The Case Study

Rate this book
A naked, hairless man is found wandering through a town in Western Maryland. He is taken to a psychiatric unit in Baltimore for evaluation. He has no memory, no name, no history. And he claims that he has lost his soul.

The Case Study is a novella written in Lovecraftian style, and follows 13 sessions with a mysterious man who the personnel refer to as John Smith. Read the session logs kept by his attending psychiatrist, Dr. James Marston, as he unravels the mystery behind the soulless man. At the same time, finds that all he believed about his reality, is not what he thought.

The first 12 sessions are freely available on the authors blog http://arkangyl.com/the-case-study-1-12/.

The Kindle Edition contains the shocking conclusion to the story.
