When I started it, it wasn't exactly what I was expecting and I didn't like it. But I grew to appreciate it more and more as we continued and enjoyed it very much at the end. Would be a good tool to guide discussions for families, and emphasizes that it is a conversation and not a lecture. Nice resource.

This needs 10 stars. Cliched, I know. But still accurate.

This is the best Bible Study we've ever done...and we've done lots.

The format is simple. Start your family time with a few deep questions. And by deep questions I mean silly and fun things like would you rather or if you could go back in time where would you go?

Then you read a scripture. It's pretty varied but we did end in Revelations, which I liked.

After reading, from whatever version you have, (it's not in the book) there are some questions. Some are easy. Some require deeper thought. All cause you to think upon the verse and work through it as a family.

My favorite part was the behind the scenes look at the scripture we studied. Someone really took the time to do the research for us.

You end the discussion with applying that to your life. How will you apply this (love, worship, serving Jesus) to your week.

It's a weekly format, but we just did one lesson during our family time each night.

What I loved about this is that's its great for deeper teaching. There were many many nights that we went deeper. We have an age range from 2 to 17 and they were all able to participate. Yes, EVEN the two year old. Although his answers were pretty shallow. LOL

What more can you ask for in a Bible study? Drawing your family together, going deep into his word, all while laughing, talking, and having fun together.

I just wish there were 20 more in this series so we could move to the next one. I have NO idea what we'll read for Bible study next.
