A short little booklet (36 pages) that shows you how to correct the five most common errors in riding - how to balance your saddle, how to sit in it correctly, how to hold your hands so you sit better, how to ask your horse to go without wearing yourself out, and how to ask him to stop without pulling. Think of this as a bag of treats that never runs out.
Really good advice in this short succinct book. I think I'll go out tomorrow with different ideas in working with my horse. Glad I came across this read.
If you are the fence about buying any of his other books then pick this one up (it's cheap) first, once you read it you'll immediately buy everything else he has written.
His thoughts on movements are completely different then most trainers and are dead on. This book is good for any discipline.
Just read the sample, not the entire book. His writing style is clear and understandable. I think the five items he addresses are very very basic, which means they are very very important. If they are wrong, your riding and your horse's ability to do what you want, will suffer. Fix them, and you are no longer fighting the system but working with it.
The information is valid but pretty common sense. You probably don't need this booklet to know the tips offered, such as sit up straight, and bend your elbows.
