As always, the art in Lil’ Gotham is beautiful and adorable at the same time. The authors do a great job of capturing the essence of the Batfam in this series and showing how there are gaps in Damian’s knowledge due to his upbringing.
There are two short stories in this edition. One centers around Halloween and the other on Thanksgiving. Both are relatively short. The action is wrapped up quickly, but it’s charm makes up for that.
This series is good for all ages and a good place for young readers or young people interested in comics to start. It’s clean and a good introduction into the Batman side of DC Comics.
Nice little stories. The graphics and scenes were awesome. My little one liked it a whole lot. I must admit I liked it too. The watercolor on the illustrations was perfect for this type of book. Great Lil Gotham.
Free at Comixology This includes the first 2 issues (Halloween and Thanksgiving). A short, cute read with Damian as Robin - this makes a nice change from the usual superhero angst and drama.
That poses a decent question, actually. In a world where superheros and villains did exist, halloween might be a dangerous time because all the villains can blend in.
It's a freebie and it combines the Halloween (part 1) and Thanksgiving (I think part 2 - I'll have to check later) stories so anyone who is still stupidly been avoiding this one can pick it up and give it a shot.
I will say it keeps getting better with each read now it's all the little things that I'm picking up on. The Easter eggs are everywhere. You just gotta let it happen. I love this book.
Amazing issue. I couldn't put it down. Very funny.
It was a good starting issue for the series and for fellow Batman fans, KEEP READING THIS HILARIOUS SERIES. Those who don't like batman, why even bother if you don't like him
