I purchased this book to teach my student who is learning English as a second language. I liked this book because there was a dialogue, example idioms and exercises in each lesson. Plus there were 30 lessons in this book. I would recommend it for an intermediate English level student.

It is really practical for non-native English speakers who need to work in an all-English environment. So many expressions are necessary in daily use, but I don't know how to express them accurately when speaking.

I have been using this book with an advanced English student who has recently moved to Canada and wants to learn more idioms. Most of the phrases are new to her, or she wasn't sure their exact use/meaning. I like the definitions, examples and review questions. The recorded dialogues aren't the worst I've heard.
