Kate makes me angry

Oh my gosh, the only way I could get through this book was knowing Julie is all about the forever after! I’m so happy for Wyatt and that everything turned out well for him! Kate geez stop being stubborn gah! Kate really stressed me out… good book, good ending, real people stories I suppose, written very well.

Wow, Julie has done it again which isn’t surprising since I’ve loved all her books that I’ve read. I’ve read them all multiple times, some more than others with my favourites but I just love this world that Julie has created. I thought this another great addition to the Six Pack Shifters Series. I’m glad that we get another book about Wyatt and Kate since we got a novella about the early days of their mating. This book was an emotional roller coaster and it made me shed more than a few tears, so keep your tissues handy. Man, the struggles that Kate and Wyatt go through during this book is so real. I thought it was cool that Julie brought the struggles of miscarriage, infertility, unexpected pregnancy and the fear of losing another child that people face everyday into this fictional world that she’s created.
It also shows that even with true mates that not everything is perfect and that you still have to not only work on yourself but your relationship just like it the real world. I also loved how the rest of the Six Pack and their mates surrounded Kate and Wyatt with love and support when they needed them the most. Total friendship/found family goals. I’ve already pre-ordered A New Prospect, the next Westin Force Delta Series book and His Wild Mate, the next Six Pack Shifters Series book and I’m really looking forward to reading them both when they’re released. It’s only about a month wait until I can get another Julie fix. I’ll most likely do some re-reads of my favourites of Julie while I wait. I’d happily read as many books from this world that Julie decides to write. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, Westin World books and author to everyone.

Julie Trettel has done it again! His Stubborn Mate is an emotional rollercoaster. One minute you're yelling at Kate for doing something stupid, then the next you're crying. This is Kate and Wyatt's second story, it's 10 years after they mated and what they are going through with mated life.
Wyatt is working at the ranch everyday then going to Kate's diner to help out there. Their routine is getting consistent everyday the same thing with not a lot of spontaneousness. All his friends are finally settling down with mated and having kids. This is something Wyatt and Kate have had trouble with. But one drunken night changes everything!
Kate is stubborn and is convinced she's going to push Wyatt away with the fact that after trying for years and losing a baby by having a miscarriage that kids aren't in their future because of the emotional damage that miscarriage caused, but she sees the way Wyatt looks at his friends kids when he holds them and decides to get him something to occupy his mind away from having babies.
In the end they come together to overcome their emotional issues and finally talk it through.

Just when I thought Julie couldn't possibly write any better. She goes and proves me wrong... I would give this book 10 stars if Goodreads gave me that option. This book is freaking amazing!! One heck of a roller coaster ride. I felt like a yoyo going back and forth from laughing so hard I was crying, literally having to put the book down for a moment so I could catch my breath. (Let's just say I dont want to sit at the booths in Kate's dinner LOL.) Then sitting on the edge of my seat, biting my already short nails as I am crying with some sadness. Actually praying for the characters and yes even Wyatt's horse Rusty!! I would definately recommend this book if you love descriptive detail, characters that you literally fall in love in, and like I said crazy roller coaster rides.
Julie is only 1 of 2 authors who when they release a new book, I totally stop whatever else I was reading just to devour their new book. I guess its a healthier addiction then alot of other things. eh? :-) But seriously if you haven't read this book yet... you are depriving yourself of a truly amazing story. Don't wait any longer, grab this book and enjoy the ride it takes you on..

Heart tugging in the best way!
First thing - this book would be best enjoyed after reading His Destined Mate which shows this couple meeting as young adults. Reading previous Westin Pack and Six Pack Shifters is not necessary but does add enjoyment.
His Stubborn Mate picks up Kate and Wyatt 12 years into their relationship. I love the falling in love story previous but this continuation is even better. It just feels like more. Real love between them over years, including struggles they face and how they get to a very sweet and satisfying end.
This was a very emotional read for me and deals with some heavier topics than most books by this author. It was well worth the tissues and this book has shot to my top 3 from this author. I need more time and a reread to see if it is number one on my list but, it is such a wonderful addition to this world.

