The story

“Ready?” he asked, looking directly at her, as he inserted the key.
“For?”
He turned the key, and the snick of the lock was as effective as a starting gun.
With absolute certainty, he said, “Me.”

Rachel and Cole met in Entice, and now they finally have their book :D

Rachel is a pastry chef at Exquisite, sister of Mason Langley who is a bit overprotective of her :D
Cole is a lawyer, friend of Josh, who is also a bit overprotective of Rachel :D
Those two met, realised they had amazing chemistry, and went their own way.
Now, finally (yes!!!), they meet again, and Cole is determined to discover what hides beneath Rachel's colorful exterior, while she tries to get her own way with the seductive dominating man.
What follows is a lot of smexy times, a woman learning to let the reins go, and a man strong enough to take them <3




The chemistry

The writing is so amazing, especially with the sexual attraction and chemistry parts.
Fact one: I got hot and bothered while reading about the way Cole behaves while wearing a suit. I mean it was amazing, he was buttoning it, unbuttoning, putting hands in pockets and OMG it was so hot, all I can say, Ella, write more guys in suits!!!!!!!!!!!!
Fact two: I got hot and bothered by the sex scenes (well duh!), they were sizzling and the chemistry was bursting all over! The dialogue, the atmosphere... Amazing.
The library scene is my favorite *shivers*
Hmm and the caramel scene(s) too :DD I will never look at caramel the same again :D




Rachel

“This is an image. THAT,” he told her, looking over her leather-clad body, “is a costume.”

She has Cole. That is reason enough for me to be jealous :(((((

Anyway, something you need to know about her...
After being with an abusive boyfriend, Rachel made a promise to herself that she will never let another man hit or manhandle her.
Until she meets Cole.
He is just too big of a temptation to resist, and soon she finds she wants to give in to him, even though he's too dominating for her.




Cole

"Cole was a man who exuded confidence. He projected strength and determination in every aspect of his life, and it only made sense that he would carry it over to the bedroom. This wasn’t a man who was playing at anything; this was a man who lived the only way he knew how."

I don't think there is a single thing I didn't like about him.
Sometimes I want to feel like there are perfect men out there, and Cole certainly fits the bill.
He's a lawyer, sophisticated, rich, elegant, but he has a dirty side of him underneath the suit, and boy, it is all HOT!
I don't want to say too much and ruin the surprise when you all read it, but I seriously didn't expect that side of him :DDD
I think Rachel said in one scene that he was so hot, smoke should be getting off him, well I agree! My poor reader almost combusted (and me along with it).
He is used to getting his own way, it is just the way he is, and ever since he first saw Rachel, he knew she'd be perfect for him, and lucky guy, he was right :D
And the way he made sure she couldn't resist him...

Wonderful ending to the series and an amazing book :)

Rachel really showed a different side to her, and I really liked it here :)
Cole was always amazing ahahahha but after finding out more about him... I just adore him like crazy!! He is definitely going into my list of fav fictional men, and he'll be at the top! I love him, seriously <3
The gang from the previous books - it was wonderful to see them, especially in the Epilogue <3
One thing I didn't really like here, and since this is an ARC I can't go to detail cause it's near the end, but hmmm how do I explain it without giving it away :SSS
The progress of their relationship near the end bothered me, it was too fast for me, even though I'd do the same if I had a Cole at my disposal ehehehe.

One more thing I wanted to say, while reading this book, I don't remember I've ever wanted to see a chapter IN VIDEO so bad!
And you'd think I'd pick the sex scenes ahahhahha but no, I wanted Cole! In his flat after work! Drinking and taking his suit off!

I know, I know, watch your language Baba. But. Excuse me while I have a little moment here. Holy fuckity fuck! I tell you every woman needs a Cole in her life coz one thing’s for sure, your libido is going to soar sky-high. Holy smokes, the man is fucking hawt and he could boss me around anytime! Geeeeee-zus…I wanna lick him all over. *shiver* I truly adored Mason in Exquisite but Cole totally ramped up the hotness factor in Edible. Holy crap! Seriously, I'm a bit speechless, and I'm drooling all over my screen right now. Edible, scrumptious, delicious, tasty, sinfully sexy, hot, pedantic, bossy…that's so Cole. I wanna jump his bones or he can jump mine, I really don't care which way we do it as long as we do it. Friendly heads-up, don’t faint when you meet him coz you’d miss out on someone very special and likable…er… lickable. Yeah, the man is a walking and talking contradiction. Turns out that our stuffy, hot and self-possessed suit is so much more than meets the eye. As a lawyer by day he is very disciplined, reserved and well-mannered and by night he has an utterly delectable and filthy mouth that he can put on me anytime he wants to. Mind you, he can put other body parts into me as well. Cole, I am so ready to sin!

Edible is not a BDSM book. Having said this, Cole likes to play by being bossy and controlling. After all, it's all about the mind...

Minor quibbles
Due to her past Rachel had issues and didn't like to be touched. Frankly, I found it a bit hard to believe that she yielded so quickly. On the other hand, however, I felt that she craved Cole's touch so much more than she wanted to reject him. Around the 70% mark something happened that surprised me. I felt it transpired too soon and yet it kinda fit the somewhat flamboyant personalities. Anyway, all's well that ends well.


Ella Frank is one of my favorite contemp romance and erotic authors and with Edible she served me another hot, incredibly spicy yet sweet and tasteful meal right on a silver platter. Although the sweetness has nothing to do with her writing. If anything, I'm referring to the caramel in all its variety. Need I say more? Um…use your imagination. Just saying…
I have read four books from this author now and while her voice is distinct there is a pleasant diversity to her characters and stories that makes me anticipate her new books all the more.



I truly regret that I don't drink wine because Cole and a bottle of wine is such an enticing and slick devilish combination. Oh my, I couldn't for the life of me resist him.



