It's true what they say you know; no-one writes Rock Star Romance quite like Jade C. Jamison. If you are unfamiliar with her works, then this is the perfect opportunity to experience the magic of good storytelling with a Rock 'n' Roll romance/erotica theme, in one fell swoop.

Backstage Passion includes one of my favourite Rock Star novels of ALL-TIME! Bullet is the first book in a series but can be read as a standalone as it was originally written this way. Jade's fans loved Valerie's story so much, they begged her to continue writing books for the other characters, and because she is just rock solid awesome and listens to her adoring fans, she did! This isn't a ploy to get readers to buy the other books within a series, because every story within this compendium can be read as a standalone.

The story is told in past and present. Valerie and Ethan meet during their first semester, freshman year in college. She is a naive virgin without a clue what she wants to be when she grows up. Ethan is there to please his mom. He knows he wants to be a rock star when he grows up. Together with his band, Bullet, they are taking the greater Denver area by storm with their heavy metal shows. Unfortunately, Ethan is the cliché of rock-gods and is a user – women, drink, and drugs. Will they make it as a couple? Will the band make it on the road?

I've just recently "met" Jade on Facebook through mutual book-friends. With the release of FEVERISH, the teasers had me wanting to meet Clay/Jet. I was advised to read these in order, and Jade gave me BULLET. Thank the good Lord she did. I would be kicking myself if I had missed out on this yummy-ness. Val is surrounded by five gorgeous rock-stars with tattoos and long hair. These guys are her protectors, her tormentors, and a few become her lovers. Several times, I had to stop and take a deep breath before plunging back into this story. The sex will fog up whatever glass you have around you. From the loss of her virginity to the awakening of her inner goddess, Val takes you with her on her coming-of-age journey. This is more than just a story of Val's sexual journey. It is also a peek into the microcosm of this rock band, from the self-sacrifices to the self-promotion needed to realize their dreams. If you don't feel like you have been on tour with the band when you finish this story, you're doing it wrong!

Finding out he is the drummer in a local metal band is the very best flavor of icing on the cake. Soon Casey and Scott are inseparable, until something has Casey running and leaving this life behind as well. Will she always be on the run, or is Scott a reason to return?

I am very drawn to Casey. There are times when I would love to run from everything that is my current life and holler "do over" like a child playing marbles on the playground. Not only did she do it, but she did it with gusto! I loved this story. The more I read from Jade's works, the more I want to read them all!

This is the first in Jade’s newest series, Wishes, and is based on a short story from QUICKIES. Her fans wanted to know what happened after “the end,” and Jade asked the characters to give us what we wanted. Be Careful What You Wish For, … you just may get it!

A few months ago, Jade contacted me and asked me to join her team as a Beta reader with this story in particular in mind. I fan-girled for a few minutes (ok, hours, but let’s not give her a big head!) and then squealed, “yes!” Now, here it is. It’s time to let you all know what I thought of this short-story turned into a novel.

A lot of people are going to see “cheating,” and immediately decide this book isn’t for them. Shame on you! You are judging without knowing the whole story. There is always his story, her story, and her story. This is Jessica’s story and Kage’s, too. The timing of their meeting will feel pre-ordained, their souls fated to find one another, and their relationship will burn bright. The only question is really whether something that burns so brightly, so quickly, so hotly, can be sustained.

I absolutely loved this story. Having been the wife left behind, I have the perspective of Kage’s wife, Faye, but my heart trusted Jessica’s angst as she was plagued with self-doubts and self-torture in pursuing a happily ever after she had never before dreamed possible for her life. There were moments of laughter and certainly moments of tears, worry, suspicion, and through it all a passionate and sweet love. Then there was the ending. I know during the last few chapters I screamed, and I cried, and …

Trust me; this is not a story of cheating. It is a story of karma, fate, and wishes made truth

Megan is an introvert and assistant librarian at the Winchester Public Library. It has been ten years since high school graduation and her best friend, Lisa, is cajoling her to attend. Megan doesn’t want to run into her high school sweetheart, a boy she never got over and is now the lead singer for the popular heavy-metal band MADversary. When she gives in, her greatest fear is realized, sparks fly, and Meg is afraid of being left behind once again.

