Klaus Kreiser ist ein deutscher Orientalist und Turkologe. Kreiser studierte in Köln und München, wo er 1972 promoviert wurde und anschließend lehrte. Von 1976 bis 1980 war er Wissenschaftlicher Referent des Deutschen Archäologischen Instituts in Istanbul. 1983 habilitierte er sich an der Universität München. 1987 war er Directeur d’Études an der Pariser École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. Von 1984 bis zu seiner Emeritierung 2005 war er Professor für Türkische Sprache, Geschichte und Kultur an der Universität Bamberg.

Klaus Kreiser is a German orientalist and turcologist. Kreiser studied in Cologne and Munich, where he received his doctorate in 1972 and subsequently taught. From 1976 to 1980 he was Scientific Officer of the German Archaeological Institute in Istanbul. In 1983 he habilitated at the University of Munich. In 1987 he was Directeur d'Études at the Paris École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales. From 1984 until his retirement in 2005, he was Professor of Turkish Language, History and Culture at the University of Bamberg.

Küçük başlıklı çalışmaları seviyorum. Merak edilen konuya dair genel bir görüş edinmek ve okumaya devam etme konusunda karar vermede çok işe yarıyorlar. Bu kitap da epey uzun bir süreci ele alıyor. İçindeki yazıları sevdim. Gayet iyi seçilmiş başlıklar ve makaleler var. Türk tarihi okumaları için rota oluşturmaya yardımcı.

Buon libro. Certi punti salienti della storia turca non sono trattati come si deve come l'ascesa di Kemal e le sue vittorie. Il libro è esaustivo con cura meticolosa circa il periodo ottomano pre e post Mehmet II per poi bloccarsi dal 1600 in poi. Non consiglio questo libro a chi si voglia avvicinare al mondo turco per la prima volta.

400 sayfaya sığdırıldığı için elbette bazı kısımlar kısaca anlatıp geçilmiş. Yine de ele alınan dönemler her yönüyle incelenmiş.