There is plenty of sex in this story, however, as long as the scenes are so compellingly written, then I won't complain. Hell, I don't mind when Cole wants to tear off his clothes a hundred times. I must say that I was blown away by their exceptional chemistry and it really caught me off guard. So, right from the start when these two stepped on the page they just fit without contradiction in spite of Rachel's resistance. Well, Rachel didn't stand a chance against a very tenacious, sly and convincing Cole. The man is abso-fucking-lutely infuriating and arrogant (in a very good way), yet utterly perceptive. *wiggles eyebrows* I really liked Rachel a lot who neither could defy Cole's control nor could she evade his steadfast presence. Cole just brought the best out of Rachel.

I loved Cole from head to toes. Honestly, the man is something else. Without a shadow of a doubt he knows what he wants, when he wants it, and how he wants it. He was clearly intrigued by Rachel and her colorful personality. Hence, he so wanted to unravel her mystery and when he got her full attention it was a real treat to see them get down and dirty. I loved Cole's whispers, the ear biting, all the nibbling, sucking and touching. It was panty-melting hot. I worshipped his gorgeous body, his filthy mouth and his clever tongue and fingers. Even though Cole was very bossy and arrogant, he never lost sight of his main goal. Making Rachel his and satisfying her every need. Making her happy again.

Besides, I enjoyed to see the MCs of Exquisite and Entice again. That was the extra something and their interaction was fun and entertaining. I loved all the friendly bicker and banter. Also, Mason's brotherly love was endearing and I believe that Rachel couldn't have wished for a better sibling.

Edible is a delectable flavor that will satisfy your taste buds and your libido. Plus, it's a wonderful conclusion to the Exquisite series. Read. This. Book. Oh, and the teaser…best surprise. Ever! I'm totally antsy to get my fingers on this. Particular. Book. And like Paulo Coelho said: 'Be brave. Take risks. Nothing can substitute experience.' On that note, please keep them coming. Ella, you truly rock as an author, a woman and a human being!

I can't even describe the mouth that this man has on him...Cole talks a good game, I'll give him that. And he delivers...boy does he ever deliver!!! **SWOON!!!!!!!**

Cole Madison:

He's calm, controlled, collected, and self assured. He's also cocky as hell, unabashedly sexual, and he's wanted Rachel since he first saw her months ago.

Rachel Langley:

She's been through a lot in the last few months. A pastry chef at her brother's hot restaurant, Exquisite, she also runs her mother's flower shop. She's overworked and overwrought. Now that her brother and friends all have a plus one, she's also lonely. But an extremely abusive past relationship makes Rachel search for the doormat type of guy...the exact opposite of Cole.

"Reaching out to the script that was written along her ribs, he finally read the passage: "At any given moment, you have the power to say this is not how the story is going to end." That was when everything started to make sense. This woman - with the loud hair and the even livelier clothes - was sad."

Self protection can also be self destructive, and Cole knows that if he can just break through Rachel's walls, that their relationship would be something special.

MY THOUGHTS:
Ella Frank continues to write these wonderful LOVE stories that are also stuffed full of holy hotness melt your panties sex. Cole and Rachel...once again, they just FIT so perfectly. Cole is a very intense person. He's a lawyer, so he can out negotiate anyone. Although, I think Rachel knew from word one that Cole would rock her world. Since he latched on to the idea of Rachel, he just won't give up. This man is INTENSE!!! He's got laser eyes, I swear...and they are absolutely locked on Rachel. There's something so titillating about reading about a guy with that much focus. That fantasy of being the one he's focusing on...this ridiculously good looking, rich, confident man spending all of his effort and energy wooing and seducing YOU...that's the ultimate.

Although Cole doesn't really flaunt his money...really, the money was a bit of a non-issue. The hotness, not so much. Cole can dirty talk like none other, and when he finally gets ahold of his woman, you'd better hold on to something bolted to the floor...I swear, I think I levitated!!! ;P

"Quit fucking around, Rachel, and suck my cock."

Umm...Okay!!!!!! Yes, please!!!!!

One more, and then I'll stop with the sexy quotes...don't want to give away ALL of the goods ;)

On a serious note, this book is also a romance. (tee hee...I got a little caught up) Cole is actually a really good guy. His family doesn't play much of a role in this story, which was one thing that bummed me a little bit. Aside from one aspect of his life, we don't get much background on Cole. He remains a bit of a mystery. What he does show us is that he's not only a sex god, but he's also very perceptive, and he is very tender. He sees the struggles that Rachel has going on in her life, and he focuses just as much on her soul as he does her body. It's captivating, the way he literally uses sex to break down her walls...and when the walls start to crumble, its as if HE becomes her wall. He's now there for her to lean on, to use, to hold her up. It's beautiful, and this is what this author does best. She writes REAL romance, with real life problems. Her characters react like people would in reality...there aren't these overly dramatic scenes thrown in to move the story forward. This is ADULT romance, not only in the steam factor, but mentally also. Every time I put an Ella Frank book down, I know in my heart that the couple will be together forever. That they're meant to be.

The epilogue...brought tears to my eyes. I loved it, I loved it!!! I loved the tats, the piercings, the sex, the FOOD during sex...these two get down and dirty!!! I loved the interpersonal relationships with their families, I even loved the fights, because they were genuine. I loved this book.



Now, I'm on my way to the store to get some red wine and caramels. Ella gave me naughty ideas.... (wink, wink)

Edible tells us the story of Rachel & Cole. They met in Entice as you guys might remember. What??? You haven’t read Exquisite & Entice? Ok, stop wasting your time reading this review and go read them NOW! You still have a few days until July, 9th when Edible will be officially released.

Ok, I guess is time to introduce you to Cole. Not that I want to, I mean, I want you guys to read this book but I want to make clear that Cole is MINE. Entirely MINE. This cocky bastard lawyer, always wearing a suit is the man of my dreams!



And what about Rachel you say? Oh well, she’s one of the hottest heroines I’ve met. She’s not only hot, she’s also an intelligent and funny brat.



