From Bestselling Paranormal Romance Author Lisa Olsen - Book Five of The Fallen"This isn't going to just go away, no matter what you tell yourself. The next time you're with Parker you're going to be thinking about that kiss." Adam's voice dropped, low and intimate; it caressed me as surely as any touch on my skin. "I'll go now, but this isn't over, not by a long shot."In Book V of The Fallen, three years have passed since Mercy chose a stable life with Parker instead of fallen angel, Adamiel. Only the supernatural community isn't done with Mercy and Eve, not by a long shot. Lucifer's made it no secret that he has designs on the Child of Light, and is tired of waiting in the shadows for Eve to come of age. His interference brings Adam back to Mercy's doorstep and into her life, whether she wants him there or not. The arrival of Archangel Michael both simplifies and complicates things as we learn how many are drawn to Eve's Grace. As circumstances force Mercy to rely more and more on Adam, she wonders if people can change, even the Fallen. But even if she could admit to the long buried feelings bubbling to the surface again, can she trust Adam to learn what it is to love someone more than himself for a change? Editorial ReviewMercy is back and better than ever! We last saw Mercy in domestic bliss, living with Parker and daughter, Eve. (Not to mention Nelo!) This time Mercy will go to Heaven and Hell if that's what it takes to keep her daughter safe in Mercy for the Fallen. Thanks to Lucifer's interference, 3 year old Eve's use of the Grace winds her up on the evening news, and Mercy knows she has to do something to mask her power. Only how do you go about hiding something of that magnitude from divine and demon eyes alike? Plenty of old friends are back to help her find the Sam, Daphne, Remiel, Gabriel, Matty, Oriana, and plenty of old enemies as well. But Mercy might find the price steeper than she wants to pay. This one left me teary eyed in at least three places, the sign of a sure winner in my books, and a satisfying end to Mercy's saga. Mostly I just loved seeing Adam in action again. I only hope she continues with Eve's story in the future. I can't wait to find out what happens when the Child of Light comes "of age".

There is no greater love than that between a parent and a child... and that is truly shown in this book, time and time again. Not just Mercy, but Parker, and Adam they all love Evie and they want what is best. They do not always agree what that is, and sometimes they screw up trying to do what is best, but there is no doubt they love her. My heart shattered for Mercy in this book sooo many times, it just seems that she will never be happy, and never catch a break. I wanted nothing more than for her to have her happily ever after! I cannot say too much on this one without spoilers because I literally just finished it, but I will say this is a series to re-read, and to enjoy the humor and the little snide comments, and the tender special moments, and "don't you worry your pretty little heads about it" you will enjoy every single one of them....

WOW, this book has so many twists and turns. My emotions were taken for a ride. I have come to find out, if the book is by Lisa Olsen, you're going to be ravished. What an adventure. I loved meeting Michael the Arch Angel. There was plenty of action also. This book ran the gamut. There was a fairly steamy sex scene. For a couple of chapters I was pretty P O'd at Lisa Olsen. Why! I raged at the book! Please do yourself a favor and get your copy NOW!. From a true Fan... Pam James.
The best book in the series was saved for the last imho. I stretched this series out as long as I could. I was dreading the ending and predicted pouting on my part when I finished this last book. I have to say, this last book didn't disappoint and left me satisfied. I'm sad it's over but I love the way it ended.
Loved this series from the first paragraph to the end. I almost threw my kindle out the window towards the end ugly cry time.... Another stellar series by Lisa Olsen I highly recommend this book series and anything else she pens.
I love this entire series. The suspense, the tears, and even the moments that I should have put the book down. Wonderfully told story of sacrifice and love.
