In this installment of Brie (after graduation)she gets to visit her Master's hometown in Italy. When Thane and Brie are visiting, he is faced with a part of his past that he will not be able to ignore. Brie is faced with a decision that could potentially break her heart; but it is amazing what she is willing to do for love. Is their love for one another strong enough to overcome this hurdle?
One thing I have loved about the Brie series is how even though they are short stories, there is never a dull moment to be had. Each story involves catching up with old friends, adventure, and hot sex! You would almost think the sex would get boring between the same couple; but it doesn't. Red Phoenix does a wonderful job with introducing new and exciting sexual "games" and positions between the couple. Brie and her Master have blazing hot chemistry together, and this book is packed with some firsts for them. It is nice to see that Thane has a creative side, and he seems to enjoy making up some pretty erotic scenes for his sub! He even learns how to use a whip, and if Brie's response is any indication to how good he is-then he should be extremely proud of himself! I also loved seeing a bit of a playful side to Thane, it has been a pleasant surprise to get to know him more in the After Graduation series, as in the first series I found him more of a mystery man then anything else.
I can't say enough good about the Brie series. I also adore Red Phoenix's work, and I will always look forward to reading anything she writes. I noticed at the end of this story, there is a note stating that the next book will be the last in the "After Graduation" series...This makes me so sad, although I guess all good things come to an end at some point. I have loved taking Brie's journey first through her "Submission School" days, and then her "After Grad" days. This is a series that I will take pleasure in reading every so often, and it will always have a special spot in my library.

And the emotions just flow… It was a rollercoaster of emotions and happenings that covered a big range of feelings!! Not to forget the vivid visit to Italy!! It made me hungry to visit Italy like Brie and Master. Sigh….

It has taken me quite awhile to get myself to read the final two parts of the After Graduation serial. To be perfectly blunt, I've not been enjoying it as the the previous one. Brie's adventures in the Submissive training centre, though not exactly believable, were quite unforgettable and made for a fun read. I haven't had that much luck with what happened afterwards. I'm aware I gave positive reviews for AG, too, but now I think it was probably me trying to keep my enthusiasm for Brie & Sir's love affair. However, I have had some problems with from the get-go.
Firstly, the suspense was lost for me. Part of the fun while Brie was in training was guessing which Dom she would pick to offer her collar to. Now that that is known, I'm not really wondering about anything. Sure, there are some parts added to create some mystery, but they aren't working for me. I actually preferred Sir in the previous serial when he was all closed off, surrounded by an air of mystery. I particularly liked that he was a man of few words. I'm not really a fan of all the things he said in AG. All this combined was the tipping point for me to take a break from Brie. To be exact, it was Sir calling his mother a beast that completely cooled me off.
Secondly, there was much less kink. In first Brie serial, there was so much going on with so many people, and now it's very sparse and honestly not as nearly as entertaining as before. Even when something good gets on the way, Sir or Brie manage to ruin it for me by saying something so, so, so cheesy. So cheesy. Ugh. I'll say again, I preferred the quiet Sir.
Thirdly, the formal talk. I find it weird the way Brie and Sir talk to each other now that they are in a committed relationship. I suppose it was somewhat understandable before when they were a headmaster and a student, but now it's plain weird. That is also the problem I had with almost all of the characters. They were all so formal.
Fourthly and fifthly Brie was often too childish, and I did not care for where Ms. Clark's character was taken: the only Domme in the sea of Doms, and she got that. I wish their community was more... colourful.
Case in point would be this part of AG. I know this is more of a review for the series -- one that I've used mostly to vent -- but it applies perfectly here. Also, I do know that I usually give two stars to books I didn't like but feel bad giving one star, but here I really do mean what Goodreads says about the two-star rating: it was okay.

You will not be disappointed! This book, it pulled at my heart a little more than the others. If you've followed the series then you'll know how Brie has grown and this one, well, it just about tops as the ice cream on the pie. Italy, it holds lots of love for our favorite D/s couple. A round of applause for my friend and fellow author, Red, for creating another masterpiece.