And what happens when a cocky bastard and a brat cross paths? You will need to read this book to find out but let me tell you this book contains HIGH SEXUAL TENSION. Like you want to rip your panties while reading, or rape your hubby, or watch certain kind of videos… WHATEVER to release the need because Ella knows how to write sex scenes. And when you think a scene can’t get anymore hotter, then she writes a hotter one!



Oh yes, I am not talking about the plot. Why you ask? Because I would spoil the story and it wouldn’t be as good for you. You just need to know this book will teach you about:

Pride. Because you should always be proud of who you are.

Strenght. Because you can never EVER let anyone hurt you.

Hope. Because what’s life without hope?

Love. Because one day you have to let the barriers of your heart down and surrender to that special person.

I really hope you guys enjoy this one as much as I did. And there is a surprise in this story. There is a Prince in this fairy tale, that’s all I can say.

I really enjoyed the first two books of this series... but let me tell you all something- This one BLEW THEM BOTH AWAY! Yep! It was an amazing read, beautiful and seriously SEXY!!!!!

Edible. The perfect title for this book! Rachel and Cole meet at the end of ‘Entice’ and you can just tell there is going to be something between them...
But Rachel can’t have that. Due to issues with her past, she needs control. And Cole is not the type of man to give over control.


COLE.... I don’t think there is any woman alive that won’t completely LOVE COLE. This man has it all.


Hot! Sizzling, scorching, set-you-on-fire hot.

Yes, Cole is an attorney, he wears the suits and all.


He is not all corporate and stuffy all the time- hot damn... underneath the suit is even better...


Cole is a man used to getting what he wants. And he wants Rachel. He goes after her. And seriously, how could she resist??? Cole is sexy, confident, alpha, and just straight up HOT! This guy is the total package! I want a Cole of my own. The best thing about Cole, he is willing to go at Rachel’s pace, get her to trust him. It took a while for Rachel to trust Cole, to open up to him, but once she did, their relationship went to a whole different level.

‘How did you slip past all the walls I put up?’
‘I just went where you allowed.’

And if you thought Exquisite and Entice were hot... well, the heat just got turned up another notch! These two have chemistry that is just off the charts! After reading this book- you will NEVER be able to think of caramel the same way ever again...

And as sexy as Cole was, he was also so romantic and swoony! I am in love! He just jumped straight towards the top of the book boyfriend list! Rachel was great too. I loved her in the first two books. It was nice to see her grow as a person and overcome her issues. Cole and Rachel were amazing together.



I loved everything about this book! The ending was just perfect. It was fun to catch up with Mason & Lena and Josh & Shelly. I especially loved how wonderfully protective Mason is of Rachel. And OMG- We are getting a Logan book! You have no idea how excited I am for that!!!
I have never been so happy to win an ARC! This book is the complete package! I recommend to anyone looking for a sweet and sexy read- go out and get it on July 9th :D

Emotional, erotic, enticing ... edible.
Blimey this book was outrageously romantic, I absolutely loved it. This author doesn't need to further convince me of her reasons for this book title, 'Edible' was all I have been waiting for and more. The exquisite series has been an absolute delight, a gorgeous combination of sultry, sensual and adorable. I can't praise this series enough and Ella Frank is a author that hits my must read radar every single time.

So, what's it all about ...
Cole Madison is a slick, controlled, arrogant business man, successful in all that he does, he finds himself in pursuit of Rachel Langley a feisty, gorgeous take-no-prisoners character who is frankly, a little uninterested. But with both characters carrying surprising secrets just under the surface, we see what happens when this duo go head to head in an all out battle of lust and love.

What did I love ...
To start with I love Ella's characters, in every book that I have read she always ensures that her characters are enjoyable. Cole Madison and Rachel Langley are suited to perfection, you won't find any overly annoying characters in this book or in fact in the whole series. 'Edible' is a delightful mix of hot and sweet, on the one hand the reader is delivered toe curling, tummy swirling love action but it is also brought together with a great story line, there's always a bit of heart and soul in this authors stories and it makes for a full reading experience.



Meet the characters ...
Rachel Langley is a character that I fell in love with before the start of this story, she is the younger sister of Mason Langley and head chef of her brothers successful restaurant. Rachel is a feisty, quirky character with plenty of personality. 'Edible' shows us the journey from broken hearted heroine to learning the lesson of being loved for who she is.

Cole Madison is winning hearts all over good reads, and after delving into this story I can appreciate why. He is as sweet as he is determined, as bossy as he is lovely, and arrogant as he is charming. There is more than meets the eye with this suit wearing professional and once again Ella Frank has delivered a trademark impressive hero.



Final thoughts ...
If you like romance served with fabulous characters and perfectly written intimate scenes, then you do not want to miss out on the whole series, edible was a tasty finish to an already addictive series and although I'm sorry to say goodbye I'm excited for what Ella Frank will serve next.

Go grab it readers ... You won't want to stop after just a taste.

First, and foremost before I get into the good stuff. I really just want to thank Ella Frank for the contest that she ran regarding this book on facebook. I want to thank her even more for actually picking my entry as the winner and for letting me forever be able to say "hey, you know I helped out with that scene at the 77% mark of Edible?!?" As well as the fact that it won me an ARC of this FUCKING AWESOME BOOK!!!

Secondly, I feel it is essential to comment on the mind of Ella Frank. I am not exaggerating here. When you read this book and some of the kinky, creative, scenes she came up with you are just going to be floored. (I have it on good authority that she may have done her own "research" for some of those scenes.)Not to mention you don't just get the hottest fucking book you have read this year and maybe in the last few years you also get a complex and well developed story with your steam! It had some familiar elements of stories like this but it was not predictable, you didn't have two characters making up excuses why they couldn't be together. You didn't get a corny ass misscommunication that spans a great deal of the book when they could talk like adults and solve the problem. This book would be a great story even if it didn't have off the wall crazy hot sex in it... and that's why it got 5 stars from me! I believe I am now a willing Kool-Aid drinker of the Ella Frank variety, forever! I know for sure that:

Edible is the third book in the Exquisite trilogy, and if you're reading this review then I very much hope that you have read Exquisite and Entice already! If not, what are you waiting for??? DO IT NOW!!! Edible picks up with the story of Rachel: the little sister of Mason who has a penchant for leather, lace, and brightly streaked hair. She is a pastry chef at the restaurant that she and her brother run. Rachel is a character that you automatically like. You also get the impression that there is a lot more to her than what meets the eye.