I loved this story. It was hot… as in melt-your-panties hot…with a lot of sweet. Tyler is a rock God with a heart of gold. His sensitive side makes him swoon-worthy, but he also knows how to rock the sheets.

I completely “get” Megan. I, too, am very introverted and hate loud and crowds although I will brave them for something I really want (like the right kind of music). We prefer the company of books over most people. We share the feelings of “what if” of a high school boyfriend. We share a fear of being alone and the fear of choosing so poorly that we would rather be alone. We are romantics with a side of skeptic. We are the hopeless, hopeful romantics who pray that we are wrong and not all men are the same.

This story is all about the second chance at a love that had never died. What happens when you get that opportunity to reunite with the man who has held your heart? He is the man against whom all other men have been compared for ten years. Do you take a chance, even when you think it’s just a weekend lust down memory lane?

Jade Jamison is observant. She knows people and it shows in her writing. This story had me sucked in from page one and I didn’t want to let go until I was done.

Bullet ~ I loved this story it was really good! Its based over a large span of years! Which is somewhat uncommon in a lot of romances. But otherwise you will totally love this book and the M.C.'s well except Ethan I'm not his biggest fan nope not at all but you got to read to find out. 5 Cupcakes

MADversary ~ I liked it, it was a bit slow in places. But overall it was a great story about second chances! It ultimately comes down to trust more then anything in this story! Whether or not the two MC's have enough trust not only in themselves to make the correct decisions but also in each other! 4 Cupcakes

Be Careful What You Wish For ~ Its a short story! But a lot happens in such a short amount of time! The title just like the saying is true to its word in this story! Although I don't agree with what happened I do believe the 2 MC's wouldn't of ever found each other if things hadn't of transpired the way they did! There isn't much to be said about it, just that its a short quickie! 3.5 Cupcakes

Tangled Web ~ it was a bit slow in some places, but it was also intriguing enough to keep my interest! Both of the MC's kept their true feelings hidden from each other. But in all honesty I just didn't feel a connection between them to be honest. Maybe its because I didn't really get to know who Johnny was now. But I do believe if I had got some prices here and there from his POV, I probally would of been able to get a better vibe from him. Overall its a good story and believable characters. 4 Cupcakes

Then Kiss Me ~ Well, it was good but it dragged in places. The characters were interesting and believable, I just didn't really relate to Casey. Don't get me wrong she was a hoot, but at the same time I just didn't like her. I really don't get why she ran when she thought she might be pregnant. I mean she's 26/27, she dealt with it like a teenager. I know from experience, I became pregnant when I was 19 but I didn't run I dealt with the consequences and became a single mom at 20. So in the end its a good, relatable and believable story and characters. But I just didn't relate to Casey! 3 Cupcakes

Jade Jamison is the rock god(ess) of storytelling when it comes to the world of rock bands, rockstars and the women they love. I first read Bullet as a standalone book and then Tangled Web also as a standalone book and they were absolutely fabulous! This collection gets you both of those as well as a couple of her other ones and to review them here as a group will not do them justice, so I plan to do individual reviews for each book (as I have already done with Bullet and Tangled Web which both got 5+ star reviews from me).
Pick up this hard rocking, sexy collection while you can and sit back with a cold one and enjoy!!
If you like rock or metal music and sexy long haired tatted men...you will be in heaven =)

I give this one 20 hard rocking stars (5 for each book)...the short story is a bonus =)

I got this thinking it was new rock star novel/prequels etc at just under £4 it was only after buying and downloading did i see that it was old novels I had read, they are a couple of good books, but they are either now free or cheaper to buy. In addition some of the are novels have follow on book/s that you have to purchase separately to find out the ending, or a short story. I'm giving this a rating of 3 stars because 3 stars means "i like it" but they aren't the best books I've read or, the most amazing books I've read. I'm sorry everyone's tastes differ.
