This book is the ultimate mad scientist's handbook and/or zombie apocalypse electrical survival guide. It teaches a lot about early electromagnetic technology, including how to make rudimentary batteries, circuits, electromagnets, and dynamos. I give this book four stars instead of five only because the Kindle edition lacks the diagrams that are referenced in the text. However, if you have Wikipedia handy when you read the book, you can easily compensate for not having the appropriate diagrams.