The picture that she has painted of who Rachel is - is slowly peeled away in Edible. We learn a great deal about her struggles, her true strength and character. Rachel finds herself craving something she has yet to find; she learns that you don't always know what you want or need until it backs you into a corner and refuses to give up on you...



Now unless you have been under a rock you also know that this book features Cole. Just saying his name...



We also met Cole in the previous book and know that he is a very serious man. Did I like it? I "abso-fucking-lutely" LOVED it. First off, thanks to Ella for the ARC. It is a real privilege, as a reader, to receive a book from an author in return for an honest review. Not sure how ARCs are given out but it definitely was not based on my reviews of her two previous books in this series. Cos that was way before myself and Ingela popped our "pic/gif" cherries and some of my reviews were just so boring. I am not saying that you need a picture to MAKE a review but, to be honest, I like using them in my reviews. Loved the first 2 in the series. Was hoping I would love this one too. I did. Loved Cole, the sexy, stuffed shirt. Loved Rachel, the quirky, lonely girl. Great to catch up with Mason and Lena and Josh and Shelly - Shelly makes me laugh. There are some surprises along the way. But great surprises - Oh, my, Mr Madison, what a FINE body you have.


The storyline with his mother was heartbreaking - I have been there, my Dad was in the same situation for many years.



Seriously hot sex scenes. All in all a wonderful read and all you guys who did not get an ARC, just think of what a great story you have to look forward to.

Ella, remember that cute guy with the curly hair that I posted and you said he was just the ticket for your NEXT book - remember ME when you are giving out ARCS. No seriously, I would love another ARC but I think it is great to spread the love throughout all the Goodread readers and maybe give someone else a chance…

Edible is the final story in the Exquisite Series. In this book we finally get Rachel's story and get better aquainted with the intense Cole Madison (my new book boyfriend). From the moment he meets her he knew she was it. He pursued her with an intense tenacity and never had any intention of not getting his way. Rachel, having been hurt both physically and mentally in a past relationship- has promised herself that she will never allow herself to be vulnerable again.

But as incredibly sexy as their story was - it was so refreshing that there was also A STORY and NOT JUST SEX. Ella Frank has this beautiful way with words. Although it is sad to see The Exquisite Series end, I am very excited to where the new spinoff series is going.

This book! WOW! I was not disappointed in Cole and Rachel's story!

Caramel, library ladders and wine....Oh My!!




God, is there anything sexier than a man who reads?

Cole is a too serious, stressed out lawyer who definitely has some very hot secrets hidden under that three piece suit. He sees Rachel and instantly he wants her. What he doesn't expect though is to want to keep her.



Rachel is lost at this stage, grieving the loss of her mother and father so close together and trying to move on from a very bad relationship early on in her life.



The chemistry between them is sizzling from the beginning. The original agreement was only to be together for a week, but....



Love is a powerful emotion that can blind side anyone.




I loved this book. But besides the great story between Cole and Rachel, I was also touched with the relationship between Rachel and Mason, her brother. They have both had to deal with the death of their parents and Mason feels that Rachel is pulling away from him. He is such a great big brother to her and loves her so much. I thought the scene in the flower shop between these two siblings was so sweet...



Overall, I absolutely loved this book. It definitely pulled at my heart strings and tugged in other places also *evil laughter*

This book didn't have any major drama, it was just a pleasant, sexy read.

I loved this book. I loved the hell out of it. Now don't throw stones here, but I didn't really enjoy the first book in this series so much. While I enjoyed the writing, I simply couldn't connect with the heroine.

This was definitely not the case with this book. Rachel was an incredibly endearing heroine. After getting out of an abusive relationship, she focuses on "safe" men so that she never enters into the same situation again. The last thing she wants is another controlling man.

But then Cole comes along.

This man is anything but tame. He knows what he wants, and he makes no bones about letting Rachel know that what he wants is her.

“From the minute you walked in, it was you. I’d been coming to this place for months, looking for someone— not someone who wants gimmicks, not someone who wants to act a part in the bedroom. This is me and my life, Rachel. I’m bossy, I’m arrogant, and I can be an asshole at times, but I also crave the power to control my surroundings. So, that is what I ask of you. Will you let go and give me the power to make you happy? To make you scream when your body finally explodes around mine? I want the power to make you smile and curse at me, so if you want to try that, then come with me. Say yes, and come home with me.”

The story and writing was fan-fuckin-tastic. Rachel was great and entertaining to read. But what made this book was Cole. 'I-wanna-Lick-him-all-over-and-then-cover-him-in-caramel-so-I-can-lick-him-again' Cole.

How do I even begin to describe all of the delicious that was Cole?

Cole has a huge fondness for caramels. Rachel, being a pastry chef, "fed" his desires....that scene, WOW!



Oh, and I'll take a Vino a la Cole anyday! The red wine scene...I'll even donate my Sealy mattress to "our" cause....


And let's just say old fashioned libraries where bookshelves line floor to ceiling with a handy little ladder will never make me think BOOKS again.....



Cole Madison is the whole package. He drops everything to care for his mother with Alzheimer's Disease...a mother who doesn't even remember who he is. She doesn't remember him specifically but she still holds a fondness for caramels and the music box his father gifted her. One of my favorite quotes of the book came from that scene-

Songs seem to live in the soul when everything else leaves.

