I accidentally erased the review I just wrote. I may redo it if time permits. Basically, the book/audiobook consists of a compilation of articles published in the fall of 2012 by Scientific American. I suggest more current material on the origin of our species since much has been learned in the 10 years that followed.

An interesting exploration of human evolution

Really enjoyed this series of essays. Some things I knew, others were new to me, but all of it was very interesting. Would recommend to anyone interested in learning about how we became human.
