BIG 4* STARS READ!

This is really nice and hot read!
Surprisingly, this book had me hooked from the very first page!
My first thought was "Oh,another FSOG type of book" ,but I was so wrong!

This is a story about Skye and Landon, two very diferent kind of personality, but still enough similar to work perfectly together!
Sky is smart, nice girl who comes from very politically involved family.
Her ex boyfriend is abusive and a major asshole,so she dumped his sorry ass and started working for our hero Landon.
Their sexual chamistry and all that tension between the two of them is amazing! It's so well writen that I had problem with wet panties!

This was a great read!

4.5 hearts!

So first I have to admit that when I read the synopsis and signed up for this blog tour, I immediately purchased "Rumor Has It" because I NEVER trust that something can be read as a standalone when it is part of a series. But, both of these really can be read on their own but Since I give them both 4.5 hearts, I recommend you go ahead and one click them both at the same time!

In "Rumor Has It," Ellie and Mason's love story was perfect! I loved it! One of the great parts of the story was Ellie's support system in her friends Skye and Katie. To see Skye get her own story, WOO HOO!

"Picture Perfect" is not a carbon copy of "Rumor Has It." Skye's story is amazingly different but just as capturing. Skye is reeling from a recent breakup from her controlling and mildly abusive ex boyfriend. Peer pressured into getting out of her slump and going out, Skye encounters this delicious man that makes her insides do all kinds of crazy things. Acting on impulse, she kisses this stranger hard before leaving him high and dry, knowing this isn't the type of girl she is.

Limelight Series Review

I discovered Elisabeth Grace while going through the roster of attending authors for The Novel Experience book signing in Atlanta on March 28, 2014. I was trying to familiarize myself with several of the new authors attending. I researched all the major review sites, social media and major retail sites to select some of these new authors to read. The one author that stood out, with an outstanding review rating was Elisabeth Grace. I downloaded Rumor Has It and dove into the book before I attended the signing. I was astounded by the excellence in her writing. Upon meeting Elisabeth, I found that not only is she a very charming and gracious lady, she is also a very gifted writer with the ambition of building a strong and entertaining book series. The series she is creating has all the elements a reader wants. Each book will be connected by the characters but will feature a different couple. Each book can be read as a stand alone book. There are no cliffhangers that leave the readers frustrated and sitting on pins & needles.

Her writing style is crisp, clean, imaginative, original and fresh. Her characters were quirky, charismatic and very real. She delivered just the right amount of angst without weighing the story down. She added loads of humor that humanized her characters. The characters had tons of steamy sexual tension that progressed into a blazing love affair that happens only once in a lifetime. Through it all, the story kept the reader captivated.

I was thrilled to find out that her second book would be releasing within a few days after the book signing event. I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Picture Perfect. The anticipation was well worth it and I am very pleased to be reviewing the Limelight series.

Rumor Has It was an amazing debut. It was refreshing to read a book, in NA genre, that the characters were strong, secure people that have had some bad experiences that could have left some lasting scars. Rather than dwell on these bad experiences, they are both moving forward in life with a positive outlook and a healthy dose of caution and control.

Ellie is a college graduate that cannot find work in her field. She is biding her time working in a real estate office until something opens up. She is not doing much better in romance field either. A previous relationship that ended on a very bad note has been splashed all over YouTube. She has gained the reputation of being a pariah that feeds on men. It is the exact opposite of what she is in real life. She is cautious of dating and has focused her energy into finding a good job in her field. She has two great friends that are her lifeline of support and her only social activities. They are loyal, protective and pushy when Ellie needs it most.

While dealing with her crappy job she meets the sexy Mason Nash. She has no idea of who he is or what he does. She just knows he has the right amount of sexiness to bring her out of her seclusion. It is quite obvious these two are from completely different worlds. They have just as much in common as they do in differences. This works in a positive way for them and it makes their attraction to each other stronger. As the relationship progresses, Ellie will find out exactly who Mason Nash is. She will have to choose between dealing with the limelight or letting go of something good.

This story was consuming. I could not put the book down. I loved the humor and the quirky personalities. And talk about a steamy romance that will have you wanting to sit on ice cubes, this book has it! The story is fun loving, charming, sexy, and very realistic.

Picture Perfect is the latest release in the Limelight series. The story is completely original and can be read as a stand alone rather than in series order. This book heroine is Ellie’s best friend, Skye Summers. She is the daughter of a politician and has been trained throughout her life that she has to be conscientious of her public image. She is fiercely independent and has just landed a great job as an assistant to the president of one of the leading PR firms in the city. Steele and Associates can be real stepping stone for her future career.

After a recent breakup from her over possessive boyfriend, Skye’s friends convince her to a night out on the town. While out she encounters a sexy man that almost leads her to making some very bad decisions. These decisions could be very detrimental to her father’s career, as well as her own upcoming career. Luckily she comes to her senses before anything major happens. On one hand, she is thrilled that she can be attracted to another man after her ugly breakup. On the other hand, she is determined to stay away from any romantic entanglements until she has her new job and future career firmly under control.

When she meets her new boss, he is non other than the sexy man she met while out with her friends. The very sexy man that she almost had an illicit encounter, compatibility and blazing sexual chemistry with. Once they decide to give their relationship a go, it is the best thing that has happened to either one of them.

