Good reviews and yet I didn't like it one bit. Christ, how can someone be as annoying as Ava?
Ava is our heroine and let me tell you she goes from innocent to I-want-it-all-right-now in the first chapter. Mind you she's only eighteen and still in high school. I tried to understand her and how she wanted to live and experience but there's a time and place for everything.
In the end, being in Ava's mind was annoying. She goes from being the good girl to I-do-everything-now and I mean everything... getting drunk, doing drugs, having sex. Argh it was frustrating to have her as the heroine.

Then, we have Zac. He's your typical mysterious and dangerous yet intriguing and hottie badass. At least that's what the author wants you to believe. Honestly, I thought he was an assho**.
He meets Ava and automatically wants her. They end up dating for ONE month then he has to give her up because you know..."relationship never last".
What hero willingly gives up the heroine to someone else? That's exactly what Zac does, he dumps Ava before their month is up and hands her over to Tyler yet he has never felt the way he feels when he's with Ava.
So freaking cliche and yet Zac won't even do anything to keep Ava.
This is where I got fed up. Sorry, buddy but your time is up and we ain't going no where.
Anyway, fast forward two months, Ava keeps living la vida loca while being with Tyler but still loving Zac.
Then, out of nowhere, Zac realizes he still wants Ava and forget about Tyler, Ava and Zac hook up again and THE END.
So there you have it, I've summarize the whole book.

OMG THIS BOOK IS AWESOME AND JUST SO INTENSE!!!
Wished i could have checked out this book earlier!!! * squeals*

"Everyone else to me is just a comparison. I can't do anything without the idea of you ruining it for me. you're in my head and i can't get you out,"

BAD BOY MEETS GOOD GIRL? EVERY GOOD GIRL HAS A WILD SIDE.

In a place where they get away with cocaine , coke , ecstasy ....

I am in loveeee with the characters of the story, i couldn't stop smirking to myself like an idiot while reading the it! Pages after pages i wanted to give Zac a kick, i wanted to give Noah and Will kisses and i wanted to hug Ava for being such an awesome girl!!!!

" i instantly knew that he was someone who could make me weak at the knees, stirring something in me that i had never felt before. I felt alive, like electricity was charging through me."

AVA , this girl whose mother went missing for five years, penning for her mother's return while her father moved on with a new woman. I thought her good friend Sophie would stick around throughout but well ... And i like how Ava handled her family matters and Ava's a strong girl is like wow.

ZAC , this guy full of hotness , definitely a fellow book boyfriend one would not forget for a while, he's ooze of sex, intense, and .... ALPHA MALE ALERT PLEASE. He too did not have a happy bright family history. Read as he fall for AVA real fast and furious & he's soooo protective of her. Couldn't keep his hands off her ;) and yes, he's the type of bad ass guy that parents won't approve off but who cares? THIS GUY IS A WALKING SEX GOD.

& not forgetting, WILL , JANEY AND NOAH !!!!!! OMGOODNESS, WILL IS LIKE SUCH A SWEET GUY , AND NOAH , HE'S CERTAINLY ONE OF THE TYPE OF BEST GUY FRIEND YOU WANT TO HAVE AROUND !!!! *squeaks*

OKAY, there's also sweet TYLER who's just normal typical footballer, he's nice, but well one sided love, i still like him though! There's other characters you will come to hate about and want to punch them too!!!!

This is one of the books where you start to read, you can't stop until you finish it. If you like beautiful disaster, you are sure to like this too!!!!!! START READING THIS BOOK IF YOU HADNT !!!! :))))

Now that i have finished within hours, i am still so hyped over the story!!! Gushing over the characters to myself and wishing there's more to the characters' future!!!!

Can't wait for the next book which focus on Noah !! :DDDDD

PLEASE LET THERE BE A WILL AND JANEY STORY TOO, MISS DEE BRIDLE!!!!

5 stars!!

I wanna rate it with 4 stars, but... I'm adding 1 star for Zac's whoreness? is that even a word? Why do I like it? coz the girl gets hurt, then I get hurt, then i love the story more because it made me feel something.

I love Zac, he's a manwhore! I kinda hated him for that, I mean, he 'Effed' girls to forget her and I kind of wanted Ava to do the same just to piss Zac, I would have loved that.