There is literally almost nothing I'd change in this book. We got to catch up with Mason and Lena, Shelley and Josh. We got introduced to Cole's business partner and half brother Logan (who has his own erotic MM book coming this winter). My only beef and I wouldn't even go so far as to really say it bugs me much was the events at 70% into the book. I felt it was unexpected, rushed over and really didn't add a ton to the story. But that's being a bit picky on my part. The book was still near perfection as I've grown accustomed to with Ella Frank.

I fell in love with the characters. I fell in love with their story as I excitedly watched them fall hopelessly in love...



Bravo! Loved loved loved it!

I have loved this series ever since I've read about Mason and Lena's story, then Josh and Shelly. Personally, I couldn't wait for Rachel's story. So when it was revealed in Entice who Rachel's partner was going to be, I couldn't help but be intrigued. I mean, what's more intriguing than a stuffy lawyer with penchant for three-piece suits and blue-haired, wild child pastry chef? So my expectations for this book was sky high.

Well, it's safe to say that Ella Frank delivered. This book has exceeded my expectations in every way. We all now that the first two books were hot but this one took hot into an entirely different level. It's on a whole other dimension. No joke.



The chemistry between Cole and Rachel were off the charts, scorching hot. You can feel every single touch, lick and kiss between Cole and Rachel as if you were there with them. I feel like voyeur, a dirty, horny voyeur who wants to join in on the action. LoL!



Trust me, Cole was pretty irresistible and so hot. The things he did to/with Rachel, I wanted it done to me, okay? Caramel anyone? Yes, please and while you're at it, please bring a bottle of red wine. Ella Frank, what a wicked imagination you have. I loved it!!



But there is more to this book than just the sex and the chemistry. There is a great story here, the obvious being Cole and Rachel's journey to happily ever after. But more than that it is also a story about family and loss. This was one aspect of the book that I really loved aside from the chemistry of course.



I loved seeing Mason again. This time as a concerned older brother who was quite out of his element in dealing with Rachel's new relationship with Cole. We also get to see Rachel's relationship with her dad. As a reader, I truly understood Rachel's loss after reading those beautiful passages. Although, I felt awful for what happened, Rachel's past relationship with Ben added another layer to Rachel's character that made her more endearing and relatable to me.



Cole Madison is an enigma. He's an intriguing mass of contradiction wrapped in a very sexy, edible package. He's a contradiction because beneath the three-piece suits lies an almost different man entirely with his tattoos and piercing. But more than that, he is a contradiction because in spite of the ruthless, takes no prisoner image he projected, he is also a son, a friend and a lover.



I loved Cole's relationship with his mom. It was heartbreaking and it explained a lot about Cole. I was pleasantly surprised about his half-brother Logan. and I can't wait to explore the dynamic of that relationship in Logan's book.

So is this book highly recommended? You betcha! Read it and enjoy Cole and Rachel.

The writing was fabulous! I enjoyed that there was a great story and that it wasn't all about just great sex. The way things happened seemed to be just perfect for the pair that they were. Let's face it, they aren't the most conventional couple, but it absolutely worked for them. I loved their ending! It was so sweet. I loved the epilogue! My cheeks hurt so badly from smiling so big. Seeing all of the characters from the series come together was a real treat. I highly recommend you give this read. I just don't think there is a woman out there in the world who can resist yummy Cole. Thank you Ella for letting me read your awesome book! Thank you so much for bringing Cole to life. I just can't stop raving about him. Now, I can't wait to read Logan's book. So excited!

4.5 Exquisitely Enticing, Delicious Edible Stars!! A toe-curling, panty-melting, take-my-breath-away read! A wonderful conclusion to this amazing series!

If anyone ever had any doubts that Ella Frank could continue with her debut momentum and success…doubt no more!! Her Exquisite series, all three books, is proof that this author knows what it takes to capture the essence of great contemporary romance. Although there are similarities in each of the books, there are some major differences in the storylines, and in Edible, she shows us yet again how diverse her writing can be.

Whereas in the first two books, there was conflict and uncertainty among the main characters as they pursued relationships that was not the case with Cole and Rachel. Yes, initially Rachel was annoyed with Cole, she perceives him as arrogant, smug, but with an air of sophistication, and he intrigues her. He propositions her, she accepts, and she begins to see a man that is inherently good and trustworthy.

Cole is wolf in a business suit. His outward appearance, self-assurance, and determination, give people the impression that he’s cocky, not one that would commit to a relationship, but we all know that when a wolf chooses a mate, it’s for life!

Rachel is floundering, just existing and feels like an outsider, among her friends and family. Cole rocks her world when she allows him to take control of her sexual needs, which in turn allows her to overcome her issues stemming from an abusive past, it frees and empowers her. I loved the quiet intensity of their relationship, and although in some respects it was quick, it somehow felt like a slow journey as they fall in love. They were committed to one another even before they could see it for themselves, but the reader could feel it through their actions. It was breathtaking.

“How is it that you make me want so many things I had sworn I could do without?” Cole asked her.

Rachel and Cole’s story felt particularly special…they were meant to be, no two people could have been more perfect for each other. Cole’s eagerness over the prospect of what a future with Rachel could mean for him, warmed my heart, and was so telling of his true character, he put up a good front, but deep down he needed to be loved.

I really enjoyed how all the characters from the series were woven into the story, but I was particularly captivated by Mason, his worry for Rachel and the role he played as her protector. Even though Mason had misgivings about Cole, his sister’s happiness was his main concern. It was amusing and charming, and although he over stepped his bounds as a big brother, he had nothing but noble intentions. It was incredibly sweet.

Ella Frank has the innate ability to make the readers feel right along with the characters, she does this particularly well with the alternating points-of-view. She sets up a scene, and then hits the reader with intense one liners and profound dialogue. You live it as they do, you feel what they feel, and you fall in love right along with them.

“Don’t change your mind,” she blurted out into the silent space.
There was a second of silence.
“Look at me.”
Turning her head against the back wall, Rachel found Cole facing her.
“I’m not going anywhere.”

I did have one issue. Although the sex scenes were deliciously divine, passionate and sensual, I could have done without so many, and would instead have enjoyed spending more time with Cole and Rachel, just being Cole and Rachel, learning about them ‘outside the bedroom’.