A combination of bad publicity, hidden secrets and bad choices will begin to surface. When they do, it will pull this couple apart. It could destroy Landon’s company. It could destroy Skye’s father’s political career. It will destroy their trust in one another and the relationship they have built.

Together these two will have to find resolutions that will protect all parties involved. They will have to learn to listen to their hearts.

Picture Perfect is a fun, compelling and romantic book. It will show just how much social media can affect your life outside of your inner circle.

I loved Rumor Has It and Picture Perfect. I cannot wait for the next book in this series. Elisabeth Grace has some other upcoming releases, not in this series, that look very promising. I know I will read them because I am hooked on her writing style and gifted craftsmanship.

This is a fantastic second book from Elisabeth Grace. If you read Rumor Has It (which I HIGHLY recommend), you will know that this story is going to be a humorous story about finding love in a crazy place. Elisabeth has me laughing hysterically throughout this book. Both books work the perfect amount of humor and romance in them. They have the right formula for a perfect story!
Picture Perfect tells the story of Skye. She is an independent women whose parents are in the spotlight because of politics. When the story starts, Skye has just broken up with her abusive boyfriend. She doesn't tell anyone the real reason why they broke up. She is a private person and wants to keep things to herself and also not worry anyone. After the break up, her friends make her go for a Girl's Night at a local bar/club. Skye is starting to get back in the swing of being single again. She is actually having fun. Dancing, drinking, flirting. Just when she thinks she is going to talk to the perfect guy... the grossest things ever happens to her. OMG I was laughing so hard. I cant even share it because I don't want to ruin it!!
Skye suddenly finds herself being helped out the gross situation by a hot stranger. Throwing caution to the wind, Skye and Mr Tall, Dark and Handsome began to go at it in the bar bathroom. When Skye realizes this could be a bad idea, she runs. Never getting the guys name.
Skye doesn't have to look far for her sexy knight in shining armor, because he ends up being her boss at her new job. Landon is one of the sexiest CEO's in town. He is rich and single and everyone loves him. Especially the ladies.
Skye decides that she as Landon need to keep things professional, forget about what happened and move on from there. But that is easier said than done. These two have unbelievable chemistry. It was seriously off the charts.
When Skye's ex starts turning up again, Landon becomes her protector. Landon is super sweet and unbelievably sexy the way he takes care of Skye.
Without giving the story away, there is drama all over the place in this book. Skye and Landon both has crazy ex's while onto of their professional relationship and family situations.
I am pretty sure Landon in my new Book Boyfriend. He has everything you want all wrapped into one package.
This book has be laughing throughout. It was a great read. Elisabeth writes a great story. Both books I have read are serious must reads.
She is one author I keep checking when her next book will be out next!!!

Secret/forbidden love stories are a real guilty pleasure for me and I really enjoyed this.
Girl is attracted to a handsome, hawt stranger she meets in a club, they have a scorching hot moment, she flees and they're both left wondering what if. Days later she starts a new job and have a guess who her boss is?
Awkward...
Cue lots of lust filled stares and a little office-based flirting. Definitely my favourite type of story. To add a further level of complication, the girl is a politician's daughter and someone who's supposed to avoid scandal and he's owner of a PR company who can't be seen to be taking advantage of his employees.
I loved that there was romance in this too, it wasn't a story where they're humping from the get go and the anticipation builds nicely because of that. There isn't as much creeping around and illicit liaisons as I'd perhaps have liked in a story like this and that really is the reason why it's not a five star read, but I enjoyed reading about them getting to know one another in private. The sex scenes are really hot and I'm happy to report he's a dirty talker...oh yeah.
Although this is the second in a series, I read it as a standalone and it worked perfectly well. Recommended

I was lucky enough to receive a gift of this book. I thought Ellie and Mason's story was amazing. I was worried that Picture Perfect would be a carbon copy of what happened, and I couldn't have been more wrong. I am pretty sure that I love Skye and Landon more, the characters fit together better. I love how protective Landon is of Skye, and even though she is going through her own personal problems, she is strong-willed, and so thoughtful of her loved ones. This book was steamy, and I didn't want it to end. My stomach kept getting tied up at various parts, and I had to put the book down and pace around my house a few times, sometimes because I was nervous for the characters, and other times because I couldn't believe what was happening. Elisabeth made me so invested in the characters that I was feeling the same emotions they were. I thought this was a more emotional book than Rumor Has It, but the funny parts had me cracking up and sometimes cringing in public. Even more so when I read the note to the readers at the end. I'm excited to see what the follow up to Picture Perfect is, there are so many wonderful characters, and I can't wait to see what everyone is up to!

I really enjoyed this book! I love this Limelight series and have been anxiously awaiting this books release -- it did not disappoint! I love the way Skye and Landon meet. I'm a sucker for a good boss/employee romance and I love how these characters relationship developed. This book also had some good steamy scenes. I really like this authors writing - it keeps you interested, the characters are easy to like and the book flows nicely and you can't put it down. Looking forward to the next book in this series! Highly recommend!

I fell in love with Elisabeth's writing in her steamy debut, Rumor Has It. She hit it out of the park with the second book in the Limelight Series and has a fan for life!

