Utterly Sluttily

Rate this book
Find out why readers are calling it ‘Utterly Entertaining’, ‘Utterly Delightful’, ‘Laugh out loud funny’ and ‘Sizzling Hot’. When Daisy Delaney is dumped at the altar, she has no idea how far reaching the consequences of her subsequent meltdown will be. Hot-footing it on her honeymoon to escape the humiliation and horrors unfolding on YouTube, Daisy decides to reclaim her life and re-write the rules for jilted brides everywhere. In a resort bursting with sun, sea and solid abs, Daisy soon realises that when you shed the ‘good girl’ tag and behave ‘utterly sluttily’ that just about anything can happen. Through steamy encounters and sexual firsts, she embarks on a whirlwind journey of self-discovery, until beautiful stranger, Nathan Carrington, offers her lessons in liberation she’ll never forget. Every holiday has to come to an end, but is the end of the romance just as inevitable? With a new found confidence and love of messy orgasms, as well as an international movement rallying in her defence, Daisy begins to wonder; Does everything happen for a reason? Does every cloud have a silver lining? Is strawberry daiquiri the devil or a bad girl’s best friend? ‘Utterly Sluttily’ is a contemporary, hot erotic romance containing graphic descriptions of sex and is recommended for adult readers. ‘I politely turned down Richard’s offer of a trip to town, watching him tuck his eye-watering foot long back into those transparent shorts before I waved him goodbye. I crawled out of bed, holding my digits as far away from my body as humanly possible, squeezing on the soap and washing them. Several times. I didn’t think I was a prude, but the thought of Richard’s lunch on my fingers made me feel a bit squeamish. I stared at my reflection in the mirror wondering what the hell I’d just done and what other titbits of strange fun I might be exposed to on my holiday. It was already turning out to be a lot more interesting than I'd ever anticipated and I was only three days in!’

Well, hell-oooooo Mr. Nathan Carrington!

Warning: Dangerous Swooning Ahead

When Daisy is jilted at the alter and filmed as she has a complete meltdown in front of the entire congregation, she sets off on her honeymoon (alone) to get away from... well, everything. Her Caribbean paradise affords her some major opportunities to get her groove back, one of which she wasn't quite expecting.

This book is filled to the brim with sex, and I loved it! You can't help but root for Daisy because you can't help but want to BE her. They should put this on the fantasy shelf because I was fantasizing about myself being in her shoes during her entire vacation. And that is BEFORE we meet Mr. Carrington.

And when we get there? Whoa, mama! He's utterly perfect, and made me squirm in my seat as I was reading. Charismatic, sexy as hell, a bit mysterious, flirty, and funny to boot. Literally my dream man! I'm enamoured!

This is just a fun romp that is pretty light in angst, heavy in steam, and an all around enjoyable read.

Now excuse me, while I go check out what other treasures I can find by L.J. Dee.

Absolutely loved the first half of this story. The humor was unique and witty, I found myself laughing out loud more than a couple of times. The sex was hot, the menage scene an unexpected bonus. Yum.

The second half of the story had a little more angst in it, but was still a wonderful read. I think every female should have a vaca like this BEFORE getting hitched ;)

Shock, horror and terrible humiliation!

Poor Daisy is dumped at the altar by her fiancé, "W@nker Warren." He publicly declares that he has been unfaithful for much of their betrothal period. To make matters worse, tha whole scene of her exploding fury is posted all over Youtube.

What should a girl in this situation? What can a girl do? The only option seems to be to grab the honeymoon tickets and high-tail it off to the Carribean, all inclusive resort and max out on any fun that comes her way.

Daisy does exactly that and, boy, does she go for it?!

She is very highly sexed, and is soon dragging a member(!) of staff down to the beach for a tumble amongst the rocks. The girl is insatiable and is soon bedding another member of staff, who she meets in the bar, and then happily fulfilling the fantasies of a swinging couple who she happens to meet. And she loves every second of it.

Daisy deliberately becomes the utter slut that the title of the book blatantly suggests.

I won't say much more, except that I really enjoyed the non-stop action, some truly hilarious moments, and especially WW's predicatable come-uppance. Suffice to say that this book is a lot of fun, and has a very happy ending.

When Daisy's fiance confesses to infidelity at the altar and her subsequent meltdown is filmed for posterity and posted on YouTube, she decides that she does deserve the honeymoon, and zooms off to the sun. When she gets there she re-examines her life thus far and decides to change a few things, starting with a couple of the hot resort employees. And a swinging married couple. And the resort's playboy owner. You get the picture.
This is a story of Daisy's self-discovery. It isn't a heart-warming, gentle journey full of butterflies and unicorns. After her sweary rant at her non-wedding, and the spectacular insult she levelled at her non-mother-in-law, Daisy blearily realises through a strawberry daiquiri haze that she wasn't happy anyway, and she should loosen up a bit.
This book was great. Daisy is a normal girl who went through and incredibly humiliating experience. Her reactions are all totally credible as she tries to get herself back together. The language is hilarious too! I totally loved W*nker Warren's comeuppance. Justice was served.
The hero in the form of Nathan Carrington is hot as Hades, and offers to enrol Daisy in his very own slut school. The sex scenes are sizzling hot, whether Nathan is involved or not...
This is a funny light read. It's definitely 18+ material, though.

