Cally is searching for her father's murderer in 1890 when gunmen chase her along the shore and she falls into a time pool. Requiem, a DEA agent, fishes her out of the surf in 1999. Cally has a hell of a time convincing Requiem that she is from the past. These trials and Req's reactions to Cally's innocent questions are hilarious. The tables are turned when Requiem ends up back in 1890 with Cally. Then the fun really begins and the action heats up while they hunt for her father's murderer together.

I really enjoyed the characters in this book. Ms. Plunkett did a wonderful job of keeping Cally true to form in the old west.

I love books where people travel in time to the past or the future. This book was amazing with the way the person came to the present and what she learned and how to fix the past. Lots of surprises and I loved the lead male character, he kind of reminded me of Zsadist from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