Elisabeth's writing is quirky, engaging, flawless and effortless. The chemistry between her characters grabs you from the very first pages and keeps you rooting for their sexy-as-all-hell happily ever after.

I definitely recommend anything by this up and coming author!

**ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review by the girls and I at www.sizzlingpages.com **

After their first brief, scorching meeting in a
bar - both are shocked, to say the least to find out that Skye has been hired
to be Landon's personal assistant.  Skye
doesn't want to do anything to ruin her new job and possibly damage her
father's name as he runs for Senate.  She's also trying to prove she's independent
and doesn't need her parents money to get by.  Landon is worried about crossing the line as
her boss, and as the owner of the Public Relations firm, he has a reputation to
uphold - but he can't get the way she felt against him when they kissed at the
bar out of his mind.

Wow!  There
is definitely a ton of chemistry between Landon and Skye - and the sexual
tension as they try not to cross the line between boss and employee becomes a
serious challenge that is impossible to overcome.  Taking a business trip together puts them in
more situations together and things definitely heat up between the two of them.

This is definitely a lighter read, with some seriously
hot scenes (Landon has figured out the very best way to drink Champagne for
sure!) - with a few twists and turns along the way - as they get to know each
other, while hiding the fact from everyone that they are together - not to
mention other outside forces that seem to make their relationship difficult to
work out.  I'm really enjoying reading
this series - and definitely look forward to the next book with Katie - because
she is going to be something else!

Picture Perfect is the second book in the limelight series, but it can be read as a standalone. The first book, Rumor Has It, is about Ellie and Mason and this book is about Ellie's best friend Skye. Ellie and Mason make an appearance in the book, but this is completely Skye's story. I really like the theme that Elisabeth Grace has worked into this series. Neither of the characters are celebrities in this one, but Skye is the daughter of a politician, and Landon owns a PR company, so the media plays a role in this book as well. If you remember my review of Rumor Has It, you know that I COMPLETELY FELL IN LOVE WITH IT. It was one of my favorite new adult romances ever! So Picture Perfect has some damn near impossible shoes to fill. Did I like it? Yes!! Did I love it as much as Ellie and Mason's story? No, but it was still a great read and a good edition to the Limelight series.

Skye is used to being the perfect daughter, and is calm cool and collected in almost situation. Until she meets Landon. She meets him in a nightclub after some drunk guy throws up on her. UMM, EWW!!! (Side note: Elisabeth Grace said this happened to a friend of hers. How crazy is that?!) He comes to her rescue and she acts very out of character for her and ends up in a heated lip lock with him. Fast forward to Monday, and she goes into her new job to meet her boss...Landon. Yep, right then and there I knew that I would enjoy this book as well. I did not envy Skye. I think I would have died of embarrassment, but she handled herself with class. Skye often acted with maturity beyond her age...not all the time, but most of the time, and I respected the heck out of her for that.

Landon was a treat. A yummy, yummy treat. He was a hot, young, successful professional with daddy issues. (I thought it was a happy coincidence that it was the girl with the great relationship with her father and the guy that had the strained relationship by the way.) So it should come as no surprise that he was used to girls throwing themselves at him. But what I liked about him was that he was able to recognize that Skye was different, and he didn't treat her or pursue her in the same way he would one of those one night stands. This is not a story where people start out as a one night stand and later want more. Landon and Skye were both attracted to each other, but because they worked together they didn't rush into anything. Their relationship was a gradual buildup and I loved every second of it. I also loved how protective he was of Skye. I love guys like him.

Picture Perfect was surprising, fun and oh so satisfying. It is so easy to root for Skye and Landon. So why didn't I love it as much as the first book. Well, the first book was just flippin' amazing. Ellie and Mason will continue to go down in my books as one of my favorite book couples. Their story felt longer and more detailed than Skye and Landon's. But the main reason is that Skye did something in Picture Perfect that is a book pet peeve of mine. Let me explain, Guy character tells Skye that she better do "X" or "bad thing Y" will happen. Oh, and she can't tell anyone. And what does Skye do? She doesn't go to her dad. She doesn't go to Landon. She just freaks out alone and tries to do what is she thinks is "best" for everyone and gives into guy character. And I am thinking, WHY!???! How would guy character know if she talked to her dad? He wouldn't. I just really don't like it when female characters fall so easily into this blackmail trap. This will probably not bother most readers, but it is a personal issue for me. I have seen it happen in many books and it just makes my eye go all twitchy. Thankfully, it was just a little part of the overall story, and like I said I can see many readers glossing right over it, and not giving it a second thought.

Picture Perfect is a great new adult contemporary romance. Told in dual narrative, the readers feel like they really get to know both Skye and Landon. Elisabeth Grace is a fantastic writer and she writes guys exactly how I like them. Super hot, slightly(or totally) alpha, slightly protective, and super sweet to their girl. I cannot wait to read the next book in the Limelight series. I am excited it is about another celebrity. If you have not read the Limelight series you need to. Even though these books can be read as standalones, start with Rumor Has It. You will love it.

I really liked this second novel in the Limelight series by Elisabeth Grace! I enjoyed the characters, their romance, and the storyline that Grace provided for us.