There are a number of author’s that I just cannot wait to read and Red Phoenix is one of them. Especially, her Brie Series. I hate that we are almost finished with Brie After Graduation. There is just one more novella to go, but Red Phoenix is promising that it will be longer than the others. If it is anything like #7 then WOW !!! Fans are in for a treat. So many things happened and in this reader’s opinion, all were fantastic.
We learn a little more about Ms. Clarke and her past but still I want to know what exactly she did to Rytsar. Also loved how Master made Ms. Clarke apologize to Brie. He is so in tune to her emotions.
There is an intense Bullwhip scene with Master and Brie … wowza.
Master and Brie travel to see Brie’s Parents … hehehe … saw that one coming. “Secretly I am hoping to find out her parents are in a BDSM relationship, now that would be hysterical.”
Master and Brie travel to Italy … O.M.G. I cannot even describe what happens there. A woman from Master’s pass has waited for him for 18 years … SAY WHAT !!! Parts were uncomfortable for poor Brie. But I think in the long run it was the best thing that could have happened for Brie and Master; I think it brought them closer together and showed Master where Brie’s heart is. This reader will tell you she was crying like a baby when Master and Brie had their talk.
We also celebrate Brie’s Birthday. There are some humorous moments, and again another shocker with Ms. Clarke and Rytsar.
Please Red, I am asking as a fan … before ending After Graduation answer a few of this readers questions, in the last book. Please … please … PLEASE !
1) What the heck did Ms. Clarke really do to Rytsar?
2) Are Brie’s Parents accepting after all, and are they into BDSM now?
3) Does Master propose to Brie? And make little Brie’s?
I do not want to give too much away but I must put a number of my favorite lines in this review. They are just too meaningful not to mention.

Loved it, Loved it, Loved it. As always Red Phoenix comes through with another one of her books. She continues to bring us through Brie and Sir's life after her graduation from where it all began, "Brie Learns the Art of Submission" I found Red on Goodreads and fell in love immediately. With each book, she leaves you wanting more.
Brie first shares her lifestyle with her family. She wanted them to know of her excitement of her documentary. Sir then brings her to Italy to meet his family. It was a very touching reunion.
I give this book 5 stars and even though its a short story it certainly is a great one.

My favorite in this series so far, I thoroughly enjoyed it! It had me feeling lots of different emotions, but most of all it is the love between Master and Brie that has left me feeling their devotion and true commitment to one another.
Feeling a little sad that there is only one more to go in the series, but I bet it will be another fantastic book by Red Phoenix!

My heart is just at peace right now! I really loved this novelette of Brie #7! Red Phoenix NEVER disappoints her fans! So emotional on so many different levels...you just have to read it to understand! This book left me feeling like I'd just had a good time with good friends and can't wait TIL We get togetger again! Thanks for the party Red! Absolutely wonderful!!!

I received this book from the amazing Mistress Red for an honest review.
Ok Ok Yeah I love this series and Yeah I loved the series before AND Yeah I love allll things Red. If you are a true followerer, like ME, then you have been waiting and waiting for this release. It is a bitter sweet read because we know there is only 1, yes friends, 1 book left in the series....sniff sniff.
So this book has a lot of fun, sex and revelations like every book in the series. Brie and Sir go and face her paretns who are none to thrilled with the lifestyle Brie is in and hate Sir even more then before. So sad really that they are so closed off to what she is telling them about her and Sir. BUT maybe not all hope is lost with her parents at the end of the chapter?????
Sir and Brie have a lot of naughty, but quiet, fun on the airplane....hot very very hot!!! They were flying to see Sir's family in Italy. Brie is overwhelmed with the emotion she sees in Sir and his family at his return...18 years is a loooong absence. Brie is defo challenged by Sir's long lost childhood sweetheart for Sir's affections....growl. I will say I had some serious tears at the cafe scene. Red, you are an awesome writer because my heart was breaking at what Brie said to Sir about Condor love.....sigh. Sir does make everything right when he and Brie played "capture the princess" .....I wanna play that game with Sir as well......
Ok so my BIG shocker moments were seeing Todd and Mary....say WHUT!!!!! Yes my friends Todd and Mary.....but the biggggest shocker was what Ms. Clarke does at Brie's birthday party. Let me clarify: the 2 things she does....GASP at them both!!! OMG so awesome. Ms. Clarke also got me when she and Brie had a confrontation at the club and Sir made her apologize to Brie. Man, I was stunned.
Ok so I am keeping my review generic because I want you to read this series for yourself. I love the character of Brie and I love how she and Sir have grown sooo much from the very first book in the series and I eagerly wait the final installment of this beloved series.

