People make choices without knowing where they will lead. Some barely make a ripple; others will change lives forever. I made a choice. And now, even if I took it back—even if I wished my hardest that Ever had never entered my life—it wouldn’t change my reality.
I have to accept the indisputable fact that something is coming for me, and the longer I stay here, the more I’m putting those closest to me in danger.

Wren Sullivan didn’t know if she would live another moment when she stepped through the mirror to save her family and friends from her choice to love Ever Casey. But when she wakes up in an unfamiliar place under the watchful eye of an elderly caretaker, she doesn’t remember … anything. Now, she’s left to demand answers of a complete stranger—a copper-haired young man with piercing blue eyes, who tells her he has an offer to make.
This was an okay sequel, but I found that it dragged a bit.
Wren was very similar in this book to the first book, she was still quite naïve, and still liked match-making. She even became a bit more self-sacrificing in this book.
The storyline in this was just too slow for me, and I found it a little dull. The love triangle took an interesting turn, but that was one of the few things that actually interested me. The ending was okay, but it did feel like this wouldn’t be the last we would hear from Wren and Ever. 6 out of 10
It's ok. All this running and hiding didn't make a lot o sense to me. I think I just kinda lost interest about half way through. And now everything is fine? Because 4 of the bad guys are no more- is that all there was? 4? Because I thought there was buckets I bad guys. Maybe I missed something. Idk. 1+1 just didn't equal 2 with this book. I am left feeling confused.
