Every Good Thing: Satisfying Your Hunger for God

Rate this book
"The lions may grow weak and hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing" - Psalm 34:10, NIV. Chances are you've never experienced severe physical hunger. Now, you might have missed a meal or two, but most of us can't imagine what it is like to go months, or even years, without enough food. But you may know the familiar ache of another kind of spiritual hunger. The longing for something more, to know God better. Whether it is an occasional craving, a case of spiritual malnutrition, or near starvation--something is definitely missing. Fortunately, you don't have to stay hungry. Within these pages Pastor Mike Tucker reveals how changing your spiritual habits will turn your crumbs into a feast. Based on lessons from the Psalms, each chapter of this book presents a spiritual habit, such as repentance, prayer, community, rest, praise, and meditation. With inspiring biblical passages, practical suggestions, and thought-provoking exercises, Every Good Thing will draw you closer to the God who satisfies every spiritual longing.
