It's a year on from their joint wedding and things are hectic - the Christmas kind of hectic. Join Jackson & Edie and Jeremy & Ava as they celebrate the festive season with six year old Oscar and eighteen month old Olive.
Kasey Millstead is a wife and mother of four children. She lives in a picturesque location in country New South Wales, Australia.
Kasey is the author of the #1 bestselling Down Under Cowboy series. She is also the author of The Steele Investigations series, Fighting to Stay and Illicit Desire.
When she is not busy writing, racing around after her children and husband or trying to avoid doing housework, she enjoys nothing more than curling up with a good book and getting lost in the world of Happy Ever After.
This book is suppose to be read as the book in the Down Under Cowboy series, but I discovered that they are mismarked and it is actually the 4th book in the series.
It was a cute Christmas story. I love this series. I am skipping my detailed review because I am super pissed off I read these out of order. I'll get back on track when I finish the real book 2. PS this was a quick read.
Cowboy Christmas (A Henley Christmas Novella) (Down Under Cowboys 2.5) By: Kasey Millstead 4/5 stars
I just can’t get enough of the Henley brothers. The first thing that is different with this book, is that it is told from both Edie & Jackson’s points of view, whereas book 1 was told from Eden’s POV only and book 2 was told from Ava’s view only. But I myself really like the dual POVs.
This book takes place 1 year after the double Henley wedding in book 2. Jackson & Edie have Olive and are pregnant with their second child, while Jeremy & Ava have Oscar and are still trying to get pregnant.
This book goes through their family preparations for Christmas and Christmas and through the birth of Jackson & Edie’s second child. And leaves us hanging for Jules’ story.
I’m ready to see more of the Down Under Cowboy crew in the next book, coming out soon!
I'm always up for spending more time with my Henley boys, Jackson that boy is just as horny as ever when it comes to his woman, "one hand rests on her stomach, while the other wipes the sweat from her forehead. My di** twitches. If she ain't the sexiest woman alive, I'd like to see who is." Jeremy oh he hasn't changed a bit either, "you hear my woman, she's hungry. Fire up that piece of s*** you call a Barbie and let's get this show on the road." And Jackson he still can't help but talk about his superhero sperm, "next time we'll plan it a bit more carefully," I tell her. Then, I add on a grin, "But, I can't help it if my sperm are super swimmers." The holidays just got a whole lot better thanks to these two cowboys.
Cowboy Christmas starts twelve months after the double wedding of Jackson Henley to Eden Cross and Jeremy Henley to Ava Crawley. Join the two couples and their children along with all of their friends and family as they share a wonderful Christmas together. This is a short novella but one I am sure lovers of the Down Under Cowboy Series will thoroughly enjoy.
What was the purpose of this ? Like this could have been an epilogue. I think that because it was made a book I couldn't enjoy it . It was beautiful. I love this couple . I'm glad a lot of it was Jackson's P.O.V FINALLY!!! but making this it's own book was unnecessary. or you could have done more by also updating on Jeremy and Ava also and not just through Jackson and Eden . but I do love this couple well both of them really .
Love me a little bit of the Henleys! Totally relate to these people being Aussie. I may not be from the country but I love bring able to relate to the hot Christmas and yes I did sing read Aussie Jingle Bells.
This was a quick read featuring your two favorite couples, Jeremy & Ava and Jackson & Edie. Edie is pregnant with Jackson's second child during the holiday season. Of course nothing can be completely drama free for the Henley family. Fun book!
I loved going back to the gang and OMG another baby in the mix *yay*. Loved this read and going back to Pine Creek. Looking forward to reading Jules story
Sweet Christmas story. Some drama, some lovin', and a great description of Christmas in the Southern Hemisphere. Looking forward to the next two books in the series.