Pacing: I felt this one was really well paced. Landon and Skye's relationship progressed quite well given their situation and Grace did a good job of keeping the story going without too many lulls or too much filler.

Storyline: I really enjoyed this one. I do love the whole forbidden office romance going on and I liked that this storyline seemed to fall into place a bit more naturally than the first book in the series did. The story begins with Skye getting out of a messy potentially abusive relationship and starting a new job. She meets Landon Steele at a club one night and while she's not looking for anything more right now, she can't help the physical response he elicits from her. And then runs away. It made me chuckle because it sounds like something I would do! Unbeknownst to her, Landon is actually her new boss, which brings things to a whole new level of awkward and tense. Both know it would not be professional to have any kind of relationship, but staying away from one another is going to prove to be quite the task. Having to work closely together, it's only a matter of time before Landon and Skye give in. There was one obstacle thrown in I could have done without, as I felt it was added in to create more drama, which was unnecessary. There was already a more concrete storyline in place to add tension, and I felt that was good enough.

Characters: I liked Skye and Landon. Skye is sweet and a bit of a seductress! She isn't actively looking to start anything else after getting out of her previous relationship, but things with Landon just happen and that kind of chemistry is just hard to ignore. She is close to her father and she doesn't want to do anything that will jeopardize his career, which is why she shoulders some things later in the novel on her own, instead of seeking help. She cares for Landon and doesn't want her mess disrupting his business, as he's worked hard to get where he is today.

Landon is a great male lead. He's sexy, sweet, and dominant all in one. And man, do I love my dirty-talking boys! Landon could be a bit hard to read at times, but he is really a good guy who cares for Skye. He knows they should keep it professional, but working so closely with her does nothing to help his libido. Landon is very protective of Skye and he can't stand that her ex, Vic, hurt her. He refuses to watch another woman get crushed under the weight of a man, after seeing what his father did to his mother. He was the one to pick up the pieces and therefore, cannot let himself forgive his dad, despite his pleadings to see him and make things right.

We also get to see Ellie, Mason, and Katie from Rumor Has It show up. Ellie and Katie are those girlfriends every girl needs in their life and I like that Grace included their friendship.

Final Thoughts: Overall, I thought Picture Perfect was a great read. I liked seeing Skye and Landon's relationship develop slowly, as well as watch them fight the attraction they feel towards one another. Their scenes together were sexy and I didn't feel they were too over the top at all. There were a couple of things I could have done without, because I didn't feel they were necessary to fueling the plot. The storyline really did stand on its own, with their relationship, Skye's ex, and the matter of how important public appearance is to both of them.

This book was absolutely amazing this is the second book I've read from this author Elisabeth Grace and I'll tell you I just bought two other books from her. Because her writing is so great the book flowed very well it had ups and downs with surprises I said it before I hate straight forward books where you know what's happening before you even read it. The characters are amazing I relate to Skye and Landon they have the connection my husband and I had when we started dating in high school and we're still going strong after 15 yrs. So my point when you have a connection like Landon and Skye you fight for that love it is so rare.

Skye is a politician's daughter sweet, caring, classy, and can charm a room with a smile and the sparkle in her eyes Landon has told her that multiple times so when she doesn't have the sparkle he knows something is wrong. So she's 21 yrs old and wants to be independent she grew up in wealth and could work for her dad and get paid better but she did it because she is badass to me a go getter. She got an amazing job as an assistant to the boss Landon Steele PR Firm. She loves it too even though she worked there 1 week with out the boss there but today he come back so she want everything to be perfect. But when she lays eyes on him she is shocked and embarrassed you want to know why read this amazing book. The most important thing about Skye yes she's caring but the people she loves. She'll do anything to protect them even lies to protect them which Landon told her to trust him and promise if her ex contact her and she didn't so imagine the heartache he felt. Can he trust her again who knows,

Landon Steele is a self made business man meaning he did it on his own for reason you have to read about in the books. He's confident, sexy as hell he thinks he can stay in control like he does in business situations but feelings for a girl right away is shocking. It's even worse because he's the bus. They are the last people out of work most of the time he always touches her acting like an accident. They always says no way it would be bad form Skye in so many ways. So how if when they do get together will Skye be the happiest girl alive after what she had to deal with her ex Vic she feels safe or is she so much in her head Landon slips through her fingers,

Again you have to read this Elisabeth out did herself I'm starting "Rumar Has It" I wish I read this one first but thank god they are stand alone books that I won't know everything that happened in her BFF Ellie and her man Mason went through. So book was awesome and it's a must read. I will be spreading the word everywhere that's how good it is. I just became a HUGE FAN OF ELISABETH GRACE!!!

Picture Perfect (Limelight #2)
By: Elisabeth Grace
♥♥♥♥♥

This is another great book by the talented Elisabeth Grace. In the Limelight series, book one Rumor Has It, Elisabeth has us smiling and giddy throughout the entire book. She has us falling in love with the leading man Mason and she truly had me wondering if she would be able to top it. Well everyone SHE DID IT!