What I like in this novel is I feel like I'm always on edge, kind of giddy to know what happens next.

What I didn't like about this novel is Ava!! Yes! gawwd she's so needy! I'm all for the damsel in distress shit but gawwd! He effin left her and she kept on following him around like a friggin leech! She did drugs for goodness sake, but she's still too soft! I mean, she should have left him suffer for awhile!!

Anyways, I looooooooove the story! Though they didn't have much happy moments together and more on pain and shit I still love it! I hope there's book 2, I want to read more about their story, about Zac's work, how they'd move on with their lives, having children, etc!

This book is a page turner, like I said, it kept me on edge not knowing what he's gonna do next! it's so worth my time! and I hope the author already wrote tons of novels!

Just saw the author's page, this is her debut novel! dafuq!! (oops, sorry) I mean, I want to read more from her!! now I have to wait for months!!!

Ava is a sweet, innocent good girl until she meets tall tattooed bad boy Zac at a party. When jealous Shara drugs Ava, Zac comes to her rescue, and although attracted to Ava, feels she is not only too innocent for him but would want more than he is willing to give.
When Ava calls Zac drunk from another party, in which she plans to be a “bad girl”, Zac again comes to her rescue to ensure she doesn’t do anything stupid with the guy that’s hitting on her. When Ava tries to leave a party after seeing Zac making out with some other girl, the two finally come clean about their attraction to one another yet Zac still tells her that she should stay away from him. Ava persists and Zac continues to convince her that he is not right for her. At a birthday party for their friend Tyler, scumbag Antony tries to rape her and both Tyler and her best friend Sophie believe that she wanted to have sex with Antony. Distraught, Ava begins to walk home, but Zac finds her and takes her to his friend Noah’s house where they learn what happened and decide to take action against Antony for Ava’s sake. Ava begins to bond with Zac, his friends, and Zac’s sister Laney, and strays further away from what was normal for her, starting with changing her hair color then further on by trying drugs and sex. After Ava’s friend Sophie goes through an experience similar to Ava’s with Antony, Zac and his friends again decide to step in against Antony and Nathan, even though Sophie is undeserving. When Ava decides to profess her love for Zac, he decides to end their relationship. Weeks go by with Ava self-destructing with drugs and alcohol after learning that the mother that abandoned her is actually dead. She spends a large part of her time with Janey, Zac’s sister, and after a traumatizing event causes Zac and Ava together again, Zac finally comes to his senses and realizes that Ava is the only drug that he will ever need.
Although at its core, I like the love story between Ava and Zac, two people clearly in pain, I find all the excessive drug and alcohol use by the majority, if not all, of the characters within the story a little off-putting. I initially found it disconcerting that Ava still pursued Zac, considering all his blatant attempts to thwart her that include him at one point telling her that he had sex with the girl next to him, albeit using a bit stronger words. Yet despite all the initial misgivings about those issues, Zac and his friends are actually more endearing than the “supposedly good” characters that believe the worst of Ava. That being said, Zac’s protectiveness of Ava is a little volatile, including threatening bodily harm to anyone that seems to want to get anywhere near her. A lot of the main characters are flawed, though it is because those flaws that you end up caring about these characters and actually hoping that they realize that what they actually need is one another rather than all the dangerous vices they partake in. This book is definitely not the most conventional of love stories and might not appeal to all readers, but I found it was truly satisfying to witness all it took to get these two characters together in the end.

If u like books with male "hero" who can't keep it in his pants even after being with the female lead and a female lead who is truly one of the worst pathetic, desperate stalker who has no pride and self respect them you will love this book!! Writing is good but characters awful and lead female truly made me cringe in embarrassment at how she kept on chasing the "hero" no matter how many times he rejects her. Deleted book straight after.

Embracing Trouble is a quick-paced read. It is well written albeit formulamatic in its good-girl-falls-for-bad-boy premise. Even though most readers will anticipate the end of the story, it is a wild ride getting there!

Both Ava and Zac are damaged by the loss of their mother, but they’ve chosen different paths to ease their pain. Interestingly, the “good kids” are the least loyal and the least ethical characters. The “burners” may get into trouble, but they seem to have a sense of decency and morality in their treatment of people. It is a classic theme of “can’t judge a book by its cover”.

