Secondhand Mom
Daisy's mother is eccentric, to put it mildly. Daisy love's her mother's free, wild ways until she becomes school aged and begins to realize other mothers don't sing in the library, or read Tarot cards to customers in restaurants. Daisy's mother befriends one of the conservative mothers, and Daisy loves her and longs to be part of her normal life. However, when the day comes that Daisy's mother unexpectedly passes away, her mother's friend Louise DOES take Daisy in and things are not as she'd imagined they would be. This book was an okay read. I think it would have had a better outcome if it was a little longer. There was no character development.
Pretty quick read. And when i say quick i mean like 15 minutes at most haha