I've finally had the chance to read his stubborn mate and WOW!
If you love a true mate story but want to know what happens next, a true reality of life then this book is perfect for you!
This book was the missing reality I didn't realise I needed, it had all the feels and tissues were very much needed. My love for Kate and Wyatt has reached an all new level and this book has definitely secured a space in my top 5 for sure.
Julie has once again outdone herself, giving us new insights into the shifter world aswell as answering some questions about fully mated pairs too. My paper back collection is growing and I can't wait to add all future stories to it too!
Thank you Julie for this amazing story, it touched on so many personal and relatable topics but in such a beautiful way.

An emotional journey
This book was an incredible emotional journey complete with tears, both happy and sad. Ms. Trettel nailed the fears of pregnancy after a miscarriage and the games you play in your head trying not to get attached. Wyatt and Kate's struggle in dealing with infertility was so incredibly real that it tore at my heart. I know the pain of seeing everyone around you get pregnant when you can't, and the memories this book brought back for me were hard to deal with. But as always, Ms. Trettel gave me my happy ending and left me with a newfound appreciation for just how talented she is as a writer. This book may be tough to read but worth every tear you will shed.

his stubborn mate
Just finished Kate and Wyatt’s story and like all of Julies’ book, it was wonderful. It had romance, humor, heart wrenching situations and even “disgusting attitude’ of Kate sometimes but how true nurturing love wins in the end. Truly loved the book. Like all the other characters in all the different packs , you think of them as real people and you really wonder the future of all these families. The author sure has a lot of sources for continuation of stories. Now maybe I can get back to doing everything I need to do . Good job. FYI. I tried reading another author in this same genre, and there is no comparison on the style of writing. I’ll just wait for more of your books

I think this might be a new favorite! These two go through more than one couple should but their love is boundless. They not only have chemistry but depth. They truly want to make the other happy but sometimes that doesn't make themselves happy. They are able to work through all that comes their way and their bond is stronger because of it. Be prepared to cry tears of happiness and sadness. Julie sure knows how to break you only to bring you right back up. This couple will sure survive the life that they are given. Cant wait to see what happens in their future. This book was not only well written but heartfelt.

Well this started off with Kate and Wyatt going through some difficulties and it getting progressively worse through the read, I would say that there are some serious scenes which may cause some distress to some readers, but this story has a very sweet ending.
Great plot, and writing but some scenes were triggering for myself as certain aspects were fairly close to home. Lots of angst, throughout this read. Lots of great scenes with other Six Pack characters and Collier pack, which always make these reads amazing. Some steamy scenes and some funny scene’s especially with Chewy. Overall I absolutely loved this read and can’t wait for the next read in this series.

This outing fits well within the series but the goal isn’t what fans are used to as we revisit a mated pair. Wyatt and Kate are in a marriage valley. Kate’s determined to keep Wyatt’s mind off their childless state. She works long hours, sneaks out while he’s asleep, avoids his calls and even gets him a substitute. But the unexpected happens and they have opposite reactions to the news and we’re walked through it.
The ‘cuteness’ factor, (if it was present) was clearly exhausted quickly leaving Kate to be irritatingly boring, self-involved and downright silly for much too long, to this reader’s taste. If ever an outing needed a second thread it was this one!

Oh my! Tissues compulsory for that one!
To be entirely honest, I wasn't going to read this one: Wyatt and Kate had been mated since before the entire Westin- Collier series started and the pregnancy trope is not one I usually enjoy. But because I've read and liked each book so far, I decided not to skip it.
And it was the most major, beautiful, heartbreaking, heartwarming surprise ! This book is in my top five of the the entire Westin- Collier series so far! I've laughed, cried and swooned at least once!

This story is a little different than Julie's other books as this is not the Meet and Mate story, Julie gave us that story in His Destined Mate a short story/novella of Wyatt and Kate, this book takes place years into their happily ever after when life comes at you and you have to make time for what's important and roll with the surprises that life eventfully throws your way. I laughed, I cried, and I was so happy to get this story. As a woman, I may think I should sympathize with Kate, but Wyatt won my heart. I highly recommend just hold on to you tissues.

I swear I was holding my breath reading this story.
This is the one, throughout all of Julie’s book that packed the biggest emotional punch!
It has heart in your throat moments and the emotional moments were like riding a rollercoaster.
It was an utterly brilliant story, that handled a very difficult topic.
I have had a personal experience with this and this is why I can say that it was written so well, with respect and grace.
This book was a great story from start to finish and it had an utterly beautiful ending.

