A thorough and exhaustive read/text on the Biblical expectations (and examples) of a leader today. A profound measuring rod packed with Scripture, this really made me see where growth was needed personally.

The Making of a Leader is a thorough and scripturally-based study on Christian leadership. It covers the full range of leadership aspects, including governmental leadership and what leadership means for every Christian.

This is not a one-and-done kind of read, but rather a text that merits repeated study and reflection. It is literally *filled* with scriptural references, forming endless springboards for even further study and research. It has a slight Pentecostal leaning, yet is a suitable guide for Christians of any denomination.

Note that the Kindle version needs a great deal of editing, as it is rife with typographical errors, misspellings, and poor formatting. Much of this was likely introduced in an OCR process without subsequent or adequate proofreading. The content, however, stands up for itself in spite of this.

I recommend this book.

This was required reading material for Bible college but was probably one of the most fascinating books I’ve read on leadership. He broke it down in a way that was easy to digest and apply to real life scenarios.

I absolutely recommend this book to every leader out there. In his usual style, Frank Damazio is comprehensive in his treatment of what it takes to be a godly leader.

If you seek to build leaders in the church, make this book a prerequisite. I read this book about seven years ago, and it's still a book I reference often. Now it's available in Kindle format, thank God!

A great exposition. I would love to take a week or two on each subject and really think about what Frank has said. This is a very detailed description about leadership.
