I was terribly bored so I read this, not that I want to lose weight at all (it was just one of the Apple downloaded books on my iBooks for some reason). Anyway, weird 15 mins of my life.
How misleading! Okay, so I wasn't exactly expecting or even wanting to lose 10 pounds in a week (I don't want to lose 10 pounds, period), but the advice in here is so...standard...that this is something that will only work (maybe) if you are grossly obese. Like, never worked out a day in your life and drink a soda with every meal kind of lifestyle. This ebook is laden with gems like "drink water" and "cut out sugars"...come on, Michelle Obama tells me stuff like that every day. I think we should all know by now. That being said, the information in here was not BAD advice, and it can only help a person rather than harm them, so I'm giving it two stars instead of one.

I read all this book which was boring as hell. Glad i didnt pay for it!!! So here is all the book in this review. Drink bucket loads of water and add fruit, veg, and vitimins. Also excercise. I have a back problem and arthritis so excercise is out of the question. So the book told me more or less what everyone already knows. Even kids!! Awk sure at least the author tried....
I'm doing some reading on how to better myself by making some changes to my diet. The title of this ticked that box. This is a quick (30-min) read basically explaining the things you know you should be doing to lose weight, but probably aren't. Do more of the good stuff - drinking water, eating your veg and fruits, reducing carbs - and you'll be on the way to losing weight, although 10 pounds in a week is both unhealthy and very unlikely. Very glad it was free!
This eBook was easy to read and it didn't take me long to read it at all. It has some useful tips and suggestions, which I am going to try and put into practice. I have liked the Formulated Fitness Facebook page, which seems to include further tips and workouts that I shall try. Hopefully this will encourage me to exercise more, and hopefully this eBook will help me to drop some pounds.
Nice quick read that will keep you motivated before you feel like giving up. Had great tips included. While I don’t think you’ll be able to lose 10lbs in a week (unless you’re starting at 400lbs), you probably will be able to lose a decent amount of weight if you follow this along weeks/months.

I've been trying to loose a few pounds and just didn't know what path to take. I came across this book and decided to give it a try. It helped a lot and answered many questions. If you dont know where to start then try this book.
Reinforces all the things you already know, i am going to go for it this time, enough is enough, taking on more water will be a good start for a type 1 diabetic like myself.
It's fantastic guide for loosing weight. It's can be more better than usual whatever author described here but overall it can be better one than others.

This book deals with the " other factors" involved with losing weight. I am a seasoned athlete, that quite frankly forgot much of the common sense in this book. This book helps to demystify losing fat . Good read
Excellent short book on weight loss. No tricks. Just common sense. Find your daily calorie intake and eat under that. There is a neat link to plug in your info and get the results. Drink lots of water (she tells you how much). How to set up an exercise routine. How to incorporate weight training.
Also, she mentions some supplements that could help loose weight IF you are working out and eating the right foods. She mentions supplements, too, that are not tested enough. She mentions some that she would not recommend.
She also mentions a few reasons the weight may not be coming off if you are following the advice.
Good exercises with links to utube videos that demonstrate them.
This book has very basic information, most if not all of which you probably already know. If you do a search on weight loss, pretty much all of this information is available free. Other books and even health oriented magazines have covered all this. All subjects are touched upon lightly, so you'd need to go elsewhere for more in-depth and/or deeper coverage. It's definitely not the "ultimate kick start" the sub-title states. If you've never read or heard anything before on weight loss, this book could be an introduction and it's clearly written. I received this at a free or discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
This book is about how to start loosing weight. I like how it focuses on different areas in each chapter. I liked all the information about bloating and different supplements. I took off a star because I felt like while there were good chapters there was also chapters that were less than helpful. These chapters were just adding pages they did not add to the information in the book. *I received this book for free or a discounted price in exchange for an honest unbiased review. This has not influenced my opinions on the book.
Got this ebook for free, so no real loss, but there is nothing in here particularly enlightening. It's a very short ebook you could read in 30 minutes and is comprised of basic advice for losing weight. The title is completely misleading and frankly ridiculous. I gave it 2 stars because the advice is solid, but nothing new: limit sugars and simple carbs, exercise, fast, set goals, etc. I wouldn't pay anything for it.
The advice in this eBook can help people with their weight loss goals. This is a great book for someone just starting their weight loss journey as it gives many tips and suggestions for success. This eBook covers everything from exercise strategies to water intake to diet. It is however just a simple overview. It doesn't go into a lot of detail on the various topics, but does give you a good foundation.
I'm not sure I will lose 10 in a week. however the advice in this book is very realistic. these are perfect tips for how to lose weight. my favorite is journaling. you have to take of yourself emotional to be happy on the outside people.
I liked how the book was a quick to the point summary of why we maintain and how we lose weight. The advice the book gives is practical and doable, if you are willing to put in that extra effort and time.
Most of this book is common sense weight loss tips. However, there was a few new things I learned. Plus, reminders of things I already knew but wasn't practicing. All in all, it's worth the read.
