The most addictive set of books I've ever read. There are 8 in total including Atlas. Each story takes the reader back in time and to somewhere different in the world. Themes include: love, loss, family tragedy, family mystery, culture and history.
I LOVED this series! Every book takes place in a different country and has dual timelines. While some of the books were better than others, overall it was one of the best series I’ve read in a while.
Incredible series. Lucinda takes you on a journey with each sister while simultaneously still connecting each sister (book) to an overall theme. Each book is so well researched that it pulls you into a sensory journey that envelopes you completely in the surroundings, history and characters that you dont want to put the books down. Such a wonderful and clever writer.

It is one of the best book collections I've ever read! I love how the author transports us not in one different universe but 2 in the same book. The story is really interesting, finding out with the sisters about their past is just incredible and the mystery behind pa salt and the seventh sister, just makes you want to read all the books in a day.