Skye Summers is a twenty one year old who has such class and beauty that it radiats off of her. The daughter of the Mayor she has always considered her consequences to her actions. She is not the type of girl to let loose and live on the wild side. Yet, when she sets her eyes on this handsome man she sees at a club she can't resist. In a dark hallway of the club she finds herself making out with the man of her dreams. For a few moments she is wild and crazy. Yet, wild and crazy doesn't last long when she realizes what she is doing and turns and runs away not ever catching the hotties name. A few days later, Skye is finally going to meet Mr. Steele her new boss that has been traveling and finally returning to the office. Hearing all the good mornings she stands to greet and introduce herself and comes face to face with the hottie she made out with from the club.

Landon Steele is definitely book boyfriend material. He is of course gorgeous, but he is confident and powerful as well. He is immediately thrown off his game going face to face with the one girl that has been on his mind since she ran off on him. Yet, now she is his personal assistant.

The sexual tension between the two of them is off the charts. Elisabeth was able to write that with such feeling that you truly feel the passion between Landon and Skye. The relationship is not only physical but the true connection they have with one another is fantastic. The drama that seeps into their bubble can destroy them or bring them closer together. Will they be able to trust one another? Will blackmail tear them apart?

I can say that this book had me smiling throughout most of it. The drama and heartbreak, I had knots in my stomach wondering what was going to happen. Truly this is a great make you feel good about love book. A true romance that leaves you smiling.

I would like to thank the author for providing me with a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

First off, kudos to the author for having an original cover that isn't being splashed on every other book out there. I don't know about you, but to me it seems that many books coming out lately have the same cover as about three other popular books at the same time. Pleasing to the eye, the font and color choices really make this book eye catching and I'm a cover person. If the cover is boring, I will normally pass it by. Honestly, if it wasnt' for the Hunger Games movie I probably still wouldn't have read it because I didn't like the original covers of that series.

This story brings together two different type of people and places them in a setting so seamlessly that it is quite amazing. For those that like a hot read, this will have you checking your blood pressure because you will feel the heat. The tensions between Landon and Skye are like mini bolts of electricity that they want to bring caution to even though they know, deep down, that they would be polarizing together. Coming out of an abusive relationship, Skye is extra cautionary but finds the freedom with Landon that she thought only existed in books, but she also finds bumps in the road to get to that point.

The characters in this book are genuine and one could easily see themselves or a friend or two in them. The author isn't creating some whimsical romantic tale, but a story that is relatable and characters that you want to know from the start. The story doesn't bog you down with extras that many others do, the author gets you to the story and keeps you there until the end but than keeps you there even longer as you digest the full book upon completion.

Now, after all this, you may think, whoa, I'm not sure if I want to endure such a heavy tale. Trust me, the pages will fly by and you will not want to separate yourself from the book at all. A perfect beach, rainy, wintry, all season weather read, you will be engrossed so I suggest not reading while trying to fix dinner because the storyline will not be the only thing smoldering, so will your dinner or worse yet, your kitchen.

A 18+ book, for those that enjoy contemporary romance. You will not be disappointed.

Picture Perfect is Skye and Landon’s story. We first met Skye in Rumor Has It when we were introduced to her as Ellie’s best friend. I knew I liked her right away. I was excited to learn more about her in Picture Perfect, but I honestly had no idea how much I would come to connect with her over the course of her story. Landon and Skye were both wonderful characters. They both carry baggage from their pasts, but neither is going to let that stand in the way of their professional success. Landon is the ultimate book boyfriend. He is gorgeous, successful, supportive, protective, clear about his intentions and romantic as hell. Skye is a total force of nature. Despite her privileged upbringing, she is hardworking, driven and selfless to a fault.

The secondary characters played a crucial role in shaping the storyline of this book. Ellie continues to be the best friend Skye needs and she uses her own experience with a relationship lived in the spotlight to guide and support Skye. Vic, Skye’s ex-boyfriend, is the guy you absolutely have to hate. He is the one thing in Skye’s life that she has no control of and he knows it. If it were possible, I would have punched him in the face from the moment I met him. It says a lot about an author when they have the ability to craft a character that incites complete and total blood-boiling rage when you think about them.

Elisabeth Grace wrote a wonderful story that kept me engaged from the beginning and continued to run through my head long after I’d finished reading. By the end of the book I felt like I knew the characters, like we’d known each other for a long time, and that was a very satisfying feeling. My respect for Elisabeth Grace grew exponentially as I saw how she addressed some not-so-pretty situations. As the story progressed, it took some turns I didn’t expect and kept me on a bit of an emotional rollercoaster, in the absolute best way possible! This book was the perfect addition to the Limelight series. You will not want to miss out on getting to know Landon and Skye!

Picture perfect was just that... Perfect. I loved every second of it and I kept reading. I needed to keep reading. I wasn't disappointed at all. I never read the first one in the series and being as this is a standalone if was fine. I loved the storyline.

Skye, our leading lady is dealing with a recent breakup when one of her best friends takes her out to get out of her funk. No one knows the details of her breakup and being the daughter of a politician she wants to keep it that way. She is beautiful, sophisticated and confident. I really liked that about her. While out with her friend she has a crazy encounter with a sexy and mysterious guy. Of course she can't get him out of her head and when he walks into her new job...

Landon is gorgeous, headstrong, determined and yes, sexy! He's worked his way to get to where he was. He made sure to stay true to his roots, be domineering when he had to be and also just be an all-around great guy! After a crazy night out and a girl that he can't forget, he heads to work.

