"Dating The White Billionaire", An Interracial BWWM Romance By Lena Skye
Camille is a young, ambitious African American woman who lands herself a new job as personal assistant to young Billionaire, Kyle Kane. Kyle is the sexiest white guy that Camille has ever seen and concentrating at work is not going to be easy with such a dreamboat around.
However, things get very interesting when Kyle suggests that her job as personal assistant is set to be much more "PERSONAL" then she first imagined but is she just yet another one of the Billionaires play things? Warning: This story does contain scenes of a sexual nature and is the type of book your mama will have warned you about. This black woman & white man interracial romance is a 25,000 word novella.
I really wanted to like this book but the more I read it the more I disliked it. This was another recap type story that moved fast but nothing really came out of it. The sex scenes in it were bland and little to nothing was told about the relationship outside of it. Not enough to get me to read more, which says a lot because the book was free.
OMG I have now had an opportunity to read the FREE BOOK I am truly hooked. I have now brought the box set so I can finish the whole story. This is Camille and Kyle's story by Lene Skye my first book by her and what a story it is. The story had me from page 1. I found it engaging, gripping and romantic. It has a Dom/sub theme to it. If you got the free book you have to get the rest of the series because if you are like me you have to find out what happens to this couple and whether they can overcome the obstacles coming their way! I would highly recommend this book and series!
When I read books like these, I often wonder if these authors have done any research of the corporate world or worked in a company one day in their lives. The plot was stupid, but the characters were ok.
Alright, book lovers, gather ‘round, because I’ve got a steamy, sassy, and utterly addictive romance to dish about. And to those who didn’t vibe with this one? Well, maybe it’s time to loosen up and enjoy a little fictional fun—because Dating the White Billionaire (The White Billionaire #1) by Lena Skye is serving up the kind of romance that’ll have you smiling like you just found a hidden stash of chocolate (or, you know, a billionaire boss with a thing for strong-willed women).
Let’s talk about Camille. She’s brash, bold, and yes, she’s got that “around the way girl” flair that makes her one of the most entertaining leading ladies I’ve encountered in a hot minute. If you’re looking for a demure, cookie-cutter heroine, Camille is not your girl. But if you want someone who’s unapologetically herself and can go toe-to-toe with a billionaire? Then buckle up, because this ride is about to get wild.
Enter Kyle Kane, the dreamy white billionaire who turns up the heat in every scene he’s in. From the moment Camille walks into his office, you just know things are going to get interesting—and boy, do they ever. Kyle’s got all the makings of a classic romance hero: rich, ridiculously good-looking, and ready to break all his own rules when Camille saunters into his life. The chemistry between these two is electric, and watching them navigate their “personal” business arrangement is pure entertainment.
Now, I get it—some folks out there might have had a hard time with the idea of a brassy heroine and a billionaire boss getting hot and heavy in the workplace. But come on, people, it’s fiction! And what’s fiction for if not to indulge in a little bit of fantasy, especially when it’s this much fun?
Lena Skye nailed it with the dynamic between Camille and Kyle. They’re not your typical couple, but that’s exactly what makes their story so captivating. Sure, Kyle’s sudden declaration of love might feel a little abrupt, but when you’ve got this much chemistry, sometimes you just have to roll with it. Plus, let’s be honest—if a sexy billionaire told you he loved you, would you really be complaining?
The only downside? This book is too short! I was just getting into the groove when it ended, leaving me hungry for more. Luckily, there’s a whole series to devour, and trust me, you’re going to want to see what happens next. I’ve already snagged the box set, because once you start with Dating the White Billionaire (The White Billionaire #1), there’s no turning back.
So, to all my fellow romance addicts: if you’re looking for a read that’s got sass, steam, and a heroine who’s not afraid to speak her mind, Dating the White Billionaire (The White Billionaire #1) is calling your name. Grab a copy, dive in, and let yourself get swept up in the whirlwind that is Camille and Kyle’s romance. And hey, if you love this as much as I did, stick around—I’ve got plenty more bookish delights to share!
Happy reading, and remember: sometimes, you just have to sit back, relax, and let the fiction take you for a ride. 📚❤️

First time reader of this author, never know what to expect. Though I’m not a big fan of novellas this short, I am sometimes surprised. This one was kinda disappointing. The start/basis of the relationship to begin with threw me off. I wasn’t endeared to either character tbh. Kyle comes off as a rich, white nepo baby that is not to be taken seriously. He’s alpha with all these boundaries with women, but not really since you have a submissive/PA that works at your business and you don’t even know her yet to know if it’s a good fit for either? Camille is a contradiction- presented as the the street smart ex drug dealer that has seen it all, but she is the girl next door with high morals that’s cultured and refuses to cross certain lines…but you sign up to be a hired concubine/submissive/secretary🤔??? The story telling was rushed, didn’t make a lot of sense and constantly contradicted everything we are told about the characters. Maybe the curse of the short novella, but it needs to make some kind of sense. Author should prob do research on subjects in the books to make sure the come across more authentic (ex: business works,dom/sub dynamics, etc) also wanted better character building/consistent storytelling that made sense. Guess that’s why this book was free🤷🏽♀️
Camille was an only child to a mother who cared only for herself. She grew up with her friend Marcus who was her friend and eventually became her boyfriend. That relationship ended when Marcus and Camille's so-called girlfriend were having sex behind her back and the girl, Chasity, ended up pregnant and Marcus left her for the mother of his child. Camille gets fired from her job because she didn't show up for work and has to look for another job. She has no experience to really get anything, but she was a personable and confident woman. She applies for a job which she is not necessarily qualified for but she does it and get it. I can't wait to read the complete series book that I purchased when I found it out there and will let you know how it turns out. I am sure there will be lies, betrayal and secrets but we will see how it comes out in the end. What a read.
