Alternate-cover edition for ASIN: B00EWSE6R4

Nineteen year-old Amy’s love life sucks. A year ago, she thought Joshua Jackson was the man of her dreams, until one night, his brother refused to take ‘no’ for an answer, and her dream evaporated. Searching for love in a string of meaningless relationships, she finally gives up, realising no one else will ever live up to her dream of Josh. All Amy wants now is to spend her long awaited holiday relaxing and trying to forget, but her sister has other plans, and sets her up on a hot date that changes everything.

Josh would rather be anywhere other than Greece. It isn’t the country he dislikes; it’s the company. Being forced to work out his differences with his brother was not how he’d planned to spend his summer. So far he’s stuck to his good behaviour promise, but when the cause of the dispute turns out to be his blind date, family loyalties are the last thing on his mind, and he is determined not to waste the second chance and lose her all over again.

Kiss the Tiger is a new adult, romance novel containing language and sexual situations that may not be appropriate for readers under 18.

DNF. The reason I could not finish this book was choices the heroine continued to make. Spoilers ahead!!The heroine was raped her first time by the brother of a guy she loved. She is vacationing in a foreign country with her sister who only thinks about having sex with strange men. Suddenly her sister is trying to hook up with J.J or Jason or Adam or Jacko I was confused. Turns out one is the h's rapist and the other her ex. Instead of telling her sister straight out she is talking to her rapist?! She tries to figure out how she is going to protect her sis from being raped by continuing this front of a double date?! While they all keep alluding to the night she was raped but the rapist doesn't remember it and her ex thinks she cheated?! All the while this bs is going on she is drinking like fish around rapist who raped her when she was drunk?! Some how she ends up drunk/drugged and about ready to be raped again by a stranger who she some how thinks is her ex so she is liking it?! She doesn't realize it's not josh or Jason?! If it wasn't for her sis she would of been raped twice in a year?! By two different guys? Wth!! i can't read this. I'm done!

Was ok and the story had premise, but I just found it odd and unrealistic at times and slightly rushed. Could not connect with the characters at all.

I'll start by saying I got this book for free from Amazon. I think that helped me enjoy the book a lot more than if I had paid for it in all honesty.

This book showed a lot of promise. I thought it was going to be filled with some drama, a heroine who was getting over a rough experience and the POV of the romantic love interest--but that this wasn't the case.

Based on the synopsis, it seemed to me like they were going to stress Amy's "relationship" with Josh's brother more. However, they barely touch upon it and when they do, I find that they don't take the issue seriously enough. Sexual assault is a serious crime and in this book they treat it as if it is just something blasé which really disappointed me and left a sour note in my mind when I was reading. Which is a shame because I thought Amy and Josh were super cute together and I liked their scenes together.

As far as drama goes, it's your typical miscommunication scenarios and so while it did help push the plot forward, it just wasn't anything new to me.

I also didn't get the timeframe of the book. It's been over a year since the "event" and Amy and Josh carry on like nothing happened or it's just been a few months. I just felt like if they liked each other that much, they wouldn't have waited as long as they did. Then when they reunite, it happens a little too fast for me considering they haven't talked in over a year and before that year they didn't talk to each other too much (or at least that is the impression I get). Besides their physical attraction to each other, I didn't see why else they liked each other and I wish the book emphasised this a bit more.

Also, my final peeve--I don't really get the title. I understand where it comes from after reading the book but I don't get the metaphor...

If you want a cute story about second chances, an exotic vacation and some mild sister drama, grab this book when it's free again on Amazon.

Great story, builds and builds to the ending and it just falls down.

Amy used to stalk Josh in college and always wanted him to notice her.
Josh always noticed Amy but she turned down 'two top guys' on campus, he was afraid she'll turn him down. When he finally works up the courage, his older brother, the golden boy of the family, beat him to Amy and basically raped her. Now a year later in Greece Josh is there visiting or dealing with his manipulative brother. Amy us there with her sister Nessie, their mom and her friend, enjoying a week vacation but Any don't know Josh aka J.J. is there and his sick brother Jacko aka Adam owns a bar that Amy and her sister visit. Image what happened when Amy sees the sicko that broke her heart and the man that she stills sees every night in her dreams.

while it was a quick read, the characters needed more umph, a bit more excitement. I have the other books in the series but not sure if I want to read them. maybe the characters get better, more exciting.

Who hasn't wanted to go on holiday and meet the man of your dreams? Even if you've already known them, and wanted them... Wow, pretty convenient. Overall, pretty solid.

Cute story, but the ending was flat and empty. Also how does the situation with his brother not come up?

Great. So amazing.

Loved the story. Really connected with Amy. Wish there was another book to continue Nessie's story with Garrett. Yay for happy endings!

Good Book

This was a good book. It could of have a better ending, what happen in a year. Unless it's part two, with her sister in it, and they both in it.