Both realizing who the other was tantalizing and endearing. Of course they had to draw lines and not get involved. Neither could forget and neither wanted too.

There is so much sexual tension between the two that you can't help rooting for them to get it on! You slowly watch as these two realize that there is more than to it than that and when outside inference starts to really mess things up you want growl in anger.

Will they get their happily ever after? Will Skye's private life from her past ruin everything? Will Landon be able to truly give his heart to someone and settle down?

You'll just have to read and find out! This was one great book and it's definitely a series that I will revisit again and again!

In book #2 of the limelight series (can be read as a stand-alone) we learn more about Ellie Wagner’s best friend Skye. Having a father in politics, she always knew how to act in public to only draw good attention to herself. Despite being born into privilege, she never flaunted it and made it a point to earn her first job at the well-known PR Firm of Steele and Associates.

When she first meets her boss, Landon Steele, it’s not at the office but there is an intense initial connection. When they meet professionally, they manage to keep the attraction between them more or less controlled at first. Landon tries to get his highly intelligent but really sexy assistant out of his head, and Skye tries hard to not fall for her gorgeous boss with the rapidly changing moods. She sees every facet of Landon’s personality, the “man of steele” ambitious businessman, the frustrated son, and the sexy and sweet man that he lets her see only once in a while. The sexual attraction between them is so intense it leaves you breathless.

What made Landon so sexy to me was what a good man he was (although his description didn’t hurt either). He’s successful, not ruthless, and the way he was with both Skye and his mother melted my heart. Things start heating up for Landon and Skye, and the love scenes are completely off the charts hot. I’ll never look at Cabanas on the beach in the same way again. Of course, he’s her boss, she’s the daughter of an up and coming politician, and there are lots of possibilities for what can go wrong, and questions if they are strong enough to handle it all. The angst comes to a head quickly, and I had to force myself to put the book down because I was so into their story and worried about their future.

Another great book from Elisabeth Grace! Read when you have time to devote an entire day, stopping will be really difficult!

Picture Perfect is the 2nd book in the Limelight series, but it can definitely be read as a stand-alone.

Skye Summers is the confident, well-rounded daughter of a politician who after a rough break-up, ends up meeting HOTTIE Landon Steele at a bar. Their first meeting is full of chemistry and the fireworks between these two are through the roof! Imagine Skye’s surprise when Landon ends up being her new boss.
Successful Landon Steele has never been one for relationships and definitely doesn’t want to mix business with pleasure, but when it comes to Skye he just can’t seem to stay away.

“God, what I wouldn’t give for his gaze to be his hands and to feel them on my bare skin.”

Talk about sexual tension and some hot scenes- Landon had me squirming! He knows what to say and certainly knows what he is doing. I mean the office scene, the cabana… I could go on and on!

“What I can tell you is that I want to spend time with you. I want to find out what side of the bed you like to sleep on…. I want to know everything there is to know about you and I want you to want all those things, too.”

I felt like we got to see several sides of Skye throughout the book. There were parts where she appeared weak and vulnerable and then times when she really showed her strengths. We also got a small glimpse into Ellie (Skye’s best friend and main character in book one- Rumor Has It) and Mason’s life together now, sarcastic and funny friend Katie is back and we met bad boy Calder Fox; who I have a feeling will be featured in book three of this series. Elisabeth Grace did another amazing job writing a book that was hard for me to put down. You definitely want to read this book and if you haven’t read Rumor Has It, grab that book up too.

Picture Perfect is, well, a perfect contemporary romance that had me hooked from the very first page! Every once in a while, I come across a book that gives me memorable characters (Hello, Landon!), fantastic, steamy sex scenes, and a storyline that I actually care about. Skye is a smart, hardworking girl who comes from a privileged background but has a very strong work ethic and does not trade in on her family’s name. Enter Landon, her driven, very sexy and gorgeous boss, who is actually a nice guy, and realizes that an office romance might it be such a great idea.

Elisabeth Grace is an author to watch. She made me really care about Skye and Landon and their chemistry was HOT but their relationship and emotional connection was beautifully developed and explosive. And I absolutely loved how neither of the characters were really a stereotype, they each made mistakes, had insecurities and seemed very real. And Landon, OMG, did I mention he is my new Book Boyfriend!?

“Every day I got a better idea of what a treasure the woman sitting across from me was. I just had to figure out what I was going to do about it. What kind of idiot discovered hidden treasure and then threw it back into the sea?”

This is a sexy, engaging, perfectly written contemporary romance, and I can’t wait to read more books by Elisabeth Grace!!

Picture Perfect by Elisabeth Grace is book #2 in the Limelight Series. It can be read as a standalone.

Skye Summers grew up in a political family. She knows how to act and what is expected of someone growing up the way she did. She lands her first adult job and is excited to pave her own way. That is until she meets her new boss...

Landon Steele is a hardworking playboy that has been busy building his own empire. He is looking forward to expanding his PR firm to the west coast. But when he meets his new assistant he is in for a shock...

I loved these two!! The sexual chemistry burned from the pages and I enjoyed both of their fight to ignore it!

