Paranormal Dark Fantasy Vampire Romance

Book 1: Daughter of Darkness
Good or Evil? How’s a girl to choose?

Gwyneth Stevens, born of magical descent and raised by humans, fully understands that creatures of the night exist outside of books and movies. When her job leads her to Necro’s Magik World & Supernatural Theme Park, she meets Pallo, an Italian vampire so captivating, so perfect and so familiar. Before she can fully explore her feelings for him, fate steps in, bringing with it a sexy bounty hunter who makes Gwen’s insides tighten and her body burn. Caleb instantly lays claim to her heart.

Torn between her love for two men, Gwen finds herself caught in a triangle shrouded in passion, lust and immortality. In a world where humans live in ignorance and supernaturals are a sub-culture, anything is possible.

Book 2: The Enchantress
When the Siren calls, the men follow. Led by the song of the Enchantress men will do almost anything, including kill the one they love.

When Caleb is called away to track the Enchantress, Gwen is left in the hands of her new best friends, Caradoc and James. Sick, and alone, Gwen finds herself plagued by bizarre dreams involving Pallo and robed monks. The dreams take on a sexual nature, and when Gwen is left mating with Pallo's vampire side, she finds out things are not always as they appear.

Book 3: Bella Mia
The sins of our past are never far behind…

On the run from two men who want her, Gwyneth Stevens finds herself at the door of a third-Giovanni Baldassare, master vampire and former henchman of her father, the King of the Dark Realm. When Pallo and Caleb resurface, all hell breaks loose and old habits die hard. Out of time and places to hide, Gwen must face her destiny head on if she ever hopes to find happiness. Can the triangle of lovers make welcome a newcomer, or will the group succumb to old enemies resurfacing and centuries-old grudges, allowing history to repeat itself?

This story contains mature situations, paranormal elements, graphic violence, gore, strong language, explicit sex, the loss of child, and a women's love for multiple men. It is not intended for the faint of heart.

Absolutely LOVED this Trilogy. I could not put my tablet down for 4 days. Yep, i read them all in that time. Like I said, The plot was Fantastic ! kept twisting and turning. I had no idea what Roth would do to fix this huge mess Gwynn had created between so many hunky men. I was rooting for Pallo the whole way so the ending was a bitch to handle. But it still ended great! I WANT more . This story could go so much further because of the orb at the end showing them what "futures" they had a a big "happy" family. I want more. LOL.
Amazing books that I was more into than 50SOG!

**May contain spoilers!**

I have to admit when I started this trilogy, I did so with a closed mind but out of boredom I decided to read them anyways. I had read reviews and let them put a bad taste in my mouth, with that being said, I am so glad I read them myself.

I went back and forth with liking the main character, Gwen. She was hot headed, hurtful and annoying. And I really didn't get into why she was so fascinated with Pallo, Caleb I could see but not Pallo. I was frustrated that every man seemed to fall in love with her and how self important she seemed to be. But I kept reading, and as the books evolved so did my feelings. She took me on an emotional roller coaster with an ending that made me cry in anger and loss and then turn that around to tears of joy.

When book two ended with Gwen flying off with Giovanni, for the first time I really was happy for her. The jealousy, rage and verbal abuse of Pallo had made me dislike him more and more. Caleb never sat right with me either and even though I knew they feared Giovanni, I still hoped for the best. This made the third book bring me to all those emotions that I stated above, and how I wished for my own soul mate to fly in a window and whisk me away as well.

I feel like this book was developed over the course of the trilogy at just the right pace and with an amazing ending. It isn't going to be for just any body though, there will be those who fight with the concept of multiple lovers and the intense sex scenes, however for me, they added to this already moving story.

Once the story got going

3 Stars because it took at least 5/8ths of the way to totally catch my attention. At first Gwyneth seems to be a little/lot scattered and emotions are all over the place concerning Pallo & Caleb. The saving grace was at the very end everything makes sense.
I also felt at first the story was a lot like a Laurel K Hamilton story but not with the panache that comes with LKH. It just took longer. Finding ones soul mate can be an adventure. The book is an enjoyable read that you realize at the end.

Why ???

Ms Roth could have saved herself a lot of time and paper (or more likely disc space) if she'd written "Daughter of Darkness" without all of the constant f___king that took place page after page! She ruined a great story by making the main female character a slutty whore.

Very entertaining read. I have to say I enjoyed the characters, the plot and the steamy scenes. If you are looking for an in depth, thought provoking book or series this is not for you. It truly was a sit back and enjoy, easy read!

This series was exactly what is promised in the description. If you are wanting sexual tension, sexy times and supernatural fun, you will find it! And while I did enjoy it,the series does have a few things that irked me, but I won't blow it for people who'd rather not know! If you do want to know, please continue reading.

:: SPOILERS! ::

There are really only three points to mention that made me give this series a lower review.

* First, this series starts off with a major plot point that Gwen is to be the balance between the Light and the Darkness. There really is little to no pursuit of this plot by any of our main characters. Especially when you are dealing with such ultimate forces I would have imagined them coming into play in a much more dramatic fashion, and since they didn't, I was kind of left wanting. Honestly, it would have been much better if the author simply left out the 'Balance' card and call this plot what it is: Dealing with a past life after being Reincarnated. If the 'Balance' was never mentioned, the story would have flowed just as well.

* Secondly, I was a bit put off that Gwen never seemed to be adamant about finding out all the details of her past life, in particular the ones leading up to her death and why. Especially in light of seeing how much crap she seems to catch from the various people in these books. I don't know of anyone who would be this disinterested in their past life when threats of death and raging immortal hatred are everywhere. It was a bit jarring and kept from drawing me in completely.

