Enjoy Sommerfeld trilogy of three Mennonite romances by bestselling author Kim Vogel Sawyer all under one value-priced cover. Amidst a quiet Kansas Mennonite community three women seek a place to belong. Marie is returning to reunite with her family. Beth is seeking her place among new-found family. Trina is choosing between two cherished dreams. Will each woman find a home within community and a faith on which to depend?
Award-winning, bestselling author Kim Vogel Sawyer told her kindergarten teacher that someday people would check out her book in the library. The little-girl dream came true in 2006 with the release of Waiting for Summer's Return. Kim's titles now exceed 1.5 million copies and are available in six different languages. A former elementary school teacher, she now enjoys a full-time writing and speaking ministry. Kim's passion lies in writing stories that point the reader to a deeper, more intimate relationship with God. When Kim isn't writing, you'll find her traveling with her retired military hubby, spoiling her granddarlings, petting the cats, quilting, or--as time allows--participating in community theater. Kim Vogel Sawyer takes us on a wonderful trip to a small Kansas town full of unforgettable characters. Each story in the trilogy brings us deeper into the community. And as with all Mrs. Sawyer's books, you will be encouraged with the hope of God's constant presence and care for each of us.
Loved the 1st book of this trilogy. I couldn't wait to get to the 2nd one. Then I read the 2nd book, about the daughter who was an artist. I loved it. The 3rd I was a little bit disappointed. Thus only 4 stars.
This trilogy was pretty good, but I just had higher hopes for it. Some parts felt rushed. When you finally get to the “meat and potatoes” of the story then it rushes you on to “the dessert.”
Wonderful story' included God's love never changes. Human love gets mixed with pride, doubts, unspoken truths. Only God can change hearts and put things to rights.
