Perfect

I am not us citizen. Not even from America continet. But i think its valuable expirience here. But probably marketing and labour related piece can be very different. However author mentioned that.

Informative, but at a fairly superficial level. All of the advice seems good, but definitely not something that is going to suddenly transform you into the framer. It definitely makes it seem like anyone should be able to be the farmer, but...

All in all a good book, but definitely not an in depth technical tome. The additional resources sections at the end seem really useful though, so worth the purchase just for that!

Some things seemed a little redundent in this book, however that could be just me. None the less I gave this top biling it is a book that belongs on your shelf if you have ever thought of having a small farm, of any kind.

This book isn't about farming; it's about "Agripreneurship." It's worth reading if you plan on starting a small farm. This book defines "small farm" as anything less than 179 acres OR any farm that grosses less than $50,000 a year.

Easy read with tons of useful information and advice for the beginning farmer on smaller acreage.

Very readable. Makes a good start for understanding what it takes to build a sustainable business on a small farm. The author avoids the trap of too much technical jargon.

I think this guy came from the farm in Santa Cruz. A lot of stuff I've heard and learned before, but a pretty easy, conversational style to jog the memory and imagination.
