این کتاب، اصطلاحات انگلیسی رو در قالب صحبت‌های روزمره خانواده‌ باب به صورت داستانی آموزش میده. بعد از پایان هر داستان، تست و جای خالی برای محک زدن وجود داره و هر پنج درس درمیون هم، ریویوی کلی و کراس‌ورد پازل قرار داده که بتونین با تمرین و تکرار، یادگیری و کاربردشون رو ملکه ذهنتون کنین.
اگرچه برای کسی که یکم فیلم و سریال‌بین باشه، اصطلاحات به گوشش آشناست ولی برای کسایی که می‌تونن انگلیسی صحبت کنن و میخوان در ابتدای راه، چهار تا اصطلاح هم بلد باشن کتاب خوبیه.

Another book I read to prepare to tutor English as a second language. This is a book about American idioms. The entire book consists of written vignettes of Bob and his family using an idiom or two in each exchange. At the end of the stories are descriptions of what the idioms mean. This book includes a CD where the stories are "acted out". This is an interesting way to present the material but unless a person already speaks English well, this is not going to help learn to speak English but would
probably help with the 100 or so American idioms in the book.
