This book isn't good if you're starting from scratch with learning about candlesticks because it contains a lot of charts that don't accurately fit the description of the pattern's they're supposed to illustrate in an actual example. There's also a lot of grammatical errors some of which gives inaccurate descriptions of how certain moving averages and indicators work together. I'm a fan of the for Dummies line but I have to admit I'm a bit disappointed because of the numerous errors. I am a lot more knowledgeable after making it through this book from beginning to end despite them because I was able to build on the understanding of the candlesticks that I already had. Highly recommend "Japanese Candlestick Charting Techniques" Second Edition by Steve Nison.
