and a lot more depth was given to topics.

Yes, all of this is obvious if you've read enough, but it's short and to the point, and lends well for a quick skim, just as the author intended.

It may help you get unstuck or regain balance if applied at the right moment.

32 points, speaks volumes

Concise, gets right to the point. Doesn't require you to read 300 pages, and yet as useful as some 300 page self- help books.

Naeema Fox's ebook review for Personal Development to be Successful

When I started to read this book, I was looking for codes but I found affirmations. The authors intent is to get you to be involved with living. Then he gives you examples of how to use the codes, which I found to be cute. Personal development to be successful is a massive topic. It's one that I enjoy and I write about on my blog at www.naeemafox.wordpress.com. This ebook was a simple read and can be done in under 20 minutes which make this a great reason to read. Then the rest is up to you in processing it. It's always a good idea to fill your mind with good tips.

This is a extremely quick read but packed with bits of "Code" to give you insight in how to make yourself a better person in many ways. I found various "Codes" that I could implement into my life that would change some thoughts/beliefs/ideas that are currently present in my life. Very insightful and really worth the read!

Realistic approach to a better you

Don't let the small size fool you. Not a lot of pages to read but the content is excellent. Provides some very good thoughts on how to get over that hump.

Thoughts thirty nine of them

Thirty nine reminders. You already know these things but a reminder never hurt anyone. Right? It is a Quick and easy read.

Not worth it

Okay...not well written but provides simplistic and common sense ideals. As a person who is aware and confident it didn't teach me anything.