If you have read the first book I have to say I think this one is better! I felt more emotional connected to the characters and their plight. Prepare yourself to laugh out loud, swoon and sigh because once Sky and Landon get together it is HOT! Landon is hardworking, protective and oh so sexy- total book boyfriend package! Picture Perfect is a must read!

Picture Perfect is the second book in the Limelight series by Elisabeth Grace. You can read it as a standalone but I would recommend reading Rumor Has It first. Skye first shows up there and you can get to know her a bit.

I really like Picture Perfect, in fact, I’ve like the whole Limelight Series so far. Elisabeth Grace does a great job with showing the emotions of a character. You really feel everything they feel. This is a book you read if you want something that isn’t overly heavy. Yes there is angst, but its not in your face, over the top.

This is an office romance book. But they knew each other for a slight but very hot moment before hand. Skye and Landon had a brief make out session in a bar before they knew that she was working as his new assistant. And that attraction didn’t wane when they found out. It was like a wildfire that kept growing until it combusted and took over.

This was a story about learning to trust, learning to love and learning to let go of some past issues.

Plot: 3/5
Characterisation: 3/5
Prose: 3/5
How much I enjoyed it: 3.5/5
The 2 person 1st POVs dimmed my excitement for this book. It doesn't help that the author's style of writing seemed juvenile reminiscent of most Wattpad authors.

Meg's Review:
Loved this book as much as the first. It can be read as a standalone. I really enjoyed reading them back to back though. Adds to the falling in love with this world that Elisabeth has created.

I had initially signed up to review this book without realizing it was part of a series. So I went out and bought book one. LOVED it. They are standalone novels as I said, but definitely worth reading together.

Picture perfect is Skye's story. She just went through a really bad breakup and has no desire to be out in the world searching for "the one". Well we all know how friends usually let that attitude go. They don't. Skye isn't any different.

She meets a guy that brings on the butterflies and jumps out of her comfort zone, then bolts. I was hooked.

Landon. *Swoon* Some of these scenes were H-O-T hot. Like throw on a cold shower.

This book had some GREAT twists in it. I loved the fact that it had parts I didn't see coming. It was a refreshing NA read with some steamy and very angst twists. I highly recommend it.

It sucks to realize you have great chemistry with someone, and we’re talking AMAZING chemistry, only to find out they’re off limits. That’s the situation Skye and Landon find themselves in after sharing a very brief but unforgettable moment of crazy passion, before realizing that she’s the new assistant he’s hired. Talk about awkward! But really, awkward isn’t the right word, because it was more like business as usual turned “How the hell are we going to stop from touching each other?,” and hot damn they had the blood racing through my veins every time that thought took over for them!

Let’s take a step back though, because this story was far more than just scorching sexual tension (even though that was one of the things I loved most!!). Skye was a strong, intelligent woman who had finally gotten her wakeup call when it came to her now ex boyfriend. He was a jealous jerk and had officially pushed her limits when he got violent over their breakup, so she was happy to have her mind otherwise occupied by thoughts of Landon. Well, other than the fact that he was someone she couldn’t have thanks to him being her boss. And he didn’t look at her like that anymore anyway, right? Yeaaaaah, not so much. Landon (whose mind we get to peek into thanks to dual POV), was just as taken by Skye as she was him, and his control was an ever-thinning rubber band waiting to snap. When they were forced to spend many hours together working on nabbing the next big client for the PR firm, Skye and Landon had plenty of time to get to know each other well; and plenty of time to finally give in to what they knew was meant to be.

I absolutely loved Skye and Landon’s characters, these were two truly captivating people who I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know. Add to that how intense and amazing they were together, plenty of chill-inducing drama, and emotional ups and downs that grab your heart from start to stop, and this was one read that I hated to put down! I’ve had this book on my review list for awhile now, and I wish I could have enjoyed it sooner, but now I’m excited to read more of this series and more from the talented Elisabeth Grace!

Quotes:

She must have made an impression on him because he stopped to say his goodbyes before we continued toward the reception area. Hell, she’d made an impression on me when we’d first met, but his reaction didn’t include sporting a rock-hard erection. ~Loc 246

I knew eventually I would have to face him, but I didn’t have time to deal with his bullshit right now. I had an empire to build and a sweet little secretary to get out or my head—the top one and the bottom one. ~Loc 470

He laughed in return, his chocolate eyes shimmering with mirth. “Still, three inches can’t be easy to take.”
“I’ve taken more before.”
“I’m sure you have.”
Wait. Were we still talking about high heels here? ~Loc 1180

It wouldn’t surprise me if people took him for an actor or model, being that we were in L.A. If the public had any idea of the orgasm he could give a girl, they’d think he was a porn star. ~Loc 1723

She’s gone and done it again.

Yet another delightfully funny, steamy, heartwarming read with fun, likeable characters set to a real life storyline.

Skye has landed her first real job and has her own apartment, finally striking it out on her own after having lived the life of the devoted politician’s daughter. Some might think that being born with a silver spoon in her mouth would make the transition to the adult world all the easier, being able to use her dad’s contacts or simply marrying for money, but Skye is determined to make her life for herself. When she is hired as the assistant to Landon Steele, CEO of Steele & Associates, an up and coming PR firm, she is ready to put her skills to work and make an impression on her new boss. Unfortunately she has already made quite an impression on him, when unbeknownst to either of them, they became acquainted in a near hookup at a club. Despite their attraction to one another, Skye becomes even more certain that she has to prove her worth to her new boss.

