After looking at my last few grocery bills, I thought I would give this a quick read. Besides I need a break from William.

I should have read the remaining part of this title because there are more recipes than anything else in here. For saving money in the kitchen tips... I already knew those, grew up knowing them. If anyone is saving money, I'm sure they already know this as well.

The word Frugal is overused as it is delicious and always veggies instead of vegetables that got to be rather annoying, but I will give the author credit for trying. There might be some ideas for making up something to eat for one or two people, along with the recipes, but if I were still cooking, I need pictures so I know what something is supposed to look like. I think it would be just as easy to look on the Internet and/or in your own cookbook.

Louise Hill has some decent tips but nothing earth shattering. The recipes are loaded with expensive pre-packaged items that I am trying to avoid.

I think this would be more helpful for new cooks. I do want to try Parmesan Egg Drop Soup.