There is a beautiful epilogue that includes all the key players and leaves the reader incredibly satisfied. I walk away from this series with a heavy heart. I’m going to miss being in this delicious world.

I am over the moon that we haven’t heard the last of Logan, who I absolutely adored, and hopefully through his book, Try, and the upcoming series, Temptation Trilogy, we’ll get to see what these characters, that we’ve grown to love so much, are up too!

So, my hats off to Ella Frank, for not only writing one, but three amazing books that make up the Exquisite series. In my opinion it’s a resounding success, some of the best contemporary romances I have ever read and I can’t recommend it enough!

Meet Rachel...she's a chef at Exquisite with her brother Mason..she also runs the flower shop since their mom died. She's experienced abuse at the hand of and ex and she feels the need to be controlling in all things. What she doesn't really know though, is that she actually needs TO BE controlled. Cole recognizes this immediately and pulls out all the stops to make Rachel HIS


One of the things I loved most about this book is the ZERO angst.. nope, not a single drop. Once Cole set his sights on Rachel, she didn't stand a chance. She didn't put up much of a fight either. They fell for each other right away and neither tried to deny what was going on. They felt it and they acted on it. And hells bells did they fucking act on it. These were some of the hottest scenes I have ever read.. but they were more than hot..they were sexy, sensual, meaningful and gripping. They were intense. They were smoldering..they were.. EVERYTHING..


Raising his hungry mouth away from her, he kept his eyes on hers as he drew her knees wide. Following his lead, Rachel spread her legs without uttering a word. When he took his other arm from around her waist and slid it up her other leg, Rachel leaned back against the wall and let her eyes slide closed in ecstasy.




Ella simply outdid herself this time....The story of Rachel and Cole was just simply awesome.. loved watching Cole bring Rachel back to herself and loved seeing Rachel bring out the softer side of Cole. Although their was lots and lots of sex in this book..there was a beautiful story of a couple falling madly in love also. Put those two together and its just perfection...

This is a must read for sure!! But keep the A/C on cool and the fan on high because if this book doesn't cause you to break a sweat then nothing will...

Edible is a beautifully, romantic, perfect love story. A love story with the most delicious amount of Hot! Sizzling, scorching, set-you-on-fire hot sex.

This man is a fucking god.

Cole had previously met a girl who got his attention. It was only a hand full of times but Cole decided that he wanted to get to know this woman who intrigued him-Somehow and someway, Rachel was going to be his. It was all just a matter of time. Time and patience were two things he had an abundance of.

A Pastry Chef who is Feisty, Beautiful, Witty, Daring, Sensual, Out of the Box, Lonely, Sassy, Guarded.....in my opinion- Exquisite!

Rachel isn't looking for a man to control her, that would never happen to her again. Rachel's past has never been put to rest. She carries it with her daily. She meets Cole and while he scares her, he also ignites and unravels her.

Cole gave her a look filled with so many hot, dirty promises that it melted away any resistance she thought she had left. That was the moment their two lives because soldered together by mutual desire and understanding.

"Rachel, I don't know who hurt you in the past or what kind of relationship you were in, but with me, no pain, no humiliation and no harm will come to you. I want to please you as much as I want you to please me, I want to use my body and yours to bring you the most pleasure you have ever felt, and after it's through, I want to start all over again."



This story is so sensually written that I really can't find the right words to describe my feelings. I felt them falling for each other to my very core. Rachel's past, her ability to trust a man, Cole's desire to making her his, his mother, her brother and Josh,....no super major drama, just normal real drama of 2 people who find each other and discover that We fit like two pieces of a puzzle finally coming together.

Now, their sexual chemistry and sexual encounters were so full of deep longing and intense feelings that

Ella Frank finished this series with the best book ever. I loved Exquisite and Entice. I absolutely adore(being a romantic at heart) a great love story and Ella delivered on all accounts. I love a series that includes all the characters from previous books and gives you tidbits of how their lives are going. While this book is about Rachel and Cole, Mason and Lena and Josh and Shelly are included and are a vital part to Rachel's story. It is truly a full and complete circle.

I forgot to mention the fanfreakingtastic epilogue- it was extra icing on the already delicious cake!!! You brought such happy tears Rachel blinked watery eyes and whispered, " I want one." Cole grinned and leaned down to kiss her quick. "Me, too." It was one of my favorite lines and I cried again as I wrote this.

I can't recommend this series enough!! I would one click immediately and get to reading Exquisite, Entice and Edible. Thank you Ella for writing such a beautiful and loving story, one that I will never forget. Brava Ella!! ♥♥♥

Hot! Sizzling, scorching, set-you-on-fire hot.

I think that adequately descirbes Edible.

Prepare yourself.

Rachel’s parents have past away, her brother Mason has moved on with Lana, her friend Josh has moved on with Shelley, and Rachel has moved on with… no one.
Each day that passes, Rachel notices how lonely she really is and decides she needs a break from her family and find something, anything.
The moment Cole saw Rachel at Whipped, he knew he had to have her. He can’t stop craving the colorful-haired women and doesn’t try to.
Rachel does her best to avoid Cole but he wants her, and what he wants, he will have.

It took me a while to connect with the story. It was interesting and held my attention, but I wasn’t compelled to drop everything I needed to do so I could read. However, as Edible progressed, I slowly but surely fell in love with the characters and the story.

Rachel was a great character, but I wish I could have seen a bit more attitude from her. In the previous books she was more vibrant and alive that here, it felt like she was a bit… watered down.
But I still loved her. She was strong, independent and didn’t need to depend on anybody.

At any given moment, you have the power to say this is not how the story is going to end.

Cole was just… delicious. I would have loved to take a bite out of that *smirk*.

Patience of a saint. The mind of a sinner.

I loved that his character went beyond the sexy alpha-ness and had another caring and vulnerable side, too. He could instantly see through Rachel and knew how to handle her.

