Yet another good photography book. I am learning digital photography and this one is a treat to read. I am almost devouring though the material. The explanation is crystal clear and makes sense. Not very technical yet maintains the balance and clearly explains the concept. I guess that's what photography is all about. Maintaining good balance.

Even as someone who is pretty well-versed on this topic, I learned some things from this book! This is a well-rounded look at photography from camera settings to gear to photograph as art form

If you have any interest in taking your photography to the next level or just creating better pieces for you own use, this is the book you need. I was very impressed with how Mr. Youn took what I thought were complicated procedures and explained them simply. I feel like I learned a new language after reading this book and my travel photos will be so much better. The tips about nighttime photography and fireworks photography were really helpful and I'm looking forward to implementing them.

This book is a great investment and well worth your time.

The book would serve the beginning to intermediate audience and does not exclusively cover high-end (professional) cameras, so it was ideal for me. The beginning covers all the basics that a casual user of a good point-and-shoot camera might need when looking at all the camera's features. Later chapters cover more of the artistic intangibles. The book has great balance.
