It fails to achieve the basic thing that is supposed to, to make Calculus II simple. It's just another book about the subject and a very rough one, too.

This was an excellent resource that really helped me to get down the concepts and processes that are fundamental to Calculus 2. I will definitely keep this as part of my reference books as I work with students. The sections that I struggled the most with in class frequently had very insightful explanations in this guide. I would recommend this book to anyone either taking or teaching Calculus 2.

Several factual errors. Poor organization and explication to motivate main topics and techniques. Who is this for? Certainly not "dummies", I hope.

If fails to provide any consistently explained examples. Too jumpy for me. Very very conceptual- the thing about calculus II is that you can't learn from one example because the method is constantly changing. But this book fails to acknowledge that and dumb it down for the dummies.

Covers the important bits. Rigor is mental masturbation, and you'll go blind young man.