After reading some heavy stuff recently I was up for something that made me smile. Well this book did that and so much more! Of course I was rooting for Daisy from page 1 - what woman wouldn't! Her journey of self discovery had me going through a range of emotions for her: indignation, anticipation, amusement, pride, hope, surprise and ultimately satisfaction.
What a wonderfully, well written and totally entertaining book, liberally peppered with some definitely 'panty-melting' moments:))

I totally agree with Donna J's review of this story. OK, I know this is a complete copout, but I can't say it any better or different than Donna J did so I will just put my favorite quote from this story here: "I didn't think I was a prude, but the thought of Richard's lunch on my fingers made me feel a bit squeamish."

Just finished reading this story for the second time and it is even more funny the second time around.

Crazy Daisy in-damn-deed. Wow. I loved it. After I began thinking about it this morning I compared Daisy to Goldylocks and the 3Three bears. Julio was too smooth, Mr. Aqua was too Big, but Nathan was JUST RIGHT. And just the having the threesome along the way was a bonus and a growing experience for her. The fact that she was not "properly dressed" and no one said anything was another layer as well. Hell none of the guest said anything either. But then she didn't notice they at least we're clothed? Oh well, it was funny at least. That is what all these type of books lack are the laughter. And when she saw Warren that was just icing on the cake. The fact that she had Elvis with here was even better. I loved when she turned away her guest and she thought it was her father, but she was SO wrong. Then she found out something about her mother she never wanted to know, but then the funniest thing about the" spot" on her dress was enough to have me rolling on the floor laughing. I believe her freaky friend Jenny was impressed by it all. I am very proud of Daisy with her lessons. She took her life from letting everyone else control it and decide what she wanted. And Nathan was certain she made those decisions for herself, not others.

5 OMG stars! L.J. Dee just keeps getting better with every book she writes. I have recently become a big fan of her writing. She tells wonderful erotic themed stories that are well written and so much fun to read. I actually read this book in 2 days couldn't put it down.

The main character Daisy gets jilted at the alter by a not so smart man cheating on her with a woman that does his taxes. Daisy needs a break from a major public breakdown at the church and decides to take the honeymoon they had planned by herself.

On a journey of self discovery she lets her inner hussy loose and ends up finding the one man she can't live without. This book is heartbreaking, funny, romantic, and extremely hot. You will love it!

What can I say about my own book?! I can certainly say it was a lot of fun to write! Utterly Sluttily follows jilted bride Daizy Delaney on a crazy romp around the Carribean resort she escapes to on her honeymoon for one following a seriously major meltdown in church!
In a bid to heal her wounds, Daisy discovers her inner deviant and finds for the first time in her life that it's good to be bad. This isn't a tale of angsty alphas, but that of a humiliated young woman in a killer black bikini, trying to escape notoriety on YouTube and told through her own voice. If you like humour and sex, threesomes and messy orgasms alongside your happy ever after, then I hope you enjoy reading 'Utterly' as much as I enjoyed writing it!

O.M.G. Just hilarious. Lots of tongue in cheek humor with gutsy dialogue. I laughed at the vivid situations this jilted women found herself in. It took a painful experience to force her to look deep within and emerge stronger. Crazy Daisy is no more as she embarks on the next stage of her life and takes each episode as a lesson to find her future. It is an entertaining story that is a keeper for me that I will read again soon. Now to look for more from this author as I love her style of writing and above all I enjoy her humor. A great chic-Lit read.

I enjoyed this as an amusing piece of fluff reading. I read much of the book before I stopped thinking the MC was TSTL. I liked the story but found her annoying. This is definitely something to grab if you are looking for light reading. It was well-written but probably won't make onto my list of books that I reread. The fact I wanted to smack the MC through most of the book kind of wrecked it for me. The author did a great job with character development, I just found the MC too annoying for words.

This was a really fun quick read with some good laughs involved. Daisy starts off on her honeymoon alone at an all inclusive resort determined to have some fun. She branches out and does some things outside of her normal box and ends up getting together with a g playboy named Nathan. They have fun for a week and he teaches her some things about herself but the holiday has to end and she must go home to reality. Does Nathan want more?

this book was so fun to read. The story was funny & sexy. I think any woman who was left at the altar would do exactly what daisy did. I read it in a matter of hours. what am I suppose to read now that ive read all of LJ's books?

This is my first from this author and I loved the writing style. I can't give too much away because it will ruin the book for you guys, but it was laugh out loud funny, the sex is so erotically sexy and oh my goodness I love love loved Daisy. I would definitely recommend this book for adult readers who like a little spice. I will be looking for more from this author.

This didn't do much for me, both from a storyline POV (I didn't buy into the storyline) and from a writing POV. I found the writing a bit stilted and slightly disjointed. Also some things happened in a paragraph or 2 and felt they should have been described more thoroughly. It wasn't as funny as I had been expecting.

Now this was well worth reading. I have never laughed so hard in my life reading a book. The antics of "crazy Daisy" are off the charts funny. And ohh God her mother! Now that was priceless. My stomach is still aching from laughing so hard at that. This is a book well worth reading!

I've read this book about 4 times, and each time I read it I enjoy it. This is really an up to date, erotic fairytale, and I like it.

This is a fun book about a good girl who does what everyone else wants her to do who is jilted at the alter part way through her wedding service. She picks herself up, goes on the honeymoon trip on her own and grows up. She begins by taking control of her sex life, and then her own life; finding love and happiness with Prince Charming.

It's not deep, but it's fun with a happy ending. It's a charming story that lifts your spirits. I will read it again.
