Matt’s life is turned upside down when he's arrested and must adjust to a life in jail. His relationship with his boyfriend, Jamie, is tested. This book is a novella which does contain graphic sexual scenes, and should be read by adults only.Make sure to read “New Beginnings”, the fourth installment in the “New Discoveries” series to find out what happens when Matt forms new bonds and finds new love in prison.Other Books by Matt Discoveries (Book 1 of the New Discoveries series)Broken Hearts (Book 2 of the New Discoveries series)Life Changes (Book 3 of the New Discoveries series)New Beginnings (Book 4 of the New Discoveries series)The New Discoveries Complete Collection (All 4 Books)12 Days of CraigslistA Life For Nicholas (Book 1 of The Nicholas Chronicles)A Home For Christmas (Book 2 of The Nicholas Chronicles)A Year For Change (Book 3 of The Nicholas Chronicles)The Nicholas Chronicles (All 3 Books)
1.5* - I'm not reading these anymore, even if they are free. Hyperbole confounds. The whole prison set-up is ludicrous and doesn't stand up to even the most cursory of second-glances (all the prisoners can let themselves in and out of their cells by jemmying the locks and the guard with the keys usually falls asleep in the centre of said cells, but no-one takes the keys and breaks out??). The MC is completely unsympathetic, he expects the ex to pay for everything up to and including a cruise when he gets out, despite knowing that the ex is in debt to the tune of $20k from his legal fees alone, and, I don't know, it's all just fluff trying to get a shock reaction I think. There's nothing gritty or realistic or harrowing about any of it, it's just farcical.