This women–with the loud hair and the even livelier clothes–was sad.

He also had a playful side that just melted my heart.

“I can’t ever imagine hating you, but if you get sick of me and decide next week that you want nothing to do with me–”
“Yes?”
“Tell me, so I can change your mind.”

And there was a spectacular epilogue that left me grinning all day.

From the moment Cole spotted Rachel at Whipped, he knew that she was it for him, but Rachel being her fickle self is hell bent on any man ever controlling her again. She took to taking the easy boring route with her partners, someone who is willing to let her take control but lately everyone seems to be moving on with their life and she’s feeling lonelier than before. A certain lawyer is working his way in her thoughts and dreams, but she refuses to let a man control her ever again



Cole is nothing but persistent and will stop at nothing to get Rachel under him, over him and any which way he could get her, just as long as she is screaming his name. Cole knows that Rachel is different, she needs to be free to fly but she also needs an anchor to guide her back home, but she is so blind with distrust that it takes some major negotiating on Cole's part for Rachel to agree

"I’m bossy, I’m arrogant, and I can be an asshole at times, but I also crave the power to control my surroundings. So, that is what I ask of you. Will you let go and give me the power to make you happy? To make you scream when your body finally explodes around mine? Cole and Rachel balance each other out perfectly; they are a match in and out of the bedroom, their wicked minds constantly trying to outdo each other and definitely set the pages on fire.

Cole helps Rachel fight back her demons, and doing everything he can so that she no longer has to hide, even from herself.

Wowza! Oh boy, but I enjoyed this tasty confection! Edible definitely lives up to its name! This is about sexy smoking Cole and quirky feisty Rachel, Rachel is Masons little sister and Cole is a Lawyer, we meet Cole back in Entice he is 1. Joshua's lawyer and 2. Rachel, Lena and Shelley bumped into him on a night out but that night didn't work out, Cole and Rachel rubbed each other the wrong way or Rachel ran from something she felt which she didn't want.

So here we are in Edible where Cole wants Rachel and he's going to have her.

Cole is a lawyer and well he wears suits, he works HARD, he's arrogant and looking in from the outside you would probably class Cole as boring and Normal the far opposite to Rachel but he is definitely NOT THAT and we shouldn't judge a book by its cover should we, he wants one week with Rachel and one week to get what he wants and ultimately to get under Rachel's skin.

"I don't want to tie you to a bed or strap you to a cross. I want you to willingly want every single thing I plan to do to you. I want you to keep your hands behind your back because you want to." Biting her earlobe, he then added, "And I want you to swallow because you love the fucking taste. Play with me, Rachel, so I can play with you."

Rachel is not your usual normal girl she for one loves leather and dresses differently, she's to me one strong cookie. It takes some strength to be different, to be unique, to be vibrant. She's one heroine I loved, I'm not saying I didn't like Lena or Shelley but there were times when they annoyed the hell out of me and well Rachel didn't do that once. Rachel is a successful pastry chef and runs Exquisite with Mase. She is also learning the lesson of to be loved for who we are and not to change who we are to be loved.

PRIDE, STRENGTH, HOPE, LOVE

Will Cole help Rachel to swallow her pride? Will Rachel show Cole her strength? And will Rachel let Cole in so that she can be whole again?

These two are made for each other they make a good team and fit perfectly.

Now Ella Frank sure knows how to write some good sex scenes, the chemistry is wow, the SEXUAL TENSION, I was do it do it already!! and when they did Ella came up with more different sexy smoking HOT scenes.

"Ready?" he asked, looking directly at her, as he inserted the key. "For?" He turned the key, and the snick of the lock was as effective as starting gun. With absolute certainty, he said, "Me."

I loved seeing how this series concluded all coming back together with the other characters, I loved Mason and Rachel's bond as brother and sister I cried at there moments maybe that's just me but I found myself to be a tad emotional when they came together and likewise with Josh he is one happy soul.

What I loved about this series is Ella's books just flow nicely, her characters are delicious and you will struggle to put her books down once you've started them. There is HONESTLY nothing not to like.

What I can't wait for now? Logan's story which is a new series but well come on November hurry up and with Logan means more of Cole so with that makes Katy a very happy girly.

I will start of by saying that anyone who hasn't read this one yet...must read it as soon as they can! I can't figure why it took me this long to read; but I adored this book! This is the type of book that I would love to read again and again! I suppose it helps that I thought Cole was an absolute STUD!LOL He is everything I quite love in a hero!! On the outsied he is all prim and put together; but take away the "wrapping" and underneath is a surprise that no woman could ever forget! I'll give you a hint...piercings and tatooes!! That is all I have got to say about that; but you might want to look up what a Prince Albert is!! (I am hoping I got the name of that piercing right!LOL) Also, I was very wrong..I thought the caramel scene was my ultimate favorite Ella sex scene!!! (you see, I cheated long ago and peaked when everyone was talking about it!! Heehee!)BUT, what I didn't realize is there is a scene which involves a bottle of wine!! HELLO! HOLY HOT FREAKIN HELL!!! That scene is going down in my top five fave erotic sex scenes EVER!! I can't even describe to you how hot it was..Just trust me on this fact: you will be left speechless and with butterflies floating around in your tummy! OMG! I had to re-read the scene more than a few times-it was that HOT! ;-D

One thing I love with Ella's books is that I can tell she puts her whole heart and soul into them. She writes with passion, and she knows what the readers like. Not only are her books full of romance and sizzle; but they have heart and substance. In this case we have Rachel who is a strong woman who is not afraid to be different, end up in a situation where a man took advantage of her. He crossed the line between right and wrong and laid his hands on her. I liked that Ella put Rachel in that situation-not because I liked her being hurt; but because it showed that there are even strong woman who can end up in a situation with a man that most people think they never would allow that. In Rachel's case, she was so surprised that it happened, and then eventually her self esteem became lower until she was afraid to get out. Thanks to circumstances (and her loving father) she ended up out of that; but there was some long term damage done to the person she was in her core. She wasn't even able to trust a man enough to touch her. Once she lost her parents to death, it became harder for Rachel to maintain the feeling that she was ok.
This is where Cole comes into the picture. He wants Rachel for his own. He sees past the outer shell of who Rachel appears to be, and becomes aware that there is more than meets the eye. He is intrigued, and is use to getting what he wants. The interesting thing about Cole, is that he loves having control-especially in the bedroom! But even with his desire to have the utmost control in every aspect in his life, he is in a situation with his mother that he has absolute no control over. When I learned about Cole's mother, my heart literally broke. That situation is one that I would never wish on even my worst enemy, and has to be one of the hardest things to deal with and accept. I admired how Cole was dedicated to his mom, as some people would just avoid the situation because of the pain it would cause everytime they were faced with it.