Landon Steele is moving up in the PR world and looking to branch out, possibly even adding an office in Los Angeles to start taking on celebrity clients. When he meets his new assistant and immediately recognizes her as the girl that got away after a sizzling make out session, he becomes conflicted over his feelings for her. He soon learns that she is not just a spoiled little rich girl looking to play in the grown up world, however he also can’t help fighting the attraction that keeps bringing the two of them together. Between trying to keep up appearances in the office and Skye’s father running for a senate seat, the two must decide how deep they want this relationship to get, however as with most relationships, it might be outside influences that decide it all for them. Ghosts from each of their pasts have other ideas.

While Picture Perfect is the second book in the Limelight series, it can be read as a standalone. The first book, Rumor Has It, follows the relationship between Skye’s best friend Ellie and her boyfriend Mason. Much like Rumor Has It, Ms. Grace crafts characters that you just can’t help but love. Landon is not only sexy, but he’s sensitive as well. Skye is a strong heroine that craves independence, while still wanting nothing but the world for those she loves. She understands sacrifice, even if it is her own happiness.

Picture Perfect is another five star read for me. Yes, it is a little typical of a NA romance, however I really love the characters and the storyline has snippets of real-life, with real-life consequences. I liked the appearances of Katie, Ellie, and Mason from Rumor Has It, even wishing there was more interaction between the two couples. I’m sure Mason and Landon could come to a mutually beneficial business arrangement (hint, hint). Once I picked this up, I didn’t want to put it down, as I was engrossed from the very beginning. If you’re looking for a fun, fast, sizzling romp, look no further!

Fluttering Thoughts:
Worldbuilding: Nice contemporary setting, with some of the rich & famous vibe considering Skye’s dad and the circles her and Landon frequent.
Characters: Skye was interesting. Considering the fact she came from what we might call privileged upbringing, I liked the “I wanna do shmit myself” vibe she emanated constantly throughout the read. She used her experience with shmoozing but tried to solve issues on her own every time. I can’t say I was terribly attached to her, but that might be due to the appearance of the abusive assy ex right at the beginning there. Many of the ‘humanizing’ tools (ie dramatic/traumatic experiences characters have gone through that make you root for them and get emotionally attached) tend to backfire with me, specifically any violence-related ones. Instead of getting attached I detach from the character most of the times. So I liked Skye and wanted her happy ending to happen, but I wasn’t biting my nails for it to happen, sadly. Of course, this is a highly personal thing, the normal emotional response tends to be the opposite of mine, so most likely you’ll love Skye from the get-go. Let’s be clear here, her reaction to it was authentic and believable, and well done if we can use the term under those circumstances, it was just my response to it that was out of whack.
Landon had a lot of potential, but for me it didn’t lead to me falling for him either. True, I love asshole-ish characters, villain types, totally unrepentant bad boys (and I favor them not being redeemed either as the story evolves, but angsting hardcore, lol – I R evil reader, keep in mind). So Landon has the potential to be alphalicious for me, but he didn’t fructify it in the end. He was too much of a sweet guy underneath it all, I think, lol.
The two of them made a great pair, they had great chemistry and they made perfect sense as a couple.
Plot: I liked the abusive ex tangent and how it pushed Skye to evolve. The office romance / smexeh boss trope was filled with romantic tension and I enjoyed the story.
Writing: First person, past tense narrative, Skye / Landon POV. Liked their different voices.
Curb Appeal: Great cover, hooking blurb, definite impulsive buy material for my contemporary NA needs.

All in all, this was a good read for me even if I didn’t fall for either of the characters. Which is why chances are it’ll be even better for you guys, I mean the story on its own carried on perfectly for me to enjoy it without crushing on any character – that’s saying something.
I fully recommend it if you’re into the characters with some violence in their past, sort of vanilla-like, sweet-ish (though I wouldn’t say fluffy!) office romance trope.

***3.5 Sweet Stars!***

Picture Perfect is the second book in the standalone Limelight series and focuses on Skye and Landon’s story. We met Skye as Ellie’s roommate and bestfriend in Rumor Has It, the first book in the series. I liked Skye in the first book and was happy to read about her own story.

This book is an easy read, a fun, light one but still with steamy parts. If you’re up for a lighter read, you might want to give this a try.

The characters are also likable, surprisingly, no snobby politician/parents or malicious, jealous co-workers, I liked that. Landon seems like a hot, good boss to me too. I mostly enjoyed until the last few chapters where Skye and Landon faced a “bump” in their relationship. I understand the need for a “problem” but I just didn’t feel much for it. It felt like a last-minute detail rather than a problem to be solved, which was also very easily resolved after like one chapter.
Overall, Picture Perfect provides a cute, drama-less love story which I very much appreciate!

Stars: 3.5 stars!
Recommended to: Those who would like to take a break from heavy romance and still read something sweet and a little steamy.
POV: First person. Dual POV.
Series: Yes. But standalone.
Cliffhanger: No.
EXTRA COMMENT: None.