* And last of all, The Ending. Now, a lot of discord throughout the books does end up making sense in Bella Mia. That being said, just the way it ended left me very unsatisfied. The main villain that orchestrated Gwen's death in her first life is suddenly introduced, is bwahaha, then deposed just made me sigh. There was no build up. The end confrontation just started to get going and then it was over. Quickly. And with the level of animosity between antagonist and our main gang, I just expected more. I felt that the Main Cast deserved more. It felt rushed, almost as if the author had tired of the story and just wanted to finish it, wrap it up in a pretty bow and be done.

Other than these points, the series did do what it promised. It delivered supernatural romance and a fairly amusing heroine with male hotties galore! This series showed a lot more potential that I wished had been explored.

Daughter of Darkness Trilogy box set

A Fantastically Spicy Spellbinding read!! 5 Stars

WOW! I don’t even know where to begin on this dark hot & sexy paranormal trilogy by Mandy!! I was completely blown away because it was not like anything I have ever read before which is just one of the many, MANY reasons why I loved it so much. There are Vampires, Faeries, Trolls, Werewolves-Lycans, Creatures of the Dark and of the Light and many more, but you will have to read and discover them for yourself!!! This was one area that I thought Mandy did a great job with. She took all of these “typical” fantasy & paranormal creatures and made them anything BUT!! There were so many unique features to them, it was like you were discovering them for the very first time! And well, in fact, you were!! I loved that there was so much passion between the characters both sexually and emotionally because it made the whole reading experience so intense that it “sucked” you right in. And even though it was really frustrating, I loved how you had to read right to the very end where the “OOOOH!” moment hits and brings it all together! I felt what Gwen was feeling, understood why she was feeling it – or at least understood it as much as she did! Every time I thought I had figured out what was happening or going to happen BAM! another twist, character or both was thrown into the mix. It all starts with Gwen going to Necro's Magik World & Supernatural Theme Park to meet with the owner Pallo about a bunch of paranormal murders. However no one could imagine how something that seemed so innocent would change ALL of their lives forever! This will definitely be on my permanent reading shelf. And even though I am not versed in the Magikal World, my tingly feeling tells me that I can read these books many times and still enjoy them as much as the first time! In fact, maybe even more!!! The only disappointing part is that there is not any more books after these three!!!

I stumbled up on this on accident. Im incredibly happy I did. Amazing story-told from so many sides and angles-good/bad. it all held my attention. I found myself sad when things didn't work out with Caleb but happy when Gwen came to know the truth about her true love Giovanni.

I do however think my favorite charachter in this trilogy is James. He's fun and playful and it upset me that others did not allow her friendship with him easily. (Namely Pallo-who's character I did not care for but understood his placement in the story)

I was pulled right into this story from very beginning. I laughed, I cried, I smiled with all the love that poured out of the pages...It was an amazing read to stumble upon.

This set is a keeper, I will read it again (in a year). The first book is super hot, I am 57 disabled, but it got me to thinkin.'hmmmmm maybe finding a gentlemen friend might not be a bad idea......LOL. Book #2 was a wee bit of a put off to me, at parts, but I enjoyed it....Book #3, now that was a super read, it put all it together, I loved it and could not put it down.

I recommend this set highly, but with a warning, it has some steamy sex scenes, so be for warned
( wicked grin)..... I hope you give the set a try a that you enjoy it as much as I did.

Definitely a good read! Lots of sex with lots of guys! Lots of violence! Lots of action! Twists and turns. Couldn't help but going through the gambit of emotions throughout the books. Just had to feel sorry for the guys in this story. Gwen loves them all, in more ways than one. It kind of got old that she just couldn't seem to keep her pants on and then was upset about it but it worked for the storyline. Pollo and Caleb are to die for! I'm a vampire kind of gal so Pollo and his group did it for me! Would recommend.

When i first started reading this series i was in love. I enjoy reading. But this series made me want to be Gwen and have all these men fall for me. My two favorite were Pallo and Geo. I loved how the story unfolded and how things finally ended for the right reasons and everyone got what they deserved. I was laughing at parts and crying in others. It a must read for anyone who likes vampires and other supernaturals.

I have no problem with sex or multiple partners especially in a book.

But this girl got a love quartet this is to weird to be true.
She has 0 discipline to commit herself to her partner.

I really hated the book, trust me on this one DO NOT READ IT.

I love the author but this book was to much.
She has sex in every 4 pages with different people.

I liked the end, that was the only chapter of the book I really enjoyed.

Trust me, do not read this book.

I mean aside from the fact the main character is a total whore.. it certainly gets you rooting between guys and being annoyed - but honestly it was just too much. The 3rd book ended a lot of confusion but still definitely made it a strange ending.

and then apparently in the future they'll be friends ? uh... "mommy slept with all my uncles that aren't really uncles" is kind of strange. .....

A bit repetitive

A bit repetitive

This was an interesting book, but a bit over done on the drama. In many ways it reminded me of the Anita Blake series here and there, with a dash of Sookie Stackhouse. This was not a bad series, but could have been a bit better.

This was very interesting set. The first book was a little confusing becasue there were a LOT of flashbacks. Even though they were needed in the story, they were kind of hard to follow. The rest of the series was easy reading and very action packed. I really love that when the last bood ended, the story ended. Nothing was left in the air.

Okay

It was an easy read and started off with a bang. I liked how fast it moved but didn't like how judgemental Gwen was to her lovers. But it ended very well. All in all worth the time to read it