I definitely felt the teenage/young adult angst and desire to be considered grown-up. The characters are developed, and they are believable. I found the dynamics of Ava’s and Zac’s relationship disturbing, however, there are probably young men and women who behave/respond similarly. Ava’s and Zac’s behavior is probably meant to demonstrate the degree to which they were affected by the loss of a caring parent.

The book is written like it is meant to be YA—very little parent involvement and characters are 18-21ish, however, there is a lot of sex, drugs and loud music (metal not rock n' roll). The content was not for readers with a delicate sensibility or for readers under 18 years old.

It’s not good. And the reason perhaps is personal, but that heroine and I didn’t share the same idea of what independence and living your life to the fullest are. My idea of fun doesn’t involve crazy parties, sex and drugs. I liked story when we get to see the MC developed into someone better. But she turned into worst. She’s into a guy who does shady business for a living. She has friend who has no loyalty to her, ditched her in favor of her boyfriend (and that said boyfriend tried to rape her). Another friend who gave her drugs ‘for fun.’ Plus, she was so immature to even listen to her father. I get that she was upset, mad even, to what her father did. But she didn’t even listen, if I know she only used that excuse to permanently move in with her boyfriend.

How can you be happy when things were spiraling downwards? I really don’t get her principles. I was hoping that she will change and pursue a better life. But it didn’t happen.

This is a really good read. I fell in love with the main characters through out the book. I loved Zach right away but it took me a long time to like Ava. It just seems like she's the biggest pushover in the beginning just letting her best friend Sophie dictact her life. Speaking of Sophie, she's didn't deserve a friend like Ava. She's always been there for her through the whole book and Sophie just did stupid shit repeatedly. It really pissed me off that when Ava came running to Sophie rescue when the sex tape went out to comfort her, Ava took her out and Sophie proposition Zach. Anyways it frustrated me that Zach kept pushing Ava away when it was clear that his feelings for her weren't going to change. I was really happy when they finally got to together in the end. They both deserve a happily ever after. All in all I really recommend this book.

This was so freaking good. I want to read this book again and again. I loved this book so much. Zac and Ava are one of my favorites book couples. Everything in this book just kept me reading and reading - I couldnt stop and stayed up until I finished this book. I cant wait for book 2 to read Noah's story. I loved every character on the "burner" side - Will, Janey, Noah and Zac. Screw Sophie and Antony and Tyler - I hated all of them and so glad Ava had balls to do as she pleased every time. Again I loved loved loved this freakin book.

Ok so The beggining was kind of strange for me, Ava was the typical teenager who wanted to be crazy for her last year in High School, and at some point I truly hated the stupid choices she made but ok so I let it be.

Zac was on the other hand the bad boy, who falls hard on a 18 year old girl and triss to push her awau every single time.

It was kind of frustrating every single chapter had some reason why the couldn´t be together but well...

This book was not really for me, it´s kind of young adult reading with dashes of romance, drugs and lots of sex

I felt the heroine Ava was like a doormat. I mean how many times are you going to stand and watch/know that he screwed other girls. Yes, he told her he does not do committment but when she tries to get it on with other guys, he gets Alpha (which I know is part of the story). I liked this book and I would've have rated it higher if she would've made him sweat a bit and not forgive him right away. Let him work for it and feels how she felt.

Btw, there is no Cliffhanger and it ends with HEA.

Truly truly awful. I could not Stand the female lead Ava. She had to be one of the most annoying, idiotic, needy and whiny characters I have ever come across. Constantly "giggling" She was incredibly immature and got herself into ridiculous situations . And the way she threw herself at the male character was just embarrassing.

Don't waste your money.

Holy hotness! Such a whirlwind of sex, drugs, passionate emotion and even a touch of innocence! Read it! Story centers around older boys, younger girls and the boys that wish. Several scary moments for the girls and the revenge was a new level of "wow" factor. Can't wait to read Noah's story and to meet this Ivy chick!

Could not stop reading! I enjoyed Ava's and Zac's story. The thing that I was wondering, is if Ava and her father are going to resolve the things between them? Are Will and Janey having their own story to show more of their relationship. And Noah's book I am going to start reading in a little bit!!!!!

Well not going to lie, the girl and guy kinda irritated me in the beginning because they "didn't know what each other wanted" so basically they both pushed each other away... But this book was still incredible and still awesome!!! I'm running to book two right now!!!