Camille and Kyle are a sizzling pair. I could feel their sexual tension as I read through the pages, but what I found lacking was their everyday relationship. The Amanda characters was the perfect villain of the book, but I would have liked to see more interaction between the three of them. The overall blow up tipping point was perfect, but the make up session seemed a little far fetched. Now at the end of the book, we're told this is the end for now...so I guess I'll have to read the next installment to get more answers.
Omg omg wow. Sinful! Camille was quite a character. Kyle has met his match. She takes no bullshit. I loved her sassiness. Kyle seriously needs to marry her. They are exquisitely perfect for each other. And yes Amanda was a bitch. She had her chance with him and she blew it. Marcus can go take a fast walk down a short pier. We don't need him. Kyle and Camille forever!
I just finish reading Dating the white Billionaire and I really enjoy reading it. The storyline keep me interest through the whole book. The love science was great too and I am telling my friends about the book and I know like what I read and they will read this one too. The writer was good for the book and I will more of her books
This is ok, very fast paced. I was actually shocked when it ended only to only be the ending for now...I am personally just not a fan of cliffhangers. This couple does have chemistry and I like that Camille is a go-getter but as far as a relationship, there isn't enough depth to make them being in love seem real.
This is my first book by Ms. Skye. The dialogue flowed and was so authentic. Camilla was street smart and elegant. She applied for a job with Kyle an investor. The job was for a personal assistant but with benefits. There were barriers and setbacks but they achieved a HFN... it didn’t actually end on a cliffhanger but there is more to come!
Dating The White Billionaire (BWWM interracial Romance Book 1)
This was a odd book, but good .It was fast paste and page turning. Camellia and Kyle got it going on.Can't wait to read what is going to happen with them in book ,2.
Kyle is hiring a personal assistant. Camille wants the job and can't believe she gets it. Her other decision is to have a sexual relationship with him at his request.
I'm sorry but I hated reading this book, Camille too quick to open her legs, to quick with becoming a sub who has never had that kind of experience, to quick to fall for Kyle and they were to quick to fall in love........WTF, none of this book made sense plus the storytelling was so rushed. I hate to read a story that was running to fast for the plot to unfold, I liked to be teased, in suspension, toyed, get my brain and emotion Involved in the characters lives and their thought process. No this book was definitely not for me, it was too cliche, no romance, no heat, no challenges, no build up, it was a terrible read. I would not be buying the sequel to this book, I have other books by this author in my shelf on kindle and reading this book has not tempted me to even search for those other books in fact it's going to take me a long time to try and read any of those books. This was awful to read. I'm sorry for this review as I love a book that has a bit more bite and can carry me along across the waves of emotional sea of currents. I could not wait to finish this book as I grimaced, groaned and rolled my eyes throughout the whole process of reading this book. I like the independent female who needs to be chased and conjured into submission and I like my alpha male's to be a real dominant cold hunter gather, taking no is NOT in his vocabulary, but plays game to win his target with pleasure.
This was a really good book and I enjoyed it and stayed up last night to finish it. I actually got the entire book all episodes together in one book!It was very different from what I am used to with regards to romances. I liked the episodes and how you would go to different phases in the characters relationship. I also liked the sentence that gave you insight into the next chapter, but I will say the catch up from each episode was a little awkward in this book and could sometimes be a bit annoying-you are already flowing with the book and desperate to know what happens next and then you backtrack. It takes you awhile to get used to it and I think this was a bit bumpier because it was the first book, but by the Pretty Fly for a White Guy book the formula was working and I really got into it. I liked the spicy, adult romance in this book and the genuine affection and love-it just happened fast and felt a little rushed occasionally. I would have liked a little more insight into the hero's past but thought Camille was really well fleshed out and while full of flaws and sometimes messiness she is super funny and relatable. I really enjoyed Lena's style and the story she wove around me. Great new series and I look to see and read more.
This book was free on Barnes & Noble and it's the first I've read by the author (I think). It probably would have been better had it been longer and the ending didn't have to get rushed, that was my biggest issue really. The topic was ok; white guy wants to dominate black chick, and he'll pay her handsomely for the privilege, ok, I guess I can dig it. That whole domination, S&M, whips, and butt plugs thing isn't me, but some folks might be in the "don't knock it 'til you try it" category. Camille and Kyle, two totally different people from different backgrounds who actually find a connection neither expected. There was a scene when Kyle was first broaching the subject of Camille being at his "disposal" that had me rolling with laughter that referenced a certain former president(TJ) and the slave woman he allegedly loved(SH)! Kyle's reaction to what Camille said was priceless! The book is probably still free, so if for no other reason than that quick little laugh, get it.
