Night sweats, unpredictable periods, mood swings, excessive blushing, hot flashes happen to the best of us. These signs that you’re moving into the next phase of your life can be unnerving. This is when your hormone levels start to fluctuate so be prepared and understand the most common concerns women have.
These signs can start as early as the mid-thirties for some and for others not until after 50. When the signs initiate, you don't notice them much. In fact you ignore them but fate brings you back to reality in the most hostile manner. One day when you’re looking in the mirror expecting to see that pretty young thing, the one that often triggered a whistle, a stare or an inappropriate comment from the opposite sex, instead, you’re staring at a fully grown woman who looks a lot like her mother. One thought will keep going through your mind, "When did this happen?!”
Ageing has to take place and so it will, but the main question is what are you doing to keep these natural effects of the process in check? You must do something to remain as close to your younger counterpart as you can. I'm not telling you to do something drastic, but in order to continue living a healthy and attractive life, there are many things that you should consider. You’re skin care, your diet, your habits; everything that has a direct effect on you and your body.
My aim is not to depress you, maybe just wake you up a bit. In fact, the event of moving into this phase can be a beautiful occurrence, something to celebrate and be radiant about. At least that is what we are all told! It means you have successfully crossed the half-way point on the bridge of life. I did say my aim is not to depress you, didn't I? Seriously, if you take some steps now, it really won’t be a big deal. In fact, you can look in the mirror and marvel how well you look. The key is to start NOW.
Ruth Ford Elward, Author of Diverse Mysteries. “I love mysteries, if you love variety in your mysteries, then we’re kindred spirits. My greatest joy is to be able to lose myself in my writing and give my readers an array of suspense filled Mysteries and Thrillers. These include plots against a government, solving crimes, creating black op missions, finding a long lost artifact that could change the world or thwarting a plot to regain a kingdom. A variety that will satisfy the most discriminating palette for mysteries.”
After years in the business world between managing a division for an international financial printing company, modeling in her spare time and later to performing esthetic and laser treatments, Ruth found her real passion lies in the world of writing for which she does full time.
“Writing keeps the mind sharp and gives me the opportunity to exercise my imagination to engage the reader,” offers Ruth, who lives in Colorado and enjoys biking, golfing and ballroom dancing in her spare time.
This book has a lot of amazing natural remedies from acne to dandruff. I am currently going thru menopause symptoms. From hot flashes to acne ,to dry skin. The only thing I didn't see was how to combat the hot flashes/night sweats. I liked that she had natural remedies along with advice to go to the doctor if you didn't get the results you where looking for. I received this book for free for my honest and unbiased review. This review is 100% mine. This was a good read .