As you can tell, this story goes way beyond just a romance story. Most of Ella's books do! I always know that when I crack open one of her books that I am in for an emotional ride..and...well...let's face it: a sexy one to boot! She knows how to take a sex scene and turn up the heat, and then throw some more gasoline on the fire by adding some kind of unique twist! Some of the most kinkyest,hottest, sex has come form her books! I never like to go into too much of the story in my reviews for fear that I will ruin it for other readers. All that I can say, is that this is a MUST read. It is a part of a series, and there is definitely more enjoyment out of it if you read the other books. Mainly because there are return characters, and updates which is always nice. The bonus though, is you don't HAVE to read the others if you absolutely don't want to. This does work as a stand alone; it is just more enhanced with the knowledge of the other characters..

I can't wait to see what Ella has in store for us next; but whatever it may be, I will be in line for a chance to read her next masterpiece. She truly is one talented author, and she is on the rise to bigger and better things!!

I gotta say, I didn’t see the appeal in this series after reading the first two books. The leading ladies drove me bananas. But like the OCD person that I am, I had to keep going and was told I WOULD NOT be disappointed in Edible. And let me tell you….IT IS



I went into this one, just as I did with the others, with the hope that I would like it and understand everyone’s love for this series. It took me about 5% to realize



Rachel & Cole:





Rachel was someone that most women could relate to in some way or another. She was burned by a relationship that went bad, and being young and naïve, she didn’t know how to get out of a horrible situation. Once out, her feelings shifted. Fear took hold and it was a hard bitch to shake. She didn’t want to worry her family and friends, but as their lives moved forward, she got lost in an internal, emotional battle of how to move forward herself. Enter Cole. He didn’t take “no” for an answer, and gave Rachel the tools and support that she needed to find her way.



Ahhhh Cole. The man was pure perfection!!

"Patience of a saint. The mind of a sinner."

He was sexy, smart, supportive, domineering, unpredictable at times (especially when we find out what’s underneath those suits – YUMMY!), funny and above all unstoppable in his love for Rachel. There was no one, including those closest to both of them, that was going to stand in the way of their future.

And whenever these two set the pages ablaze, be prepared. Whether it involved an innocent caramel sauce, a decadent bottle of wine, a boring ol’ library ladder or even your standard four-poster bed.....your ovaries will not explode, they will DISINIGRATE!! You’ll need to take some moments.

"I don't want to tie you to a bed or strap you to a cross. I want you to willingly want every single thing I plan to do to you. I want you to keep your hands behind your back because you want to. And I want you to swallow because you love the fucking taste. Play with me, Rachel, so I can play with you."

There were a few bumps in the road for these two….mainly Mason being an overprotective older brother...but once Rachel and Cole showed him how genuine their connection was, nothing stood in their way.



So to sum up....is the hype and love surrounding this book well-deserved? Should you run to your kindle and download it immediately? Will your heart swell and panties melt?

We first meet Rachel in Exquiste (book 1). She is the spitfire sister of the lovable Mason. We later meet Cole in Entice (book 2). He is Josh’s lawyer.

Cole likes to take control of every situation and usually gets what he wants and he’s decided he wants Rachel, but due to her past she’s reluctant to give into Cole.

Take note, Rachel. I’m officially intrigued and my attention is usually very hard to acquire.

After a lot of teasing and foreplay Cole talks Rachel into spending a week with him.

"Ready?" he asked, looking directly at her, as he inserted the key. "For?" He turned the key, and the snick of the lock was as effective as a starting gun. With absolute certainty, he said, "Me."

During this week Cole is able to break through the walls that Rachel has put up and Rachel makes him realize that she’s everything he thought he didn’t want or need.




I must say I will never see caramel again and not think of that kitchen scene or Cole.

Oh and the library was another fun scene…




I don’t want to spoil anything for those who haven’t read this yet, but this was a perfect ending to this series. I loved getting to know all of the characters and their own personalities. I’m a bit sad that it’s over, but am looking forward to getting to know Logan. I hope we see more of Cole and Rachel through him.

The epilogue was the best….

Every single word in this book felt as sensual and decadent as caramel; this story is so rich you can almost taste it, simply luscious…

Rachel Langley is the pastry chef and part owner of Exquisite Restaurant. Her brother and his best friend both have recently married, and lately Rachel has been feeling like the odd man out and lonely. She doesn't believe in relationships since her one and only boyfriend almost broke her but she craves the pleasure of being with a man. Cole Madison doesn't believe in judging a book by its cover; on the outside he is the cool and collected lawyer but he has a very wild side that he doesn't allow anybody to see, until Rachel…

Cole feels a magnetic pull toward the edgy woman who looks edible in leather and he is ready to claim her, but Rachel is very skittish, so, Cole puts his negotiation skills to work and offers Rachel a delicious deal she won't be able to resist. What starts as deal full of pleasure, will transform into a deep love that will prove to be everything both Rachel and Cole needed.

This is my second book on this series and I gotta say, I really enjoy this author's writing, all the characters share a deep connection that it only gets better as you read more, they are all unique and the stories highly entertaining. Cole and Rachel have been my favorites so far, but I really can't wait to discover more...
