A terrifying read about al-Barzakh. It really makes you think twice about doing bad deeds. I highly recommend this because it is based off of authentic sources that are always specifically referenced. The book also dispels some myths that some Muslims believe about the condition of those in al-Barzakh.

I thought this was a pretty good book overall. The editing was great and the material was easy to read for someone who doesn't have a background in fiqh, which is always a plus. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn a little about Barzakh, a little talked about part of the hereafter.

Zayd Bin Thabit reported that Allah's Messenger (‎ﷺ ) said: ‹Verily, those people (the dead) are being afflicted in the grave. Were it not that you may tend to stop burying each other, I would have asked Allah (swt) to let you hear the torture of the grave as I do.>

The explanations are helpful and all the sources are cited. After reading this book, you will have a very clear idea what happens in the dying moment and after it (in the grave). I would recommend to all my fellow Muslims, and interested non-Muslims, too. It's also a quick read, so I'm sure everyone can put aside an hour or two for this elucidating work.

Amazing book, the author did a great job structuring the book and covering the death first then what happens in the grave and what happens to people in the grave according to their beliefs and action in this world. I learned plenty of new things from this book and glad that it was sourced from the Quran and the authentic Hadiths. May Allah reward the author.
