Firecracker Under Pressure
Trixie Harridan wants to juggle two guys, but it just got a lot harder.
Cy returns from the country with a big surprise, but it's not what you think. He's moved into the city. The change is sudden, but Trixie loves that Cy knows what he wants and goes after it, especially when it's her body.

Review for Firecracker Under Pressure by Megan Flint

Firecracker Under Pressure… the title says it all. Seriously, Ms. Flint went above and beyond my expectations based on the first two books in this series. Once again, the writing style and editing are next to flawless. I love how the author holds nothing back. She doesn’t skirt around the edges of sex and pretty it up like a lot of authors. Nope, she gets right in there and owns the hell out of her smut.
Trixie has herself in a bit of a pickle in this installment of the Firecracker series. Cy has moved to the city and Erik has proven himself worthy of her attention. Both of these stud muffins want Trixie and she wants both of them. When I read book two I swore it could never get any hotter than the shower scene, I was wrong. I was so very, very wrong. I will say one word and one word only. You will have to read the book to understand why I was wrong- Cave. Whew.
One of the things that was incredibly nice about this book is we get to learn a bit more about both of our man-cakes. They each open a different part of themselves up to Trixie and that just makes it even more difficult for her to even consider choosing. I won’t lie, this book is going to totally cliff-hanger you… I swear it’s worth it though. Book four can’t come soon enough for this book whore! Again, this book is way too hot for a few measly stars… this one gets five screaming orgasms with a side dish of hair-pulling-bum-smacking-kinkiness.

It just keeps getting better and better. Trixie wants to have her cake and eat it too.
In Book 1, we get the the steamy romance between Trixie and her sexy masseuse Cy. In Book 2, we get the re-kindled romance between Trixie and the the fitness god, Erik. Now in Book 3, it seems that both man have become intertwined in Trixie's life and nothing can go wrong, right?! Well, as I read this book it seems that Trixie is able to separate the two lives that she has with each man for a while. I saw the budding relationship that was developing between her and Cy. He wanted to spend time with her and get to really know her as a person which surprised Trixie but made her admit that there might be more to Cy than she originally thought. I loved the time that they spend together. Erik, on the other hand, was just as good. I got the sense that he really wants something more with Trixie and I also get the feeling that there is this attraction between the two that can't be denied. Erik is such a strong and good man who can cook, who wouldn't want a guy like that?!
Everything is all fine and dandy until the end(which I didn't see coming) and that is when it gets real interesting. I can't wait to read what happens next...it's getting good!
Megan is very good at getting a reader involved in the story and her writing is great especially the steamy scenes.

I have to say, the drama that takes place in this book was just amazing; to a maximum extent. There were times where I was laughing hysterically because of what was going on with Trixie. What other problems could this girl get into?
You think you got everything figured out with her, and she goes and throws something completely different at you. It ends up being off the wall hilarious. I will say this, the last sentence, I COMPLETELY saw that coming! There is just something throughout the story that it made complete sense.
Now with that being said, we get Trixie dealing with Cy AND Erik because Cy decides to move to the city. While he says it’s not because of her, I think it is. We have Erik who still wants to be with her. Trixie, who is unsure who she wants to be with, so let’s just say DRAMA!!
Throughout the story, the smut factor is still there. This time we get it with both guys, not at the same time so don’t get your hopes up about that! And we are left wondering who she is going to choose. If you have enjoyed the other books in the series, this one is a must read!

I just finished Firecracker Under Pressure. Trixie is now back with Cy and has Erik on the side. She cannot make up her mind which one she wants. Erik is still sexy as ever, I can feel his voice. Cy is sexy Im sure but I cannot get a feel for him. Im not sure what to really think, I liked it but then I didn’t. I don’t like how she is playing both Erik and Cy even though she does end up telling Erik. All I can think for the end is Karma. You have to read it to see. I am going to read the next one to see what happens.

The plot thickens!
What kind of mess has Trixie gotten herself into? I'm really getting hooked to this series! Trixie continues to spend time with both Cy and Erik. Previous men in her life were scared off. Both of these men aren't scared off by her, which makes them more desirable to her. With the way this installment ended, I am truly eager to find out what happens next!

These books are pretty juicy!! Read all 3 in less than a day. Now I'm trying to patiently wait for #4.