I got this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review..
I have to say that this book is one of my favorites in the series... there is a lot of romance and drama...
first off Brie has to face her parents... AGAIN!!! this time is a lot worse then before.. she has to come out and tell them about her life style and also her new movie...
lets say the discussion with her father went a lot worse than her mother. Her father came out yelling and her mother was just in shock.. but her mother kept the movie..
even though Brie's heart was broken from her parents she was on her way to meet Sir's family.. in Italy!
while they are in Italy Brie meets Sir's old lover. according to his family they were suppose to get married... She still believes that she is going to marry him.. Brie knows what she needs to do once she meets her. She can cook, sing, and she is beautiful..
finally Brie learns her new toy and sir is happy to introduce it...

I love & fully appreciate the unique & extremely creative book and series. Red Phoenix is a talented author who is obviously extremely intelligent, strong, witty & creative. She's also imaginative & kinky. I LOVE those qualities.
The characters she writes are wonderful, deep & complex. I love getting to know them more with each book in the series, especially the intense, intelligent and suffering Thane. The emotions run so deep.
This book, like the series is a wonderful mix of imaginative, detailed & graphic erotica that's used to create connections and to forge deep bonds. It may sound superficial, but it is not... at least not to me.
Part of my love for this series is the depth at which I've grown to care about the characters. I feel as though I truly know and love them. I also love the world that Ms. Phoenix has constructed for us.
I never want this series to end and I will grieve its loss when it does. I also HATE waiting to see what will happen next. Where will we be lead on this amazing journey? I wait impatiently.
I strongly recommend this book as well as both of the Brie series. Read it in order to fully appreciate the intensity of this incredibly intense journey.

This was a great short read. As always I was hooked from the time I opened this book. My emotions were up one second and wanted to cry the next. It started with the upsetting talk between Brie and Ms. Clark. Which lead to Sir forcing Ms. Clark to apologize to Brie. Then Sir took Brie to her parents and oh man was that heart wrenching. I only hope in the final book her parents are able to accept Brie for who she is.
Sir then took Brie to Italy. All I can say about the plane ride is WOW was that HOT; the things that man can do with belts. When they get to Italy I loved his grandmother. Leading up to the release of this book, Red Phoenix gave us the teaser from hell… the day Brie decides she needs to leave Sir. It stole my breath when I read this teaser while screaming NOoooo in my mind, and then when I read the book and got to this point, again, I found myself holding my breath. How I loved this scene as it brought happy tears to my eyes with the depth of their love for each other. This second to last Brie is so heartwarming throughout and I loved how he shared his past with her. You will see a bit more of a glimpse into Ms. Clark to an extent that you begin to feel sorry for HER, of all people... only a little, however, as she is still so ruthless to Brie. I truly hope Faelan does not break Mary’s heart! I cannot wait to read the conclusion of this story… Happy Birthday Brie! As always, Red outdoes herself! Love ya Red!

I'm summing up all the books so far. I loved their journey. I was impressed with their dedication to each other. Brie is still learning but she submits so beautifully. Her Master is so sure of himself and he sticks to every decision he makes without doubts. I loved how she pushes her and make her fantasies real. But the tantra chair is the winner. I wouldn't mine having one myself.
We get to see more of the trainers and some of their past, so that some decisions make mores sense now. I felt for Faelan even though his obsession wasn't healthy. I'm still curious what happened with Rytsar and Ms. Clark. Their visit to Italy and Thane's past lover spice up things, but he is devoted to Brie and their condor love concurs everything.

