Ascertain his guilt during his impeachment for treason and the murder of six Navy SEALs. Experience the twists and turns of a life seemingly out of control.
My thoughts on this book: 5 stars, hands down! Perry Perrett writes with such intelligence and poise. His mixture of military jargon and political writings combined with grace and faith is flawless. The book flows beautifully yet at the same time yearns for you to read on. From the explosive first scenes of his encounter with the bear while hunting, Josh become a character of familiarity. He’s real and his conflicts and decisions he makes through-out are wrought with worry, tension and faith. He trusts his God and he is an exemplary leader to his men in Afghanistan, which pivots the tone of this book.
One Example: In the midst of securing a position to get his men out of the line of fire and complex his task at hand, he stops and prays a prayer:
“Lord, help us. Give me the needed strength, and may your hand be with us. Lord, be glorified through your servant.”
Through political entanglement, judgement and dishonor, questions of loyalty and aspiration in the political arena, this book is intriguing and thought-provoking. On a personal note, I grew up as a military ‘brat’ and identified with this book in so many ways and found it most refreshing to review Twisted Wolf.

My Review
“Twisted Wolf” by Perry Perrett is definitely a book many people would enjoy reading. The many twists and turns of this story are so intricate – we dare not tell too much. This could be the story of anyone. It describes a President, as a human being with weaknesses and strengths like any other man. Every temptation known to man is presented and the story surrounds one mans’ responses to it. The horrific traumas, trials, and loses are vividly portrayed in a way that we are brought into the action. The David and Bathsheba similarities are awesome and Mr. Perretts’ use of imagery is wonderful. The things this character overcomes is astounding and in this persons opinion a great read. This is a book written with great imagination, good story line and inspirational life lessons to be applied! I would recommend it for Christians and non Christians alike.
"Twisted Wolf" by Perry Perrett is definitely a 5 star book. This book is fiction but it could be real. It kept me turning the pages to see what was going to happen next. This story is about betrayal and trust. It is two days before Thanksgiving and Army Lieutenant Josh Davis is home on military leave and is attacked by a bear while hunting. He shouldn't have survived but he does! When he is well enough he goes backs to the Army and earns the Congressional Medal Of Honor. When he retires from the Army, he is asked to run the race to become the President Of The United States and he agrees. He becomes the president. But then his troubles really starts. His father-in-law who is the former President is shot and killed. Then while President Josh Davis is on vacation he gives into temptation and his marriage and his presidency is in danger! And because of his giving in to temptation he is accused of murder. This books shows us that we need to trust God and even when we do fail and fall God is there to help us stand up again. The ending was surprising as it leaves me wondering if there is another book coming! I certainly hope so. I believe Christians and non Christians would like this book!
Twisted Wolf takes a reader through the highs and lows of seeking higher rankings, along with the struggles with friends and enemies one can experience when attempting to advance in such instances. Perrett takes the reader along to see how a character in such circumstances can easily struggle when he goes at it with too much confidence by himself, creating more problems than solutions. Good story one can relate to in real life experiences as they advance in their career, relationship, and social statuses.

Facing temptations and struggling with faith, Josh Davis is presented as a guy we can all relate to who wants to do something great with his life but gets in his own way. With a parallel to the Bible story of David and Bathsheba, this modern-day story takes you onto the battlefield, behind closed doors at the White House, and in the courtroom before the eyes of the world as the president has to answer to the charges of murder and immorality. Twisted Wolf shows the dangers and struggles a man faces when put to the test. With faith as an underlying theme and issue at the center of the story, Twisted Wolf delivers a punch not just to the gut but to the heart as well.
My Review:
Author: Perry Perrett ISBN: 978-0-9888438-0-6
I really wanted to love this book, unfortunately I would not get into the writing style and feel like I was a part of the book. Instead I felt like a bystander merely watching from the outside. The book was kind of depressing as you watch Josh’s life spin out of control while his wife is pretty passive about the whole thing. The book moves really slow for the first quarter, picks up some but I simply could not get past the authors writing style, despite the decent plot to the story. After all who does not need Gods total forgiveness for our sinful lives? I know I do. I did enjoy how he twisted military life and politics with biblical faith. Overall I would give this book 4 starts.

A few days after Christmas (when I got my Kindle), I started looking for Christian books, and then I found this one. I didn't want to put it down! It's a great story about faith, forgiveness, courage, honesty, and other good values! Definitely would recommend it!!!
I liked the fact that it was written from a Christian viewpoint. The story also kept me very involved. The problem I had with this book was the terrible editing and proof reading. At many times I had to re-read to figure out the speaker. This dropped my rating.
I enjoyed reading this book. I had a hard time with how the characters were established over several years in just a few pages. It felt rushed. I am not an author so this is just my opinion. I would consider reading other books by this auther.
Ok book two many players in the book. A good story and the outcome was great but would of like d the bDay guys to get their comeuppance. So I am a little disappointed with the ending.but still enjoyed the story
