Originally published in 1854 it's interesting to see how little beekeeping has changed in the past 160 years. The flow of information was a bit hard to follow due to the writing style. It read more like bullet points than it did a book.

Good and quick introduction to beekeeping, but it's a dated book. That being said, the information does seem to be fairly consistent with much of what is discussed in current observations.

Published 1836.

Interesting, indeed, I do bee-lieve.

Passage: " Bees have a peculiar propensity to rob each other, and every precaution necessary to prevent it, should be exercised by the cultivator."