Once again Red did not let her fans down. This book is a continuation of the story of Brie and her Master. Master is letting down his guard more and more and allowing Brie into his life. It is apparent that the love they share goes both ways and they are both growing from their relationship. Brie has made many life altering changes and is glowing in her chooses. Master is not taking himself as seriously and is finally starting to act more his age and not so stuffy. I can't wait till the next installment and see what will happen and if a Red will keep her fans happy and continue with these characters.

Again Red Phoenix has left me in awe, I just Love this series. Every Book is so completely captivating I can't put it down. When I began reading this series I just fell in love with all the characters and they just grow and grow till you feel you are a part of their world. In this book you just completely feel the LOVE between Master and Brie. This is a highly erotic book that leaves you fanning yourself throughout it, but it is also just one of the best love story I have ever read. I can't wait for the next book, If you haven't read this series get with the program you will not regret it, I cant recommend it enough !!

There seems to be so much that happens in this book, yet it's over in the blink of an eye and as always, I will be anxiously awaiting the next installment.
Another emotional tale told by Red Phoenix, my heart was breaking when Brie and Thane went to visit Brie's parents and then again when they get to Italy. There's no reason to doubt Thane's and Brie's love for each other though and you will love every minute of this international adventure, including a birthday celebration for Brie with a special twist from her Master. I will be counting the days until the next installment of this fantastic series.

Who the hell cries reading BDSM? Well me I guess that's who. Perhaps being someone who practices as Brie does, it immerses me into the story. I truly felt that Brie would lose Thane as they go to his native home and meet the former owner of his heart.
Her birthday celebration with all her friends as well as Sir's truly was a fun, perhaps next birthday I'll try the "Kiss for your Present" entrance, perhaps not. I am VERY interested to see if in fact it is ever revealed as to what actually happened with Sir, Mistress and Rystar...sounds like it would be very intense and who doesn't love intense?

I also loved Brie's journey, I love the fact that you started it from no experience at all for her, the idea of the training school and other beginners was a wonderful journey to go on throughout the series, I love all the characters and their paths as well, each one is a vital part to the series and for Brie on her journey.
The journey was intended for Brie but I found myself falling in love with Sir and his own personal journey to realizing what he wants and needs.
I have read and re-read this series over and over. I would love any other novellas you may entice us with, even on the other characters lives. I look forward to your future musings.

LOOOOOOVVED it!!! Definitely one of my faves in this series! I love how we got to see the other side of Sir with his familia and see his father's hometown...he was so happy and unguarded. Love the whole experience he shared with Brie! He threw a pretty awesome birthday party for Brie too! The airplane scene and playtime on their private island were freakin' HAAWWWTT! Brie and Sir share such an emotional and intense bond that it makes their relationship run deep like no other. Thank you Red for sharing this with us!

I love all things Red Phoenix and she does it again! Best book of the series! Master and Brie go on a heck of a rollercoaster! So emotional! My fav is the scene in Italy. My heart was breaking for Brie as she said what she had to say. I wish we find out exactly what happened with Rystar and Ms. Clark. Red has just danced around it so far. I also wished for a hot scene at the end of the birthday party! Book 8 is going to have a ton of loose ends to tie up. I just love the series and book 8's release will be bittersweet! I know I certainly will miss my Brie fix!

Wow! Very intense to read and watch Brie struggle with worthiness and a love beyond her personal needs. Brie is young and I love how Sir knows how to navigate and guide Brie to grow into her fullness. They both sacrifice in healthy ways to get the other to the next level personally and in their relationship.
Brie's willingness to step aside for Isabella was both sad and lovely. Even though Brie is immature and impulsive it is exactly what Sir needs to believe her love is true...just like she needs his stability and strategic thinking. They are perfect complements to each other.