OK so this book was very good. The problem was like she said in the book at the beginning it was for everyone. Mother‘s father’s mothers to be Father’s Day. The thing was that it took me five days to read this books reason wise is that I was born with a disease called fetal alcohol syndrome and it felt like Kate wanted to give her children off and that just pissed me off. I had to put the book down at least three times because either I want to burn it or throw it in the trash but I didn’t do any of that I read it all the way through and the ending was fantastic.

Wow, what a powerful emotional story. I’m still trying to recover from the rollercoaster of emotions this has taken me on. Definitely worth five stars, I love the pack and the family aspect too. Wyatt and Kate story is tearjerker that’s so worth it. This is a perfect story, but there are some triggers to it. It is a story that needs to be told, and is a perfect combination of romance, family, community and pack. as always well written and even though it’s hard parts is still a page turner.

What an emotional roller coaster! I love Wyatt and Kate from the Collier pack since they were first introduced in Can’t Be Love. Since then they have had their own novella and now we get to see them down the mated road. I won’t lie I ugly cried at least twice and threatened to throw my kindle more than once. As always Julie Trettel sucked me into her world and didn’t disappoint. I loved this book and look forward to seeing more from this pair.

The next instalment in Westin world with the 6 pack boys. It follows Wyatt and Kate 12 years after their mating, and let me tell you. It does not disappoint. It has her usual style of humour and beloved characters but touches on deeper topics. It definitely gets the emotions going. This whole Westin world is a favourite, and this one is no different. I love Wyatt oh so much and I'm sure you will too.

I just found Julie Trettel's books. In the last 3 months I have read all of them. I can say honestly that I love each and every one of them. My Stubborn Mate was no different. Wyatt and Kate's story was an emotional roller coaster ride. I went from mad as a hornet, to sad as the saddest person on earth, to as happy as happily ever after. Thus book was an amazing read and I highly recommend it to everyone

I absolutely was in love with this book all the way through it. It touched my heart on a different level than any of her books. I cried, I laughed, I got aggravated with Wyatt and Kate both. When I say I cried I mean I bawled my eyes out. It was such a touching story. I’m really glad we got to get another story with them because I believe they are my favorite couple by far after reading this.
I highly recommend reading this. Just prepare for an emotional roller coaster.

Grab the tissues! This book was PERFECT, it will have you crying with many chuckles scattered throughout. This is definitely up there as one of my favorite books from Julie! I can not wait to see more of the wonderful characters. Chewy is also just the best!

Bring the tissues! What a wild ride of emotions this book is! We get to explore Wyatt and Kate's relationship with the sealing of a mate bond while also exploring the importance of communication in a relationship, pregnancy loss and multiples. As usual, this book was brilliantly written and a perfect addition to the six pack series.

I thought I was ready I really did. I love Kate and Wyatt.. but this emotional path they are at.. Julie just digged deeper into them to the point I had to go into my trailer so I could be a mess all on my own it’s emotions is raw and honest and if you haven’t pre ordered to it!! You will just love Kate and Wyatt even more just keep in mind to bring tissues.

What can I say it’s another great book by Julie. It was a great story to tell about Kate. The issue in the book is what a lot of women face, but most of them are too afraid to talk about it. It is real life stuff and women should never feel ashamed to talk about this kind of stuff.

This is another amazing book by Julie Trettel. She always makes me fully immersed in the world that she has created and makes it so I do not want to leave it.
This book does touch on some difficult issues and can be tricky for some people. I loved that it does touch on this tough issues as not all authors would even attempt to touch on them let alone offering multiple points of view on these.

The best yet
His stubborn mate has to by Julie's best work ever! The feels that run through you when you read this story will have you in tears. I've known family members that have gone through miscarriages and it's the hardest thing to go through. So this book it home in so many ways! For me, the best part was naming the babies and to know they all went home in the end.

This one will hold your heat crush it and fill it.. this one hit really close to home I have had a still birth and 3 miscarriages and 3 live births all my babies are rainbow babies saying that I related to this so much it’s a strong and beautiful story it talks about the dark parts pregnancy after loss and the struggles from both points of view it’s truly amazing

Grab your tissues and be ready to ride the roller-coaster ride. This book kept me on edge all the way from beginning to end. Just when I thought I could guess what was going to happen next I was thrown through a loop. This was a very emotional read for me but so worth it.
